Sounds like a nice bet, with a big chance of getting at least 1 mBTC back trough free bets. We all know first few rounds in grand slams are easy for top seeds and I don't see Djoković loosing against people that aren't in top 10 even if he is totally out of form.

Yeah and its a good promotions but regardless the odds for the outright is currently only 1.72 so yeah it'll be great if he actually win the tournament. There will be total of 7 rounds in Wimbledon so thats a total of 1.75 mbtc worth of free bets if he makes it. As long as he wins atleast 4 rounds then I guess its good enough

Good for you, leea! They look good (but anything looks good to me). I made my bed yesterday with my freebets. Slung one of them on tennis, hit only 1 out of 3 legs, at odds I normally think aren't even worth it anyway (below 15/10 all of them). The other sprayed on South American football -- and ALL 3 legs lost.

Seriously should just have put them both on single upsets in MLS or Brasileiro Serie A. Live and not learn, huh.

I'm on the same boat, wasted all my free bets that were given by Steve, and the free bets that I won from the NHL promo also didn't hit as I was one leg off from hitting a parlay.

I never make back anything on freespins, but Norway in the Winter Olympics were almost a given win (odds commensurate of course), so the freespins ended up making almost a doubler for the outlay -- but they needed to win a gold medal for every batch.

Think you'll need Djoko to win a lot more than 4 rounds but still, it's added value to him. Think the tennis guys will say Berrettini is a far better outright though!

Does anyone remember the 2021 Australian Open Special? Great times! Both outright bets on Djokovic and Osaka won, plus 14x 1mBTC in free bets. It was one of their better promos in recent memory, not to mention BTC was shooting up towards $50k at that time. Then they lowered it to 0.25 mBTC per win at Wimbledon (2021) but it was still paid in free bets. I see it's now free spins instead... i really wish sportsbook-related promos, which kinda took a hit this past year in favor of the casino promos, would be paid out in free bets still.

Absolutely, that was how it used to be I think, even with Afcon (I remember, as picked Senegal, that was an absolute blast, won the outright and got all the freebets). Still, as you say, should be easy first 4 rounds and sounds like money back at least.

Not only was it special for that, I also took home a 15/1 Djoko special in the same tourney, can't remember what exactly it was... not easy to look up bet history on Sportsbet but I also hit a 30/1 special on the same guy maybe in the same year or in 2020. I always saw great value in those, usually it's straight set win, something like more aces, and more break points, that sort of thing. Those were the days you plop down 1 mbtc on those specials just for fun haha.

I think that there will be fire, and fight for the title, neverminded no points taken for it

and there is a few contenders that can break a sweat and pass into second week, where it can get interesting (Norrie, Hurkacz)
with Berrettini in great form, and Novak as well (according to smash over FAA on exhibition), there is enough to expect good fight

Oh yeah I kinda forgot that its a slot free spins and yeah most of those spins are going to be trash so you'll need to land bonus round through those spins. Imo it could be 25 spins at $0.2 bet each for every time he wins because 0.25 mbtc is around $5 as of now.

I hope those spins are going to be stackable because I think its easier to land those bonus rounds if we have alot more spins rather than spinning with only 25 spins each day. Yeah it feels like fallacy at this point

Yeah the draws and qualification are still in progress.
Bet on a few matches and the special (djokovic was @1.73x) some of the top seeds were beaten in their first matches but are still being settled.
Watched a commercial a few days ago and thought it said June 23rd. But it was quite late at night and must of read it with blurry eyes as June 26th makes more sense (matches start late at night on the schedule I am viewing from) since it beings officially on the 27th of June.

Went for "any other player" in selections where there was that choice (except Johnny Davis and Ousmane and they were all right wow)... 11/15 in total, not bad for not knowing anything about anything huh?

I didn't even come close with 6 right at the end of it all. Very disappointed but knew I wouldn't do so well once it started because I had the utmost favorite out of the whole thing to get selected #1 in the draft and he did not.
Paolo Banchero who was a 4-1 was picked overall going to the Orlando magic.
Not many saw that one coming, as from the interview afterwards, he didn't either.

Still have my Novak bet to look forward to for this weekend. Hopefully he makes it to the finals so to get those sweet free spins for everyone of his matches for the next few weeks.

I also got 9/15 correct which is mind blowing considering I never watched a single NBA or NCAA game in my life, never heard of any of the players and picked out answers on my mobile with little help from google to even understand some of the questions and then peaking at the odds to help me decide.

Well kinda expected because instead of betting for outright winners of our own selection as usual, the current promotions has specific details on betting for Djokovic so with everyone betting for him then the odds are expected to gradually goes down. At this rate, I might not even be EV+ anymore but its still decent promotions considering that you have chances of turning all those free spins into cash later

Fair point here, we will not get better odds. Odds adjust with each bet placed on outcome. Sportsbet raised the number of bets on Djoković a lot with this promo and skewed the odds.

I wanted to prove my theory by checking the odds on Stake which uses same odds provider (same odds) and they have 1.67 on Djoković. Actually I just checked the odds and Stake has much better odds on everybody. There is something wrong with this and I'll ask them on live support. As it stands nobody would place a bet on outright on Sportsbet, there must be some mistake here or really big margin cause of the promo.

Usualy odds comparison is in small favor of Stake, but then you turn that boost and Sportsbet gets in the lead by some margin. At least it was like that last time I checked. This will make me check again. Hell FAA pays double on Stake

Anyway, if you fancy outrighs, always look at Fairlay. It's still 1.9 Djoko, and yeah, Berrettini was over 6/1 on Sportsbet when I put my Novak bet on there (which was very low too maybe 1.35?), so those 2 selections very poor value on SB.

If you're one of those guys who likes to inflict self-harm with longshots, always go Fairlay -- they serve up a big boost on odds over 10/1 usually. Against my better judgment, I put something like $2 on Tsitsipas... but he'll go bye bye early.

I would see it as absolutely normal if there was an odd like this only for Djokovic. However as you said there is a really serious difference here for every player. Before making this post I also checked a few gambling websites. By the way this situation is like this only for the Wimbledon. For example, Sportsbet's odds are very close to Stake.com's for the US Open. In fact Sportsbet's odds are better. I think that there is a mistake. I hope we can see these odds at a normal level again.
