I submitted a payment for run 16, as it showed multiple spots available but two posts later was said to be full and not to send coins. Since I had already initiated the transaction I suggested they be used for the next run. I check this morning and run 17 is full and I am not on the list. I am thinking my post might have been missed since I needed to edit the update with the template information? Anyway, can the funds I submitted be used for run 18 since this one is full?

Also on ck pool, what kind of servers specs are required to get it goin again. Willing to spin some servers up, if there is enough people interested in joining in, and if can get help from key members setting/configuring it up. If we can get commitments in asic miners and limit it to a few folks with minimum 1 PH , would that be of interest?
You need about 350PH minimum total for the variance to not kill you. You're simply not going to find them. I helped set up on the proviso it was only going to open up if it had that much and would admin it. It failed to attract enough miners. That was my last involvement with a shared pool and proved there simply isn't enough interest for more pools now, even with a minuscule or no fee. I decided to try to point some hash to it and it does not work (laurentiapool) am I doing something wrong or do I need to ask some one to mine there.

Yes you need to ask someone to mine there as you actually do need a password with your username.

Thanks Um, why look for hardware-specific info in a pool thread? For any miner that will be found in the Hardware threads dealing with that specific hardware be it Ants, Avalons, etc or the various stick miners out there. As Biffa posted, in the case of the CompacF's that would be here

first Tested the pool auto diff behavior on small miners (Block Erupter, U1 / U2 the TTBit and a power reduced S5) and it works ok. It is also working when the suggest-diff is added into the cgminer.conf file. "suggest-diff" : "2" on Blockerupter "suggest-diff" : "4" on U1/U2 "suggest-diff" : "10" on TTBit / 2Pack Gekko Use of --suggest-diff X on the comand line during starting does the same Even on S5 I added the suggest-diff line after ssh into the miner under /config cgminer.conf. But that change is not permanent and get lost after a restart of the miner, so the new pool setting is more usefull for the S Series. "suggest-diff" : "500" on a half S5 Edit: for reference add the real values Are the pools still working?

How many people are unable to get onto a solo group now? Is it enough that I should help set up another group buy of hashrate myself? I wouldn't be mining myself but obviously if a block's found I'm rewarded regardless.
Yes, I would like to work on the program too. [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

From December 20th, 2021 at 23:00 ET to December 21st, 2021 03:00 ET there will be maintenance works at the datacentre where the pool is hosted. As a result there may be downtime during this period, and I highly recommend not starting any rentals during that period.

@-ck can you please confirm after the maintenance work your pool is checked and ready for a big rental? We plan a 500 PHs rental for rearly 24h and i would only start if i have your ok from pool side.
