I believe that there are ideas and they are being implemented, there are simply very few of them and we may simply not know about them and skip them. The fact that most of the projects look very bad is due to the fact that most admins just want to earn money quickly, and the project does not interest them. Personally, I can now highlight the BitWings project. Unlike others, BitWings has a physical product, smartphones and laptops that are configured for ETH mining. There are other projects such as Funtion X, which developed the world's first smartphone working completely on blockchain. I think there are other projects, but they need to be found and studied.

IEO projects in my opinion are quite potential,it's just that new projects need time to compete with old projects.The crypto industry continues to grow rapidly,of course there are some projects that have advantages in the future.At present for me the Harmony project is quite good and the team continues to make good progress and register to many exchanges

I agree that now there is a very tough competition in the world of cryptocurrency and therefore few altcoins manage to survive. And such projects of Ethereum level on the horizon are not visible yet.

There are definitely  great coins elsewhere. Real and good projects are difficult to come by now. That's why you need to carry out thorough research about a particular project before investing in it.

Just a suggestion, go to check the ICO rating websites which share the weekly upcoming ICO analyze. After carefully analyzing the ICOs you can make a list with the proper, legit projects. Next step should be to find the bounty campaign of the organized projects, this is the hardest part. Some of these projects will not have the bounty allocation or small percentage of raised BTC, some projects use the bounty platforms but it is a skill that you should develop it as a bounty hunter. The alternative choices are also obtainable but it is everyone's personal liking at the end of the day.

Yes. Among hundreds of current projects, there should be always good projects to appear. But it's really rarely seen, I thought many developers are not confident with the current market condition. They may consider about there are too many projects died soon after launching because of the lack of supports from investors.  

The main problem I realized is investors have lost their confidence in crypto market due to recent crash in 2018, many projects turned scams and coin value of most of the projects depreciated many folds.

It's true, investors may experience trauma after suffering many losses in 2018. So, they are not confident to put their money on new projects anymore or even some of them have come out already.

You are wrong; several coins of this level appeared. Harmony is one of the independent coins that has also entered the binance market. And she has a huge potential. So in 2019 there are cool projects.

You are right, although not much, in 2019 began to bring up many successful projects. At the beginning of the year, there was a Content protocol that had reached several times the price of ICO, and lately, Harmony was listing Binance. We just need to be more thorough and selective in analyzing projects, it does require extra power, but this is for funds and investment.

Most projects are now all copy paste from all those successful projects and most new social experiment projects are still not able to gain more popularity to make new investors because of this red market. Most experimental projects cannot sustain on this bear market so that's why they end up as scam projects.

You are right! Most projects right now are recycled ideas but the good thing here is that most members of the crypto community can now finally distinguish a good project or a bad one since they are getting well informed! I reckon the crypto winter taught valuable lessons to us to be more vigilant on project's we choose to support.

It really be hard cause for every 100 ICO or IEO projects existed today, possible it has only 1% looks promising( IOMO) but not a guarantee that it will surely survive in the long run. We could only say that this project is really good and successful if we could see it running for many years and have a sustainable market growth. But what we are seeing by now is that most projects never been staying so long instead, it dried up after launching which is not meant to be and not that we called them promising.

In my opinion, some new projects are not just like duplicating old projects with some additional features. New projects like this will not be able to survive because old coins already have a large community while new coins need to socialize them in the cryptocurrency market so they don't focus too much on their products

yes the world of crypto has run out of original ideas.
we can see since 2017 there is no more ICO that shows its authenticity without following the previous project.
now ICO is just HYPE luck alone without seeing the quality of the ICO.

If you are looking for newly projects with new ideas I must say that was a hard one but there are still projects aiming to be better than the current one. Projects focus right now is to enhance what we have been using currently. Like harmony and elrond, they focus on enhancing the blockchain so that they can serve more users effectively.

First of all, we see a decrease in the total number of new ICO projects in the cryptocurrency market. However, in my opinion, their quality has just increased slightly. There are fewer fraudulent projects because they see that the chances of raising funds are already small. Investors are now more thoroughly evaluating projects before investing their money in new tokens.
Of course, over time, there will be less and less new ideas. However, in general, cryptocurrency continues to improve, and this is very important.

There are good projects but the team is doing something to devalue the token and more like scamming their own investors and bounty hunters. The team knew their token will be dumped eventually since the market isn't in the good condition yet so instead of sending the bounty tokens they hold it and plans to pay the bounty hunter for few more months longer and the team themselves are dumping their own tokens along wit hthe investors to make it look like they are not scamming early investors.

The major inventions have already been made. New ICOs are only trying to improve on the existing foundation - which is good because it will keep developers of older projects on their toes.

Yes same reasoning Im thinking. Many projects launched every month and some of them have the same concept and the only difference is the additional improvement which is good but, the previous project can still implement it though right? Its a matter of improving and coding. Anyway, If I choose a new platform it will be Harmony and I think young experts such as their team can really uphold their task to improve more on their project.

I don't really agree. Sure, some projects have improved their looks, they have onepagers especially is what I can see the difference is. Better pitch decks. No more scammy looking photos of people haha. But the flesh is still rotten once you remove the skin. Same nonsensical tokenomy, same intrinsic value rubbish, same lack of product!
