What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction

Both can destroy your life and it's on the level of addiction if one guy smoke a pack of cigar daily his life will be in peril in the next two years and it's hard to cure something you get inside your body, than something you put inside your mind, the healing process for cigar will take years while on gambling it will only take months.

Both may not destroy your life if you know your limits. At the same time tobacco in any form may cause cancer in long run similarly gambling even in small amount but in regular basis may end up making you poor over the time. In my opinion, gambling may go balanced like you win and you lose and this process may continue if you are emotionally strong but smoking is like a slow poison which will definitely cannot be justified in for the cold countries.

gambling addiction is much easier to cure than cigar addiction. Both are bad, but the worst is cigar addiction.

Both gambling and cigar addiction would be easier to cure when that addicted person cooperates. I too like to conclude both of these addictions are bad and a person must be always conscious on not getting addicted to them. Yes, prevention is much better than suffering and then curing.

I wont go for either but if i have to pick up one and don't have a choice, i would certainly not go for cigar addiction. You don't only hurt your health smoking but there are no monetary gains unlike in gambling. For cigar, you just spend money while with gambling addiction you might get return on investment.

But unfortunately most people are addicted to both, smoking while playing gambling. It is true that shop does not benefit anything, but people do it anyway. So I think these two things cannot be separated except for people who don't smoke.

In my own personal opinion, cigar addiction and gambling addiction are both dangerous because cigarette addiction are dangerous when it comes to your health which it doesn't gives you any benefit, while gambling addiction are dangerous when it comes to your asset which it can lead you to bankruptcy and huge debts, that is why if you are using or doing both of it you should know your limitations because it is both harmful in all aspects of your life.

You are right though, but to an extent I feel cigar addition is even more preferable.  I would be having a lot of joy and happiness smoking my cigarettes if I happen to be addicted and if any health challenges would occur in future which is not always common I would be suffering it alone but the bad side of gambling addiction is that it affects everyone around the addicted player.

For instance, a married man who is an addicted gambler would continuously be hurting the 'feelings of his wife and other family members that care about him because they are aware of the monies that have been wasted all because of addiction but In cigar addiction,  no one is really concerned.

when i was still active or in gambling and addicted in cigarettes ,these comparison does not exist in my mind but not until i quit smoking when i realized how bad it is in my body,the first month i stopped smoking my body starts recovering and coughing leaves me for good,same when i control my gambling habits that i only played once a week and sometimes once a month.my pocket never lose money and so my life changed.

i say this for us to realized that there is many things to enjoy in life than these vices.but if there's one thing to choose i prefer gambling but with moderation

That is what we should learn and know that we can get a better life if we decide to stop cigar and gambling addiction. It's not easy, but at least we can try for our good, so we can change our life to be better than before. We need to build a new habit so we can distract our mind not to think about cigar and gambling. Both cigar and gambling can ruin our life without takes any longer, and if we realize that, we should take care of ourselves to change the bad habit into a good habit.

Well if you consider the scale of what's going to be affected, chances are, gambling addicts will affect more people than cigarette addicts. As you've mentioned, some people would resort to stealing just to fund their habits. Whereas cigarette addiction is more on an individual effect, though for me, it's more severe. Addiction to gambling can be removed. And once a person successfully get rid of that, there's a good chance to recovery. Cancer though gives you less chance of getting your life back.

If you said that, then gambling addiction would be the worst, compare to cigar addiction. But after thinking for a while, maybe that is true because when we have a gambling addiction, we can lose everything, and we will be hard to stop. But we can stop cigar addiction when we are getting a heavy cough because that will not be good for our health. We can choose two options, we want to get a healthy life, or we can still cough, and we cannot cure ourselves.

But in my view, gambling addiction will be the worse by having this in our life there would be negative effect mentally, emotionally and physically. Gambling is worse, although there is a chance to get money, but the risk of losing money will be more. addicted to cigarettes for me it's a sensation to feel something.

I believe addiction of any sought is bad and hampers physical and mental health. But if had to select either of two, i would certainly tag cigar addiction as worse. Beside deteriorating one's health, cigar has no monetary benefit unlike gambling where you might earn a fortune out of your addiction and sheer luck. For cigar, you just give out money and never get back any, unless it is a change

Gambling for me is very dangerous from narcotics because we can lose all our assets and even family. I got this experience from a friend of mine who was so active in gambling that all his money ran out in gambling and in the end his own family stayed away. in my opinion this is very detrimental because initially only a try but can be addictive

For myself, even though it can be said to be addictive, it is still in control. I gamble for a pleasure even though sometimes I want a big win. precisely when we think of a game we can benefit but if greed will harm us because money will run out

Actually, both of them could be harmful to your family in any way. First, gambling could ruin families in the way that you could engulf by your emotions and your behavior towards your family might change. Cigarette addiction, it's true that your health is the only will be affected but in fact if you got any medical issue upon using cigar your family will suffer medical expenses. that theres no winner nor good among the two because if addiction hits you then you're done.Handling ones self into these things
are the most important because if you do let them consume you then its really hard to break off on the chain of addiction.
