lmao my location is also listed in my profile  Grin, many here have my address and have meet up locally lol

Are you going to take part in a hashing pool intended to destroy a coin that has value and a lot of people are holding?

Cross my heart I won't take part in destroying anything of "value" Wink

If a coin is being exchanged in public exchanges it's easy to see it has value, and what the value is.

Dont forget silicon valley coin, which is a 50% premine airdrop scam as well.

i get the feeling all these scams are perpetrated by one large group. the presence of a certain poster in this thread(no not u muddafudda or u BCX) all but confirms that suspicion.

You guys are bagholders because the consistently illegitimate and childish way you handle issues has made bitcoin unacceptable to the general public.

That is all.

they are no different than you guys

that's what you are missing, if anything you are worse because on top of it all you are trying to control a market with force, that is the greatest social crime

I came here to explore cryptocurrency, but am not getting a very nice impression of the technical and social ability of the bitcoin community in this thread, my impression of the altcoin community on the other hand leads me to believe there is something of value there

just a noob observation

The only real argument that has been put put forward by "operation shitcoins" is that they wish to leverage social prominence to control a market

So they need an enemy

This is the same way society at large reacts when their interests are put under pressure. instead of doing something constructive or creative, they try to take the shortest route from point a to point b, which always requires force.

Good point. Force isn't required because the market is going to decide. People have binged on crap coins for the last few weeks. The market will have an upset stomach soon enough.  Grin

I really love this idea, and the people attacking it have to understand this is perfectly legitimate. When you create decentralised currencies, alls fair on either side of the fence, and so this is simply the market at work.

The market is oversaturated. So many crapcoins sharing BTC between them that every coin suffers because of it. The real reason alts are going down isn't because Bitcoin is going down. Sure there's a correlation, but it's much worse than that. There are just way too many tradable altcoins, and there's only so much Bitcoin to spread between them.

If a coin has legitimately strong support, what does it have to worry about?
