we had ~11-12 hours with some short breaks, hashrate drops, as other nicehash user paid more for hashpower.
All in all a good run, works good on nicehash, but not the right share to solve a block.
we had a chance from 1 in 12 --> o_solo_miner has calculate it in the german section for us (sorry for german text)

Also ist bei 8 Stunden ~ 1 in 12

There was a day ckpool hit over 3EH, something like 3.6 if I recall correctly. I think it was some large miner failover as it didn't last very long.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as being guaranteed of a block. Renting that much hashrate would cost more than one block reward, so you'd have to be hoping for 2 or more blocks. The odds are always stacked against you, but that's how gambling is.

Understood, just looking at the output from solochance it suggests at 5E that statistically a block would be found in 22hours. But, much like you say it'll cost you more than that for the hash rate in the first place and the reality is that although the odds would be better nothing is guaranteed. It is litterally a flip of a coin.

Yes from my side, if we have some member, we can do it again with the same or a bit more / longer time, bute 5 EHs for 24h is so as ck sayd, than we must find more block, only one covers not our cost.

5EHs for 24h cost around 8-9 BTC at the moment
