1. I would be more than happy to spend my btc for purchasing my underwear to paying all of my bills but that's not possible here. Without real adoption, no coin could be bright. For your info, BTC is being used in different shops too, afaik, some alts are also accepted. When crypto will have acceptance on all the shops, that will fulfill the goal of Satoshi and we expect someday it will be done.
2. I would prefer BTC at the first place. Although the scalability is an issue yet, BTC is the most decentralized currency so far. If I were to choose an altcoin, I would prefer LTC. It's another version of BTC too.
3. In my opinion, it's not buying opportunity. We had it some couple of months ago.

This time I haven't much faith upon the altcoins because of the very irregularities in the ICO and the bounty for promotion they are offering. Earlier, in the ICO I have also made some investment. But now their value is not even a dollar. The Bunny token, here I invested more than $500 but you cant imagine the value of this overall investment now is mere $1. So, the faith come to the altcoins. So, I only work for bounty for the free coin. If I get reward then happy if not get then I feel that I had nothing to lost.

For me, altcoins are the best source of investment i love, it might be tricky, soft and not flambouyant but it has immense profit if you can get it right.

Also, you need to be able to stick to the best of altcoins, and to identify the best of altcoins, you must do your research immensely, avoid clout, fud and fomos and be the best you can be for yourself.

I use altcoins for several things like buying, gambling and trading but I don't consider alts to be as worthy for long term hold as bitcoin. I don't think you can use a cryptocurrency to buy a phisically product and I will tell you why . If you send right now $30 worth of bitcoin the transaction fee will be somewhere at ~$3-4 . No one will spend $30 for a product with $3 fee.

From a good point of view the present nature of altcoins really gives concerns, many might argue it is because of the pandemic. However, answering the questions; first I don't really know when I can use cryptocurrencies to shop because in my current location there is no platform which has adopted it yet, but if I have the opportunity online I will always go for it.
Secondly, the cryptocurrencies I will choose for payment is Ethereum or Bitcoin.
Thirdly, the market looks unfavorable and therefore might still go down more, so I will wait a bit more.
Lastly, altcoins future application which will attract more users is in the area of e-commerce, just imagine a case scenario where altcoins have already being adopted into certain e-commerce platforms we would have seen that most people won't bother selling to fiat in this pandemic when they can do their shopping with altcoins.

I do have confidence in good altcoins and i am sure they will do well in future, below i will answer your questions one by one.
1) yes, shopping with crypto has already become a reality, there are many retailers that accept crypto directly other than that you can use any crypto based cards and you have many options available now. I am using crypterium card and it is as good as bank card.
2) I am holding only top serious coins so definitely i will use only them for payment like btc and eth.
3) yes, but pick your alts wisely and do not chase any shiny new coin.
4) i think eth 2.0 will emerge as a winner and dApp culture will promote.

There are many good projects out there. Our portfolio should be diversified.

1. To use cryptocurrencies at shops, I think it needs more time. Still cryptocurrencies are waiting for their wide adaption and the ways few governments think about it.

i'd be willing to pay bill or buy just about anything on a local store as long as the transaction fee cost a penny. TRX or ADA would be my best candidate for it. today these tokens are very much affordable for anyone with a hundred USD can collect it for future use, them being affordable means an opportunity to grab them while its cheaper. Have low faith on new altcoins but it doesn't mean every altcoin will fail as long as bitcoin is exists here there is a hope for altcoin users as well.For use case any crypto currency is still infant and have limited usage so if you want to use crypto for every purchase then you have to wait for atleast a decade from now.

The market was in general a downward trend for more than 2 years. In this environment, altcoin performances caused great losses from time to time. However, it does not show that all of these investments have disappeared.

I think the only problem with this is that there are too many crypto assets in the market. According to the latest data, there were over 5000 cryptos. (Except for those who died) The vast majority of these altcoins have no real function. And yet, many people in the market continue to trade them. This prevents the market from reaching its true potential.

The answer is clear. To gain faith in altcoins, you need to know the clear uses of altcoins. If these parts cannot be resolved, altcoin will die. Investors want a clear profit model.

1. I will use only a particular cryptocurrency that will cause me more comfortable, convenient, and also less cost (especially in transaction fees). In buying some shops now, it's like kinda not always a good idea to use cryptocurrency, not in all cases.
2. I will use fewer transaction fees, Bitcoin will do also especially the Lightning network that runs on the top of Bitcoin, it is amazing! I am not aware on some altcoins but there are a lot of altcoins that are fast and cheap transaction fees.

Of course... There are still a lot of decent altcoins in the industry and market currently doing well Irrespective of how the market has been reacting recently. Also, some useful projects are still currently being developed. Take for instance the ethershift ESH token that has grown from less than 5 cents to over 80cents currently in less than a month. Yes top ten altcoin holds good potential to bounce back any moment only if the value of Bitcoin raises I feel like most of the altcoin's future relies on Bitcoin. I would request you to look at it from a broader point of view wherein altcoins can't do much without any Bitcoin momentum as their value increases only when the value of Bitcoin increases, I would suggest you not to have high hopes on altcoins except Ethereum.

1. Unfortunately I can not use cryptocurrency to shop, because of a ban from the government of my country not to use cryptocurrency as a payment.
2. I will choose XRP as payment, because the transaction costs are fast and cheap.

1. We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies on the dark web. And Yes and right now. Because it will only show global adoption for bitcoin.

I think some coin you need to buy like LTC, ETH, ETC, It’s a opportunity, not for all altcoin! 2 number qna is i choose XLM because XLM have really amazing blockchain technology and i personally like it.

It takes patience in order to earn in crypto, if you dont have it then you might really end up selling your assets. To reply to your title which is a question, yes I do have confidence in altcoins but it depends on the type of altcoin, that is, I trust 90% of major altcoins while newer coins takes 10% because they are highly risky. Now to the other questions, yes I would use cryptocurrencies to shop once the possibility is there. For the cryptocurrency to use, I will go for ETH or BTC. For the market, I will wait more and the area where altcoins can attract more users will likely be in the gaming industry.

Altcoin is composed of thousands of coins aside from bitcoin so generally this cannot be addressed to individual coins

Many of the altcoins are created to act like a payment coin and most of them are dedicated to specific purpose or service. And they are also gaining relative adoption and use. In few years, people would be using altcoins for payments more than they do with bitcoin as bitcoin's fees increases. I really don't think it was purifying because in reality shitcoins won't have a way to rise but it sinks. Think a number of altcoins have dead already, this will tell something that many investors are losing their confidence with altcoins and diversifying their portfolio into stable coins or in the top coins in the CMC.

What do you mean by "not anytime soon" when it's already happening. Did you follow ESH a few weeks ago and observed how it did $0.02 to $2.4+ within a month? That bull run made so many people rich within a twinkling of an eye. Just imagine what $500 investment on ESH would've fetched those who bought in at that dip. Altcoins are not made up of just the new projects and low level wannabes. There are tons of coins that are actually quite good that you could invest for the long term. There are at least 10 coins that I would say looks ahead for a bright future and those are mainly top 10 coins minus few coins like xrp, bch, bsv and usdt (Which I think is not even an altcoin but a stablecoin).

So, there are still ton of great coins that you could invest into, just not at the low levels. Is the period for investing into something for few dollars and make thousands of dollars is over? I would probably use cryptocurrency to shop when it is available and if it will be suited to be used on the product I wish to buy because if that won't happen, then basically, I cannot use my cryptocurrencies to shop since payment option for that is not available. So for me to be able to effectively use it for shopping, I need a shop that accept cryptocurrency for payment. So adaptability is still in need on it.

This is true. A lot of people believe that the rising of ETH 2.0 can cause the pumps of altcoins in the market. First of all, the gas fees of ETH is currently high because people are currently doing too much transactions with ETH. Today, cryptocurrencies are not that bad because BTC pump up. As BTC pump up some of the altcoins also pump up but some goes down but I think it still worth perservering on the cryptocurrencies.

First of all i am not agree that altcoins market is not good but you can say just all altcoins market not so good. There are some remarkable coins in market like CUR, DOT, MKR, YFMS etc. You can easily trust on those coins.

As my country crypto are not tradable so i convert it to flat currency and never thing to stop cryptocurrency in my life.
If i choose for payment obviously BTC because BTC is unique and best ever.
For altcoin i think buying options depends on news from team or any good exchange listing like Binance.

I agree with you, alt coins look still very good in my opinion. We should not be losing face in crypto currencies, so far they are holding pretty strong in the corona crisis. I am holding my coins, not going to sell any this year.  As for bitcoins, the price is pretty much stable around $10.000-11.000 for more than a year now, I am not going to buy any new bitcoins in the near future. In my opinion there is more return to be made with alt coins than BTC for now. Personally I have more confidence into crypto currencies than in many fiat currencies.

Despite of a lot of not good altcoin projects and scammers, I still have confidence in altcoin because if you are lucky enough you will surely earn a lot from altcoin.
1. If there is a store or mall that can accept crypto to shop in our country.

Each project team is dumping their hold coins/tokens to traders and taking bitcoins from traders rather than coins. So I lost confidence in altcoin.

In my opinion, any market should not work on trust, but on sober calculation.  Of course, in any business and in any market there is a share of risk, but it must always be minimized.  If you look at altcoins in general, then of course, a certain part of them were and will be useful and promising, and it is they who will develop the cryptocurrency.  There will be many more good new altcoin projects.  In fact, cryptocurrency has just begun to develop.  The most significant discoveries are yet to come.

Well, yes but not to all altcoin. Reminders that there are good altcoins in the market like ETH and other altcoins which unexpectedly became bullish as it even surpasses bitcoin market price like the YFI coins that reach to 32K$ and that the price now is 24K$. This is more like a bull run for bitcoin. Anyway, bitcoin now is going strong and s does the other altcoins like XRP. Other altcoins had gone so bad so this is why altcoins could have a good confidence in the market but it all depend on the people behind the project and the marketing team.

i was never doubt in altcoins. even in those which was dumped in few times. even better because it is good opportunity to buy cheap tokens you choose. any buisness needs time to grow. altoins give a chance make 1000$ into 10000$

It's about getting a reliable project, yes reliable in the sense that a project that has an Active team and core product, but then again more unknown projects have fetched and made a lot of guys rich over night

Confidence is a key to become successful investing in altcoins but confidence is not enough and I always telling a lot of traders and investors to choose altcoins carefully because not all of altcoins can help them to earn huge amount of money because there are some altcoins that can lead to them to lose all of their capital. I actually trading altcoins that have potential in the market wherein I evaluate first a certain altcoins before I buy it, do not become part of the majority of the traders who are losing in the market because they are keep listening to the fake gurus in different social media platforms. I actually prefer that you should have a good background enough experience first for you to able to have confidence and also to choose right altcoins that are suitable to your strategies.

I would like to wait for moment when it will be possible to pay with cryptocurrencies for everyday purchases. It seems that CZ has announced its Binance Card. altcoins have always followed their own trajectory and this isnt always the same with BTC
so sometimes bitcoin may be mooning and altcoins may see very little positive change in price, that doesnt mean that ill lose faith in altcoins.
I analyze projects well before investing in them and after i have invested, i give it time to gain value.
So no, i havent lost faith in altcoins.
