Very low price on Bittrex - hopefully we can bolster it up.

Indeed....

Edit: You know... big players are first mining a lot of coins to try to hold down the price, so they put sell orders, and sell orders, and people are watching a coin and are saying, it is going lower i need to sell, hurry, but those same people are buying coins too, this result for more coins for them at a lower average price and then they start pumping and they make a lot of money ...

Glad I just bought some more Tongue Large number of total coins though... lowing that would obviously increase the price

Yes, it will Cheesy, but that was how the coin was specs, when we are now lowering it already then people will complain about it, don't you think? Smiley And still if you go for a market cap of $1,000,000 then the coin will not trade at 30sats or so.

900 mil is to many, you see the prize dump? this is only on day 1..

Marketcap on 10 sat = Total:   43558.11 USD

Why is this coin 43k worth?

Prices is always based on supply and demand. When selecting 1,000,000,000 coins as number of coins we didn't think that every coin will be worth $1 or so, this coin can trade higher in the future. There is a lot of work to be done, both by DEV and community.

Reduction in total coins would send the price up... probably attract more folks too.

So what you guys already suggesting is... already modifying the coin after 1 day of launch... you know the price is not linked to the number of coins.

Below you will find a list of a few coins with more then 1,000,000,000 coins (in fact A LOT more) and they have a marketcap of $125000 or $500,000

22    Infinitecoin   $ 1,660,178   $ 0.000018   90,553,026,621 IFC   $ 5,477   +2.50 %

Yes, we will never trade at 10000sats.... but those it matter? You will never have 1,000,000 BTC too.

More folks? We have a difficulty of 50 and a network hashrate of 6,000Mh/s, i believe that is not too bad...

Some more people have turn off their miners on citizencoin, so this give better opportunities for the people with low hashrate to mine a decent amount of coins. We have taken 21 days POW just because of the reason that we know that there will be some less hashrate moments so that average people with low hashrate can mine a decent amount of coins.

Planning for next week:

1. Preparing workshop in Brussels, to discuss bitcoin and several other altcoins that include Citizencoin ofcourse.

2. Working on getting a multipool ready for Citizencoin.

3. Ungoing search for new exchanges (poloniex, mintpal, bter,...)

4. Discussing Citizencoin with a few big investors that i currently know from bitcointalks.

5. Launching World Cup 2014 Brasil (gambling).

Of the record ... I'm planning to buy a few millions if the price stay like this... I know what i can do for Citizencoin, i know that i will do my best for all investors/miners and of course including me.

A little disappointed with the very low price at the moment, but as i said, i will buy some and enjoy the new 0.1% daily interest. One day we will be on poloniex, one day we will be on mintpal... we are less then 2 days old...
