Woah let's all not get to crazy here. Not a lot of other platforms we can do what we are doing. Especially the no rake and sponsored prizes. There are a few apps out there I think but I don't know the country restrictions and stuff like that.

One solution... well temporary band-aid I was mentioning earlier is using the Discord chat efialtis has created. You can use it anywhere you can play SWC and have it up as separate window. Not so much on phones, but I think I'm one of very few degenerates playing this series from their phone the odd time.

I did float them the idea in their ANN about creating a type of copper membership. They seemed receptive to the idea in their response so maybe it happens sometime.

I did a little test last night, played exactly 1 hour on the 1/2 tables (9 handed) with avg. pot being 40-45 which netted me in the end 2.56 Krill 

25/50 tables often avg around 800 or more which is 20x than the 1/2 ones. I'd say 10 days, 1 hour per day, 15k-20k chips (doable with a lot less if you can hold your ground and don't get any bad beats) for 500 Krill.

I'm exactly 393.84 krill short of being able to say "hi" at least.

I think I got around 350 krills and it won't be possible for me to make additional 150 krills anytime soon as I am only playing on weekends these days. This is surely a problem. Our Poker Series is not a competition but a community get-together and playing in such quite atmosphere appears that I am playing against bots. I may reconsider and maybe not playing in coming weeks if chat issue is not fixed (which I am 90% sure won't be fixed).

Discord is a big no for me. I play on a single screen with hot keys. Chatting on discord means I have to shift between windows repetitively and it may land me in trouble if I am typing 'A' in a Discord message and suddenly SwC window comes forward and makes a bet of all-in.

Also, I am not paying anything extra for chatting addition. This is kinda Apple level strategy. First create a problem then sell a solution for money. I can't figure out why a platform where I have bet over 0.05 BTC and never acted stupidly won't let me chat because some other fools talked rubbishy.

Same here, I hate discord and use it only when somebody twists my arm. I would be ok with using telegram but they are all just band aids. 500 krill is really too much and I am really disappointed with that move. SwC simply has to come up with solution that doesn't punish all the players because of few jerks. What if that jerks get to 500 krill? Will they raise the limit to 5000?

I was just about to answer regarding that chat thing since some may have missed another post of mine a few days ago.

Got in touch with SwC of course, trying to find some sort of solution for this problem (in my eyes it is a problem indeed) - turns out, they would not do anything (for whatever reason, I don't know really). All they said was that Krill was raised to combat trouble makers and "may return to normal soon, may not".

Not the response I was looking for...

On a different note - I am also waiting to hear back regarding those fancy hats the lucky winners ordered - they said they would be looking into it and I will post an update as soon as I have one.

So may be this is time for us to look for some other platform where we can have fun instead of these boring games. I swear to god that if this continues then this is going to be my last tournament. In the next tournament we will need to have a different platform.

In order to wipe out the trouble makers, they are risking to lose good punters. Let them decide what they will do.

please calm a bit. I´m not convinced with that 500krills too, but come on, swc is doing a lot for us in terms of sponsoring etc.
I can imagine how much work it was for efialtis & Co to find that platform, negotiate, organise everything etc.
we should be grateful to play that pokerseries and focus on the advantages! Now there is no danger to lose concentration due to gossip

that gives me a little hope that the policy will be fixed. to hear some of the regs tell it, the problem all revolves around "higherhighs" and the recent chat moderation has a lot to do with the dropping on-site traffic.

it's kinda strange that they have a trollbox at all, and it's pretty ridiculous that they apply this policy at tables just because people have been trolling in the trollbox.

it's not enough to make me stop playing the series of course, but it does make me shake my head at SwC.

I was playing quite a bit there as this happened and I think at first people were pissed as they couldn't figure out if higherhighs was a moderator or what. There was also little communication as to what was allowed once moderation began to kick in. The trollbox should have been treated differently from table chat and handled separately. It's legitimately just a spot people sit and goof around from what I can tell, and/or make loan requests. Some keep it open to look for the action call as well I imagine.
It was/is a poorly executed gong show. I appreciate the attempt to moderate their chat from whatever forms of "Hate Speech" existed but the way it's done is likely a greater negative for new players than the trollbox ever would have been.

Funny note on SWC though for the first time in a poker stream - Joe ingram podcast people were calling for him to go play PLO there.

I have had minimal interaction with higherhighs. I made a joke about them showing up to the table and people needing to be quit, they took it in stride and then were eliminated shortly after. So not much to go on there, but I watched them in the trollbox and I didn't notice anything crazy.

Points statistic from season 1 and 2 shows that anyone that has over 30 points would qualify  and after some quick check on it, it seems Bitmutiny would be the only player that would be qualify for the Grand Finale for now even if he doesnt get any points for the last 3 games.

I wish I get atleast 5 points tomorrow and some points next week. I need to get as many points as I can for the next two games ( Or I might pull some magic hand and finish in the money  ) . I might not be able to play for the 8th round so yeah last two games will be my deciding round. Last week was another bad play from me and Trofo knocked me out iirc

I wish I could give you guys some of my Krill. I have > 30k and above 500 is pretty much useless since the site changed over a while back. There used to be BIG freerolls like every week or month for people with significant krill. Huge prizes. People used to buy and sell accounts for the krill, thats how I got "imaginethat" my orig was "bitmutiny."

Finishing outside the points last Sunday was just a little faux pas and I consider only 8 spots for Grand Finale still being available.

One spot for me please   . I dont think I have chance to get top 3 on the Grand Finale but it would still be nice to book one slot for myself  . I got kicked out quite miserably on the 2nd season Grand Finale and would like to redeem myself once again on the 3rd one

I remember on last Sunday I almost forgot about the tourney since I was watching PL match. When I realized it was 15 - 20 minutes late. I logged in and saw myself on the table and while waiting for the next hand to join I saw you are all in and lost the hand before I join.

This kind of very early out is pain. You are preparing yourself for the whole week and when you are out in 15 - 20 minutes you feel fucked. I think my fastest was less than 2 minutes in my very first poker table in the season one 🤣
