I am sure we will never know whether ETH can reach $ 4000 or not. But I am quite sure that in the next few years the price of ETH will not get there. Looking at the history of ETH, it seems we have to wait longer to see ETH reach $ 4000.
I would not be surprised if indeed ETH could reach $ 4000 in the normal way. But I would be surprised if ETH suddenly existed without any extraordinary factors affecting it.

I have my hope and faith for Ethereum but I don't think it will reach 4000 that easy. It will be a long run for it to pursue that price. However,  isn't impossible because we all know that Etheruem is also one of the most trusted coin. 2020 could either be a year for Bitcoin or Ethereum since there were huge events and changes happening in crypto world involving these two.

Maybe I didn’t understand your statement a bit, but I want to say that I have read the statements of Vitalik Buterin and his team, which predicted very good prospects for ethereum and called fairly large numbers as future prices for ethereum and $ 4,000 is the minimum. I think that the whales is the main contributor on ethereum price to achieve a certain value, before $200 will be break. Of course Vitalik Buterin will do everything to fund eth in order to maintain the market, which could prevent that from declining a higher percentage due to panic sellers. If ever we will be going to that price $400, the demand will also increase as it might create a lot of interest from those people who've monitored eth since the last time it went too high in contrast with bitcoin's bull market.

So your top 2 reasons why eth will hit $4k a coin is because the team is willing to try new things and because it will be proof of stake....I think you are going to need to dig a little bit deeper than that.  There are literally thousands of coins with those 2 attributes.  And why $4k and why after bitcoin halving.  This post makes it sound like you are just throwing darts at a board

The price of 4000$ per Ethereum is very possible if there will be new bull market. As you can see there have been a lot of development of ethereum and we do not know if the bitcoin halving will also affect the price of other cryptocurrencies like ethereum. The ethereum 2.0 is one of the most waiting update in field of cryptocurrencies and I already holding ethereum since it hits all-time high price which is around 1000$.

I also think so, it seems unlikely that ETH can reach $ 4000 in a short time, although Eth is one of the smart contracts that are widely used by various projects but to reach a nominal of $ 4000 certainly requires quite a long time

This is not even possible when market is on its way to great future. Even when the bitcoin is about to hit 22k, ethereum will still not manage to reach 4000 dollars. That is a huge price for it to attain. It could be done when bitcoin is pumping so high that it reaches 50k or something. Bitcoin ahs very strong influence on Ethereum pumps and dumps.

The price of ethereum to reach that point is not an easy thing to do. so many challenges and also survive in various conditions. considering that Ethereum in 2017 was experiencing a significant increase because their ICO was quite successful at that time . and in 2020 we still don't know what will happen later

The potential of Ethereum goes way beyond $4k and it should have been doing way better than it's current price. What i think the team can do in addition to implementing the PoS consensus mechanism is to cap the total supply of Ethereum. This will boost the confidence in ETH and also increase the demand for it.

however the price of $ 4000 does look quite impossible for now. even the current ethereum price still does not exceed $ 200, so people will be very surprised if the price of ehtereum reaches that price. however, I believe that future developments can make the ethereum price exceed the price of $ 1000 to $ 2000 and of course it will reach its new ATH. but until now, I haven't gotten accurate information that could make ethereum prices go up this year. like ICO which was popular in 2017. there is currently IEO which is quite the same as ICO, it's just that it's no longer focused on ethereum anymore.

I don't think the ethereum price will hit $4000 in 1-2 years' time because the number of ethereum in circulation is huge at about 100 million coins. unless the cryptocurrency gets to the mainstream, mass adoption by the people around the world. for that to happen we are going to need at least 1 billion people using cryptocurrency around the world.

There are many that do not take the time to think what it will take for a coin to reach their target price, while 4k for ethereum cannot be discarded it is almost three times its highest price and will require the rest of the market to have an incredible growth as well and there is nothing that even suggest we are close to such growth, at best we could see a price of 500 during the next months and that is if an altcoin season comes which is looking more doubtful with each passing day.

Everything must be able to do an analysis also talk with the circumstances that will occur in the future absolutely can not be predicted at this time. I myself am pretty sure that in the following years if the development is good enough the price will definitely be satisfying.after 2 years the situation did not experience a big change

Such arguments can be accepted only if those projects will bring real competitions. But while ETH still the favorite being used by most developers, it's still in process whether this project will ever hit that ranged or it will go slow and just continue to have low value while trying to survive this market. We can't say that there's no chance since the market still progressive and there's updates and good news that can trigger the pumped.
