Winning or losing in each contest is normal and that is an absolute decision for the jury and as a participant who does not get a win, it is hoped that they will keep their spirits up in the next contest.

I think pencil carving does not interest anyone these days.

Not true. Pencil carving is one of the many lists I currently have of the skills that I want to learn. I think that it's neat and it challenges you to think of ideas that can fit in such a small canvas. I'll learn wood carving first just so I have the proper control in carving before I try on a pencil. 


Btw guys, I have previously had an email from roobet that I have some free spins waiting from me but it's only for pragmatic slots so I wasn't able to use them. Such a shame. I can't find a slot that pays decent unless it's a pragmatic.

No matter how many or few participants enter the contest, only one guideline should apply. Be confident in what we will do.
Even when I first entered the Roobet Art Contest, I didn't win anything, but I began to learn to think of a concept that might be different from the others.
 
Maybe the hand carving technique that I do is common and many can practice it, but what is a plus is a concept that is truly unique and not thought of before.

To complete the carving for the "Snoop Dogg X Roobet" contest took 25 days from start to finish, which is quite exhausting.

There will always be winners and those who lose are not losers, they also have some good works.
Instead of just buying other people's works and publishing them, it's better to lose our own original works.
Many people submit their work without any process.

Given the prizes they give out, it is normal that it gets a lot of attention. There are some very talented people on this forum and one guy stands out and is always one of the winners (Maus). I must say, I always look forward to see what he creates as it always something totally new and always stands out. Must cost a lot of time to create artworks like that.

The last few ones have been super close when winners are decided so I'm thinking that maybe if we lower the 1st/2nd prize a bit and add a 3rd/4th place prize too. I'll also run something by Roobet to see if free spins or free bets can be handed out to anyone who participates just a small thank you for joining. Happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this though!

Giving larger winning chances(as to have 4 winners each category) will give way to more productive and engaging participants as they will seek for best result to compete , adding that free spin/bets per participants also a gratitude to give way in aspiring artist from this forum , so even if they cannot win(since they have small chance in getting) at least there is a consolation prize to carry.

I agree if this is fixed the next art contest takes 4 winners and free bets for art contest participants who are not selected as winners.
This will be even more exciting and for sure there will be lots of people participating in the next art contest.
But to avoid abuse about free bets I think should set some rules a bit strict to avoid abuse of these free bets.

It's a great idea to incentivize more people to join the art contest and to reward those who put in the effort even if they don't win.

Regarding the rules to prevent abuse of free bets:
Perhaps limiting the amount of free bets one can receive or requiring a certain amount of effort in the art submission could be helpful.

Participation prize would be cool indeed if that's something that can be arranged and not abused. I feel like the quality of entries on these forum art competitions have increased a lot. Every participant seem to be so incredibly talented that i am too intimidated to join into anything even though i can do graphic design.

And while i love to see actual physically drawn and painted art, AI art compos should be fun as well. Maybe with mandatory prompt reveal after compo is over as well.

That doesn't just give people here a chance to earn a lot more than a signature campaign would, but it also gives people a chance to showcase their talent for the future as well, if you win it here, then you can maybe get someone else to offer you a job as well.

In all the years i have been staying up on this forum, then its only Roobet is the one who do really launched up this art contest and give out some decent prizes to its winners on which in every season or some notable events then this is where they do really launched out this kind of competition.Yes, it does really give out that chance on showcasing out your skills or talents when it comes to art.
There are really that several ways on making up some money here on this forum itself if you do really just know on how to make some move and be wary on what are the things been happening.
They would definitely be continuing this stuff considering that they are really getting that attention which i could say that its really that effective in speaking about marketing.
