I like Ethereum will hit that mark by next year but i'm doubtful that it will possibly happen becaue there are lot of new altcoins in the market in which some of them are the same smart contract platform with the Ethereum but much faster and cheaper so except if Ethereum will still be the most commonly used plarform by most of the altcoins users until bullish then maybe $4,000 is possible.

I do not believe and have no feeling that Ethereum will be worth $ 4k. currently, Ethereum circulation is 100 million coins and if multiplied by $ 4k then the valuation will be higher than the current Bitcoin valuation. Ethereum will never be able to surpass Bitcoin.

I agree with the fact that ethereum would be unable to surpass bitcoin, but I've heard predictions that the value of Bitcoin would surge far higher than 20,000$ which was the highest the market has seen. If these predictions we've heard, begins to manifest, ethereum would most certainly join in the upward movement.

That is also a great advantage of ETH. They get the trust of many investors and they invest a lot of money in their PoS, so ETH is just being underestimated due to the high volume of trading of the BTC.
I believe that after a short period of time, the moon will increase and the price of ETH will increase very strongly in the near future.

You may be right about your points but I am doubting the amount which is $4k.
Hitting $1k had been like impossible for many and somehow it did reach the number. But 4k? That will be a mess since there are already a lot of ETH out there.
It aint bitcoin with just 21 million of it. Just think about the market cap when it reach a huge number.

Curious, why can't anybody guess that Ethereum can cost 6, 8, 10 thousand? We cannot foresee the events on the crypto market as everything is connected here, including ETH. We can expect only that Ethereum will gain well after Ethereum 2.0 is launched.

This altcoin has already become a type of FOMO. It is better to relax and deal with trading without jumping to some odd conclusions.

Some are saying ETH cant keep up because the coin has rivals already like tron,waves,neo etc but they have forgotten that we have better coins that should be standing over bitcoin by now already but bitcoin still retain its throne,the same thing will happen to ethereum over others like tron and neo,i think investors will keep supporting ETH over the rest.

right now ethereum is under $200 and how can eth go up to $4K in just a few years?

all of that is just speculation even for more than 1 year we don't get big updates. there are no new features they add to ethereum. so I'm pessimistic even when bitcoin goes up to ATH, I'm sure ethereum is only around $500-1k.

After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project,many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile,the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption

Pretty great positive expectations and explanation, I am not a contrdict of your view about the ethereum future, I believe for your positive brave heart the futire of ethereum in the year 2021 hope your prediction will come true.
In my own view and opinion ethereum is still useful and strong crypto currency but so far we need to admit difficult to hit the old price of ethereum before their price goes dump, 1k usd get hit by ethereum in the end year is near from the reality.

I do not think that Ethereum will hit 4000 $ before 2021. The altcoin market is decreasing as bitcoin has dominated the market with more than half of the market. Ethereum reached not more than 1700$ in 2017, the golden year for cryptocurrency. So how can we expect Ethereum to hit $4000 in the short span of time when the market is becoming stable?

It makes no surprise at all, cause in the first place and everyone knows that ETH won't go that far until such time that Bitcoin will price at $100k. Well, I'm not that nega but seems to be impossible at this time and even for the years coming.
We'd love to see ETH making steps to go higher but the market demand still at low which makes prices remains at the dump.
