they must show the world they can defend themself against kiev dictator junta
But they don't have any Armoured personnel carriers or Main battle tanks to fight the Kiev regime. They only have sticks and Molotov cocktails. Don't know how they will be able to stand up against a well armed army. |

By hoping that the well-armed army consist for the most part of the same guys as they are, and that mothers and fathers of those boys in the army might well be on the barricades. |

I don't think Yatsenyuk will send soldiers from Eastern Ukraine. Instead he will send forces from the most rabidly anti-Russian regions, such as Lvov and Ternopol. The ground reports also point to that. |

This is serious. Resistance headquarters of the South-East put forth a 10-hour ultimatum to Lugansk regional government. The government must call in an extraordinary meeting of peoples deputies of Lugansk region with the aim to 1) Proclaim independent Lugans People's Republic; 2) Call for a referendum with two questions: 1. Are you for Lugansk People's Republic joining Russian Federation? 2. Are you for Lugansk People's Republic joining Ukraine? Conduct the referendum within 10 days. They also stated that they will surrender weapons to such authorities, that the citizens of Lugansk People's Republic will elect during the referendum. |
