ah, the old "throw out a few big historical names" card.
What's my excuse for what?
What is your excuse for wanting shity 50% premine pump&dump scams online.
What is your excuse for wanting shity 50% premine pump&dump scamdevs promoted..

What i see here is a free market opportunity.
I see the people rising up against the premine cancer, so yeah, kill those coins.

edit: on the shitlist Grin Grin, lurk moar, its not hidden

I already said I didn't support any of that crap. I also don't support forum signatures with affiliate links. Are you honestly trying to profit? That's crazy.

Sunday morning must be a busy time for Anti ShitCoin warriors. They're probably polishing their jack boots, reviewing their list, and sewing their White Hoods before they ride on their next target.

These are exciting times to say the least!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Yes, you are confused affiliate man.  Grin

I don't believe any initiative is necessary. I also feel YOU don't get to decide. Got it. YOU don't get to decide which coins live and die.

You aren't that powerful. You're just another person in a vast community of people.

Have YOU personally advanced the Bitcoin protocol? Have you developed any White Papers that have moved the technology forward?

Unless the people leading this movement are real heavyweights who have done a lot for altcoins, I don't understand how 'THEY' get to decide which coins (and pools) live and die.

well then,
if you don't believe that any action is needed, why are you in this thread, trying to convince the people not to act against cancercoins?

Wait, now its all clear, major.
Is this your shitcoin pool?

Also social deviance and innovation are closely linked from a sociological perspective.

But that may be a little over the pay grade of many posting here.

we get it, you're edgy and self absorbed + dumb. congrats.

Not my favourite coins. All coins. This effects every single coin on the market. Not just the ones I hold. The ones you hold. The ones everyone holds. There is only so much BTC to spread between them.

Hell, I might even be holding a few crapcoins myself. But I'd rather see them dead and buried if it means the actually innovative coins, with real developers behind them, actually stand a chance of being successful.

It seems a bit hypocritical that so many people are happy with pump and dumps, yet you dare suggest taking a coin down, and somehow you're an enemy of the system. There needs to be some sense of balance, and right now the market is becoming increasingly diluted, and we're all losing out because of it.

I agree on this piece. But i think the market needs to do that. The natural selection. Not a Gorilla and some dudes spreading hate. Again, all this thing is about liberty. If we start dictating what initiative is good or bad we already lost.
Another thing should be to inform. Information is power, but also the ultimate salvation for all.
If some shitcoin erupts, and we all know about it and spread the info proving that sucks, no one will fall on it.
Thats what i think.

your argument is flawed though. half of these coins are vulnerable to the attacks we mention. by not forcing the evolution here, we're allowing more and more people to invest in these coins until they inevitable fork and the dev runs away anyway. if you want to talk about natural selection, you can't underestimate the role of the predator(hypebole but you get the point).

Excellent - you just threatened me! That didn't take long at all. Just a few posts....

So you plan on DDOS'ing me because of my posts in this thread and not even because I support ShitCoins. Cheesy

As I stated, I don't support 'ShitCoins' any more than anyone does. But realistically, how am I going to stop people from making threads and downloading open source software and creating their own currency? Why would I want to thwart people who may have a specific vision for cryptos?

Good luck with your movement!

This is me, and my wishful thinking. I do honestly hope you are ok with the attacks.

Are you finding threats in this thread? Yes, because you are profiting from those targeted coins.
Are you finding me threatening? Nope, because you are above me.

I dont even mine, major. So, this thread is even funnier to me than you might actually believe.
Go get some DDoS protection though, before you claim that you were "hacked" and all "profits disappeared", ok major?

You're welcome Grin

What exact coin are you talking about? Oh, I found it. I didn't even realize 'ProCoin' was on your list.

You realize that ProCoin has only 3 MB of hash on that pool right now. LOL. How can this be impacting the world of altcoins?

I only entered this thread because it's an open discussion group. I posted my opinion simply.

I don't believe that I'm a part of any ShitCoin movement that is destroying altcoins.

In fact, I learned many valuable lessons this week that have turned me off to 'launches' quite a bit.

but the people are the markets.
So when some people decide to go that way, well its the markets asking for shitcoins to die.

that only happens when they don't buy, not when they can't buy because a product is forced out the market by a misconceived attempt at governance

you did not search for a list at all major, admit it and save your time on this fine sunday Cheesy.
You just entered and as you said, did not read all the posts, just asked for my reasoning behind the images i posted, right?

Do yourself a favor.
From now on, refrain from posting into threads that you have not read through. It will save you time.

lurk moar, again

@mgburks77, nope you got that wrong, even when people dont buy, they still are a part of the market. Their actions keep defining the markets.

according to whom?

You guys aren't even aware of basic economic concepts. How could you possibly be any kind of authority figure?

A market is a communication network. Communication ensues when individuals exchange or don't exchange. That is a market.

Are you saying that
when you have your coins armed and ready, and waiting on [insert favorite coin here] price to drop, so that you buy cheap
you are not a part of the market?

Dude, it's really tough to read this many posts with complete accuracy. Especially with so much horse-shit in them.

Thanks for saving me time and letting me know I'm one of your targets.

ProCoin is a fledgling coin that had a 2% pre-mine with public ledger and the Dev compile all wallets before launch (including Mac.)

It's not a country coin and the dev is more of a long term developer guy. As far as I'm concerned, there are many scammier coins and launches than that one - especially in the past week.

PCN has a tiny market cap, a few pools, and a small community. How can this possibly be impacting the greater world of altcoins?

That's not the point.

A market is a communication from one segment of society to another that production must occur. Regulation interrupts that communication.

People want to buy shitcoins, the fact that they want to buy them to play "pump and dump" is utterly irrelevant.

Apparently simulating a corrupt currency market provide some value to a particular segment of the population. Sure there predators taking advantage of people but that leads to significant innovation in security, logistics etc.

CAVEAT EMPTOR exists for a reason.
