Hello all.

I just installed the core wallet, but syncing is very slow.
Is there a way to download the blockchain without waiting for the wallet to sync? It's taking ages...

Make sure you have installed v2.13.3. I recently installed core wallet several times (due of testing with LN) but syncing took less than 2 hours for me. In the beginning it will be slow but it will go faster and faster later on. Have some patience. If it takes more than 6 hours then something is wrong.

I'm having a problem with the bitcore-lib fork found at: https://github.com/Groestlcoin/bitcore-lib

When I try to run "gulp test" I get the following error: Error: Cannot find module 'groestl-hash-js'

I'd make an issue on github but for some reason that repo doesn't allow you to make an issue...

It looks like the dependency wasn't added to the project correctly.

Thats odd that you are not able to make an issue on github.
I think i know what is the issue, can you tell me what you are trying to achieve? For example, are you trying to setup groestlsight or groestlpay?
Or do you need the bitcore-lib fork for another project like moneywagon?

I think i figured out the problem: There is a file called "npm-shrinkwrap.json" which lists all the dependencies but not groestl-hash-js, so it doesn't install that dependency. If you delete the file it'll work, or run "npm shrinkwrap" to update the file.

Yes, alternative solution: Nmp version must be 2.xx.xx and nodejs version must be v10.xx.xx:

Our current wallet is syncing faster than bootstrapping. You should have 8 connection and thats enough to get fully synced in couple of hours.

Groestlcoin is the most undervalued coin on Bittrex.

I'm sure volume will pick up.
I like their work. Bought 2 BTC as gamble ($2.x K) at 0.000016 saying to the GRS dev "Yeah pretty sure you guys are gonna make me $10k" with 0.00005 in mind.
Not sure but it hit 0.0000498 or something if I remember.

But in all seriousness, I can see it go above 0.00005.

Their work will be noticed.
I also met 1 of the devs in real life couple monhts ago. I trust them. (Yeah I'm the Viacoin developer)

Tried sgminer5-grs 5.1.1 and got 518 kH/s (0.518 Mh/s) ? With OC +150 Clock / +800 Mem.
