why do i feel one of these new accounts are about to pm me and tell me i've been left a fortune from my uncle that died that i never knew i had?

it doesn't matter the account age, what matter is the point these accounts make.
You must understand that community carries the coins as well. bitcoin itself was a mess at lunch. some of this shit coins did better then bitcoin at launch.
if recall correctly , the respect the coin got was related to the dev's experience but mostly how promising it would be for such coins to be added on an exchange. No one would take a coins serious if there was any signs that the exchanges will not accept them. Being offered a spot in the exchange was a bragging right. I feel like the exchanges also had a good role on stopping a bad coin from moving forward, but now with all this small exchanges , any coin can still be traded. some even at lunch. So of course , having an garantied spot in an small exchange ,they emphasized the pump and dump. Every day a new exchange is coming out.
I believe forcing new launches to have a check list and regulating the entrance on the exchanges could simmer down the pump and dumps.
Lets be realistic too. There will never be a method to stop scammers from scamming.

I think what BCX is getting at is that there are a lot of accounts coming into this thread posting about how it looks suspicious that some of the previous crop of coin creators are rallying against some of the current crop of coins. To them, and others, it sounds like you 'want to take out the competition.' By eliminating some of the coins that you have created, and putting Memecoin near the top of that list, those protesters I mentioned in the previous sentence have their argument swept out from beneath them. That, and BCX probably just likes enthusiastically mining coins. Nah he just likes trolling |
