to be in a token / new coin actually has risk and no risk. I would be at risk if the token did not fully display the transparency of the whole project. and tokens / coins will look promising if it is listed on a trading exchange, on coinmarketcap and has a good volume it is real good for investment

I think, All types of investments have risks, the most important thing is that you can understand the investment information for profit. from here the investment risk is there, now the new coin that you use Icos or IEO? This investment is very risky if you don't see the development of the project and what the developers are planning for their coin future. Certainly high risk. if the altcoin has a low trading volume we can run a risk. especially now that there are so many problematic projects or many cases of scandals that have occurred, for example, a large project is Xrp which was scandalized by Sec. 1 year minimum to be able to see the progress of a project. nowadays so many altcoins are scam less than 1 year in stay by the team. Don't waste money investing in the wrong project. I myself don't currently invest much in new altcoins. they are fundamentally less good for us to invest in in the long run. prefer the proven top altcoins that many people invest in
