For me, investing in new cryptocurrencies is very risky, as there are many already proven coins on the market that will bring huge profits in a short time. And new cryptocurrencies are unreliable, and you will have to wait a long time to make a profit. Therefore, I believe that investing in new coins is a waste of time and money. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

risk can occur at any time, not only in investing. therefore it is necessary to remember before investing, do not be careless and rushed in doing it, we must study and analyze before taking action, if we put forward such an attitude then the risk is unlikely to occur.

Every altcoins we are investing is already risky. So it is important for us to check first the background of the altcoin/s we are going to invest withbso that we can avoid losing some of our funds. And for me, it is still better to invest in top altcoins rather than newly listed tokens or coins.

I wont advise anyone to invest in anyhow new coins or tokens especially if you are a newbie in the crypto currency world... its always better to make your own research about a project and check wether the new project has a working product which is always good because the product would support the d price of the token later on in the future

investing in crypto is always risky, there is no guarantee your money will be safe. but it depends on the coin you want to invest in. if you choose the top coins, especially in the top 10 list on CMC, at least you can minimize the risk of loss. but if you're ready to take the plunge, you can take short-term profits on the top Defi project of your choice. but a little advice not to spend all of your money on crypto investing.

Giving out your money to a group of people you haven't met before is very risky, sometimes you might get scammed doing that, so yes, it's very risky to invest your hard earned money on new projects, because they are new people who you have absolutely no idea about so before investing in any new project make you DYOR to avoid getting scammed or investing in a wack project, i think it's best you stick to potential coins that are currently on the market, the likes of bnb, eth, dot etc, if you don't have time for much research.

There is a chance to fall into the trap of fraudsters, or entrust personal data to strangers and lose all assets. Many people find that investing in new altcoin is too risky if done in the long term. As long as the market hype is good enough investor will get a decent profit but if investor decide to secure their capital then that's when the price get out of control.

all investments certainly have risks and even new coin projects have a big risk, but all altcoins on the market have risks if we don't have sufficient knowledge in analyzing the market and usually altcoins that are ranked in the top 10 will be very detrimental to us if we are too reckless to invest, for example, nowadays many people experience losses as a result of buying doge altcoins at high prices just because of elon's tweet and now the price of doge even started to drop drastically after the effect of the tweet disappeared.

I should say , yes at the moment. However, the risk can be minimized doing due diligence and own research before investing. Even if we feel everything is good about the project, more buy or sell decisions can be taken after certain time interval.

As we're not all good at our all work, all altcoins aren't good for different amounts of investors. Big investment we can't lose in new altcoins where we have so many risks. But I think we should include some new altcoins in our portfolio. So many old altcoins aren't in the top 50 list because of new altcoins. Old altcoins are replacing by new altcoins for new ideas.

I personally am not interested in investing in new coins and I stay away because of the very big risk for now, where many fraudulent projects are offered for many reasons when they have already made enough money.  invest in coins that have shown their performance, don't have to be bitcoin and ETH, take a look at cake, sfp, OGN I think the value is stable for now

Investing into new coins/tokens requires much study and patience. If you are a trader, once the token is listed on exchange you should just buy and make x2 or x3 and get out. But if you are a long term investor, you will need to wait for a while after it dips and then buy.
