BTC
How will I know my miner has found something?
Money appears in your wallet.

I am trying to follow the directions to set up my S9. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do so? I am not following page 1 instructions.
With regards to "enter wallet address for user name", on an S9 is that worker name?
Thanks?

You need a btc address.

pool            =  solo.ckpool.org:3333
miner name = 3NwurtiKe8GrpVdZGYEESY5N1DQqUboQWz
password    =  x

after about ten minutes you can check it here
https://solo.ckpool.org/users/3NwurtiKe8GrpVdZGYEESY5N1DQqUboQWz

BTW if you use the address above you are not mining for your self.

Do you have a btc address you control?

if you do use that address.

if you do not have an address under your control then get one.

OK. Thank you. So the "worker name" in the Antminer miner configuration page is the wallet address. I do have a BTC wallet address so I should be good.
Thanks for the help!  Cheesy

Sometimes I think about whether shares are a necessary basis. While using huge computing power, assume that the best shares last time were 20P-level shares": 676707158391, but the computing power returns to 0 when the device is rented, and after the address is changed, and The common shares of the pool are still calculated. I also tried to use G-level computing power to accumulate tiny shares, and the BS value only increased a little. The question is whether the so-called luck will come back for those who change addresses?

If you have an active miner or miners you have a chance to hit each and every single block.

but your percentage of the net work determines the odds to hit a block

the network is 380 eh or 380,000ph or 380,000,000th

So an s19 is about 100th your shot to hit each and every block is

100/380,000,000 = 1 in 3,800,000

10 s19's = 1000/380,000,000 = 1 in 380,000 shot for each and every block

so 144 blocks a day mean 1ph has a 144/380,000 = 1 in 2638 each day

It is random, but for sure, the more hashpower you own, bigger will be your chances to find a block.

If you want to see how long time you should solo mine with you current hashrate to be able to find a block with an average 100% luck, you can check this website :
