So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens?

Yes, it's very risky to invest in any new crypto coin, because most of them don't have any real use case, they are just a pump and dump coin, although it's also risky to invest in any crypto coin (even bitcoin) without doing a proper research on that  coin, you can't just throw money into something you have no idea about, most new crypto coin don't do well in the long run and alot of them never lived up to the expectations,but that's investment for you, you just have to take the risk.

Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

There was always a risk on investing on any coin or token it was for you to decide but please do deep research on the project first before putting any investment or else it will turn to scam or no profit at all, this is the best weapon you will have a research so that you will be having a profit.

People suggest doing their own research because of scam projects. Actually, I don't know how new projects will be successful but I won't suggest investing in new coins. Top exchange IEO could be right for a short time. You haven't an example in the last few years which new coin is right like Atomic wallet.

Everything is risky when it comes to investment. Risky because there are many possible ways that investors would end up scammed or victimize by a Ponzi scheme or phising site activity. Also for investing on a new coin, there is no guarantee that the coin would be profitable in the future. Many tokens would just end up priceless in long term investment.

I think any investment needs to be carefully examined and spent time researching before deciding to invest. This market has hundreds of new projects appearing every day and certainly will have up to 90% of scam projects or not worth investing.

I also do not like to choose long-term investments because the risk is great because after a short time, the project will start less news, and this makes investors feel frustrated when waiting.

well, buying top altcoin does still have very good potential than buying or investing in new altcoin which in my opinion has a high risk, so it must remain vigilant when investing or buying any type of coin cryptocurrency.

If you want to invest in new projects, then I think it is best to only invest in new projects that are IEO at large exchanges such as BInance, MXC, Gate.io, Okex ... trade and have the best projects so we can invest

You can spend a lot of time learning new coins to invest in, and still choose shit. Because we can't know how the team will behave when faced with problems on the way to development. It's always risky to invest in any-kind-of-coins. Well, I can say it is good if you know how to jump in and jump out the market at the right time. As you said, a lot of coins pumped and then dumped dramatically. Then the problem is your skills in trading. It's "safer" to invest in coins that don't pump and dump surprisingly (big coins such as BTC, ETH, BNB, etc). However, the more risks, the more profits! It's your choice!

It is not forbidden to invest in the new tokens and coins. If we ignore the new projects, then how can the new ideas come to the market? But what we should remember is that the situation in 2020 is not the same as what we had back in 2017. First and foremost, there is an extreme saturation in the market, and there is not enough room even for the currently existing projects. In simple words, the market can't support anymore coins or tokens, unless some of the less attractive ones are taken out.

Probably right. There's no exemptions, research is the very important when you are into this business.
Before investing out your money, learning the fundamentals and understand how will you manage to
properly place your bid and how to manage to exit once opportunities shows for you.

it depends on where the developer registers their new token. when listed on a large exchange I think the value will not be easy to go down. You can see the release version in binance. New projects that have trade charts that are strong and interesting.

If we can choose the right one? It's really not that easy to detect good projects most importantly when they are new coins and the reason why old coins are better is they have shown their potential already, top 20 coins are all doing very well both in development and liquidity

To me spending 100 dollars on 10 new coins means 1000 dollars risked and that's a lot, that would be over one month salary for me. However to some people that is nothing, that is play money, so they get in even bigger. So, as you can see it is something that changes from individual to individual and from amount to amount as well.

If YOU find it risky, that means it is risky to you, if I do not find it risky, that means it is not risky to me. That is the nature of risk, its changeable and that is why we can't really put a mark on any coin for being risky or not since it changes. Of course there are obvious shady or scammy looking ones, in that case that makes it risky to put in even 10 dollars but those are for obvious ones and not unsure ones.

It's true that risk level differs from person to person depending on your financial status, however even if your financial status is high, one still needs proper research before investing in new coins. Generally investing in new coins pose higher risk compared to already existing coins, but when the risk to reward ratio is ok, one can invest but with the mindset of investing what you can afford to lose.
