The best thing to do is keep holding, I have some over dipped altcoins, and one is currently picking up (IRIS). Bitcoin is also a crypto so which is the best will get succeed for sure but most of the altcoins saying they are better than bitcoins are just shitcoins they just copied bitcoins and nothing else but still claims they are better than the bitcoin which is the reason why they always end up getting rekt.

Some altcoin are in green marks lately so to invest just those with potential project. I checked in Cmc there was a decrease in some altcoins, I suggest not just buying, but also researching coins that you want to buy, etherium prices also have a 2% decrease right now and it seems difficult to go to $ 400, so it's better to wait first until there is a decrease again and buy some etherium

First of all, the gas fees of ETH is currently high because people are currently doing too much transactions with ETH. Once that happens, the transactions with higher fee will be priority to go through, those with lower fees need to be in the waitlist. This is not an unusual thing even with BTC. Talking about shopping with crypto, I don't think they will accept paying by crypto (especially altcoins) in the near future, this will take a lot of time.

I don’t always use my crypto in buying at shop. There’s not too many shop or stores that accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method here in our country. that's why the advice is given is always to choose popular altcoin, like ethereum. however, the real evidence is that when the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of popular altcoin also goes up.
