the bestshare is only logged in the pool software and varified from a btc node / miner, but the share value is not stored in the blockchain...
so no central view of this number

Thanks, Willi. I figured so for hashes submitted to pools and nodes.

If "00000000000000000002f03ad7a1dd69628c4747ea8751dc9a5497fd451a3667" with 19 leading zeroes and "00000000000000000000bdaaf8190000aac4323bd941d1095deffc36295f6512" with 20 leading zeroes are recent hashes, I wonder what the biggest/most difficult block-solving hash has been...

...like if anyone has ever hashed something with 25 or 30 or more leading zeroes !!

For example:
Block 751848 hash "00000000000000000002f03ad7a1dd69628c4747ea8751dc9a5497fd451a3667"
Block 751849 hash "00000000000000000000bdaaf8190000aac4323bd941d1095deffc36295f6512" (clearly much higher difficulty)

Check with LoyceV, he downloads all block data and get probably pull that with a single query, but anyway, despite my admiration for your interest in learning all this stuff, the question is pretty much unrelated to the current topic, in fact, most of miners couldn't care less how all of this mining stuff work, if you want detailed technical answers, just post in this section

It's kind of fun monitoring the Bitcoin network and seeing what hash got the blocks...makes me wonder, what's the BIGGEST or HIGHEST difficulty ever hashed by a miner? Is there any way to figure that out?

For example:
Block 751848 hash "00000000000000000002f03ad7a1dd69628c4747ea8751dc9a5497fd451a3667"
Block 751849 hash "00000000000000000000bdaaf8190000aac4323bd941d1095deffc36295f6512" (clearly much higher difficulty)

Also, how does one calculate the difficulty level of any particular submitted hash? i.e. What's the calculation relating the number of leading zeroes of a hash and the difficulty level of the hash?
(I've tried reading up on it and just haven't found a clear answer)

Thanks in advance and so sorry if it's a simple answer!

I think this will answer your question perfectly...

HI all. My credit card was recently the subject of fraud so I had to cancel it and am awaiting reissue. Unfortunately the hosting provider also happened to try to autopay shortly after the card was cancelled. Please don't fire up any big rentals or throw a lot of hashrate at the pool until this is resolved in case the hosting provider suspends or cancels the service before I can rectify it.

Shouldn't you have several cards? In the UK, debit cards (access to normal funds in the bank, without credit line) are free with every bank account. And credit cards can be had too. It is normal to have several bank accounts opened, with a bunch of cards. That way, one is never left on mercy of one banking institution.

I lost my phone with it, and the 2FA that went with it so I couldn't log in to even use my other credit card.
