Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$

It won't hit $4000 by 2020. If you want some perspective look at the ETH options on Deribit,

The March 2020 is the longest running option for ETH. And if you look at even the largest call which is $600, it only has a price of $5-6 per option.

Hence there is very little reasoning that it will even go above $606 by March 2020. Keep in mind this is only with an OI of around 4500 contracts so its not large volume but if some entity assumed that $4000 was possible they would buy up every single one of these options.

I think the price of ethereum will not be able to reach the price you mentioned, because the total supply of ethereum is very much and the demand is also not proportional to the amount of ethereum available, so I feel that ethereum is difficult to be able to raise prices to such an extent.

Everything  is possible but it was hard to happen there are few things needed before they can reach that target.
ETH need  to make a new demand,  making ETH to POS can be a big  help but it will hard to predict if that was enough to get the price back 1000$.

to date, the rise in ethereum prices is due to the ebb and flow of bitcoin prices. if you only depend on this, it looks like the price of $ 4000 will be impossible, even reaching the price of $ 1000 will take a long time, because waiting for the price of bitcoin to reach a high level.

There was hundreds of thousands of people worldwide buying BTC to trade for ETH to trade for that shiny new token. There was also countless ICO's popping up on the daily and people rushing to be the first to buy and flip. Millionaires were being minted on the daily until the companies behind some of the ICO's began dumping their ETH for that cold hard cash. Now people see a tiny upswing in price and are running to be the first to call bull run! hurry up and buy. However without a reason for hundreds of thousands of people to trade Crypto like those fateful days of spring 2017, We will not see EVEN the numbers that we had. Especially while people are squirreling coins to cash out as soon as they can.

Wrong, IEO is not boosting ETH since they are using an exchange token, and that's a competition.
The best way to see ETH boost again is if ICO will be alive again which is unlikely to happen since people have already settled with IEO.
Further, if the market will recover and ETH tokens will rise again, this would help ETH to recover, but this is a big and major improvement which for almost 2 years have not yet arrived or happen.

Wrong, IEO is not boosting ETH since they are using an exchange token, and that's a competition.
The best way to see ETH boost again is if ICO will be alive again which is unlikely to happen since people have already settled with IEO.

Ethereum is still the most promising altcoin right now, and its potential is really big, but I doubt that it will hit 4000$ by 2021, since the market is still down and it will need a long time to recover again slowly. Maybe it will hit 1000$ again or so by this year, if the market started to recover early.

After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project,many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile,the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption

1. u dunno what u say, the dev has no idea , no strategy , lack of coordination each other, they may not showing sign of stopping because they can't stop.

2. did u think about inflation of price about eth.2.0 POS system ? , and also before go to it, phase to move hundreds of smart contract to new blockchain still be unsolved problem

I don't think the ethereum price will hit $4000 in 1-2 years' time because the number of ethereum in circulation is huge at about 100 million coins. unless the cryptocurrency gets to the mainstream, mass adoption by the people around the world. for that to happen we are going to need at least 1 billion people using cryptocurrency around the world.

nothing in the crypto world is impossible. Ethereum is one of the best altcoins even being the number 2 best for part of the blockchain. so it's natural that in 2020 ethereum has a high price. Besides the reasons above, another reason is the rising level of bitcoin prices which I think after halving will reach 2-3x the current price. ethereum's ever-increasing design makes ethereum the best altcoin to support other project platforms. this is the biggest reason ethereum must be able to reach a high price level. Early emerges of Etherum are around 10-20 $ and currently prices reach 10x. follow the main coin, BITCOIN.

Fisrt of all, You have to remember how much the total of supply of Ethereum. If anyhow eth hits 4000$ than just eth market will be almost 400 billon usd, how possible? I will really surprised if it will happen in 2022. But ETH price still quite low in the volatile market. Two years is very short time to ETH touch 4k$ it’s really difficult in this eth ecosystem. ETH a lot of updates in the coming years. I think 1000$ is desired price in 2020.
