Still haven't heard back and checking the tournament lobby, finalists haven't been registered either - I am on it guys, sorry for the "inconvenience"...

I have no problem even if we dont have the Grand Finale set up for this weekend. The problem is on swc and it is not on you, It seems we always gets 'ignored' most of the time. IIRC, we were supposed to be having 10k chips starting stack instead of 5k but they didnt change it.

I do know that it is either swc or no tournament for us but atleast they should be sticking to their promise. They promised to sponsor this 3rd series which means it is their responsibility to follow this up until the The Grand Finale and not making us ( actually you ) extra trouble

Agreed. So definitely don't stress or worry on it anymore. The ball is in their court, and while annoying and surprising the lack of communication is not the end of the world. I hate it when people are flaky while trying to hammer out the details but there's not much to be done about it. So crack a beer, stress work on your site, and crack 5 more 

Hell they update the SWC thread, but even then it's not consistent whether or not they do it daily which is the easiest promotion they can do for themselves here. It's how I found one of my favorite tournaments

Too bad for these little problems on SwC, I actually quite like the page and I got seriously hooked to it and then they start to mess with us with poor conversation and that 500 krill requirement for chat.

it's not just us. if you check their official thread here, or the SwC thread on the 2+2 forum, players consistently can't get reliable email support lately. there's been a lot of weird stuff happening, and i've seen some speculation that ownership has changed hands.

none of this bodes particularly well for our series going forward, but all we can do is wait and see.

SwC also confirmed we will have a 10K REAL GRAND FINALE running at the same time - this one will most likely be password-protected but I will post an update as soon as I know more!

Great news for that 10K GRAND MEGA FINALE with all the best fun our series can offer. That tournament sounds great and if only we could remove that 500 krill requirement I am quite sure there would be some epic conversations going on there. I'll try to do my part and farm that krill (missing about 200) but it is nowhere near as fun if all of us can't chat.

No Balkan Mafia for now don't worry, just me coming to make a serious dent on your alcohol and food stores if I get pissed

I am referring to the Small Final that will be played at the same time as the Grand Finale.

Every player who joined at least 5 of the 8 qualifying tournaments, will be eligible to play in the Small Final, no matter how many points they accumulated. Players that didn't finish in the money (i.e. outside Top3) in the Grand Final, will be eligible to play in the Small Final as well. You will automatically get registered for this tournament and don't have to pay an entry fee.

I also vote we let @efialtis play. That rule about having to play at least 5 tournaments sounds a bit harsh to me. It would make sense if we had a big reward but with reward on level of 10 mBTC I would let in all who played at least 3 tournaments and did not qualify for final table.

+1, that's what i've been saying from the start! it's only a 10k chip prize pool---no need to be stingy about letting people in! this one is just for fun! @efi should definitely be playing with us.

Well, Hhampuz says only Top10+ should play small final, while you suggested to let everyone play, if I understood correctly:

i still think the runner's up tourney should be open for anyone who played x number of games, like a consolation tourney. only 3 people are gonna cash in the championship after all.

But anyway, I think it's not worth making a big drama out of it in the end. Send the password to all 23 warriors and each player can decide for himself whether to join or not.
