Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction?

Yes. Addicts will keep playing even in this lockdown time because they must have internet in their houses nowadays. Even if they never played online gambling before, I guess they only need a little time to learn online gambling because everything is almost the same. They won't have big difficulties and surely continue their habits to play gambling daily. As you said, even this may increase the addiction level.

But if they don't try to stop gambling for a while, they won't know when is the right time to come out of the addiction. But perhaps, they don't want to stop gambling even for just one day because we know that when someone addicted to something, he will always try to do that thing over and over again. But as we are a person who cares about that person, we can remind him to stop and come out of his addiction, and make him realize that having addiction in gambling is not good for his life.

Correct, addiction can mess around it possessor and in this case gamblers who are addicted before the lockdown will continue from where they stopped because once an addict is or will always remain addict. Some weeks ago, I stated when  my friends parent called me to caution their children about this act of gambling a whole day without a stop that the issue had gotten out of hands. These friends were actually real gamblers because we'll gamble together when the world was free from restriction.

Though, during those days we had many things that keep us busy, most especially the educational discussions but nothing of such during this lockdown, so, they tend to invest more of their energy into gambling and its having an impact in their life now because they where once addicted.

Let's be more clearer here, these guys or your so called friends aren't addict gamblers neither regular gamblers IMO. Regular gamblers either indept or partial in the gambling world are likely to be addicts.

They're not regular gamblers. Any regular gambler can bear me witness that; low budget or not these sets of individuals can go extra length to source for funds to gamble. During this lockdown, I gamble with the funds that was meant for the family. Though am able to control my urge now: this is how dangerous it is to be a regular gambler or an addict.

Second reason is They are starting to find quality time with their family.

They're not real gamblers and not addicted before the lockdown. Maybe they're just part-time gamblers.

It depends on how the gambler looks at the situation if he thinks that things are going from bad to worse he will take this opportunity to become a better person and comes out from gambling addiction, but he looks at the situation as something natural and things will eventually get better, I don't think he will think this as the time to change.

The first reason you stated is enough for them to stop their gambling addiction. We all know how important it is to save enough money because we don't know when this lockdown will end and we have to make sure that during that time we still have enough money to provide our needs. Avoiding gambling for now is necessary to make sure that we can make it until this lockdown ends.

It may works for your friend but don't get so sure that it will work for regular gamblers. I don’t think their realization gonna hold them for longtime. All i can say that current situation is just holding them back from gambling but after all get right they will get back on their business again.

Its true that due to pandemic they are suffering to manage enough funds for gambling but some gambling platforms are getting much visitors and players rather than past. Its because all most all people are spending free time at home due to following lockdown procedures on their own regions. But there are gamblers who cannot satisfy their desires because they are used to play in crowded casinos. Unfortunately, most casinos are closed because of the quarantine. Anyway, there are now gamblers who are now preferred to play online because of the convenient that they can get and also less hassle where they can play even if they are in the house.

Actually, even if the gambling platform isn't physical casino, there is a way to help fight the crisis. I've read about the thread of our fellow co bitcointalk member here, he post about freebitco.in that focuses on this site that are helping through fundraising campaign, and alloting a portion of their profit to donate to our frontliners. Even though it is a gambling site that most of the people think of negatively, there is still a light that intend to help people. In the end, we are all contributing by supporting this site by playing.
