Ha, I fully expected to be last after terrible round but it seems there are few of you guys in even worse shape 

Doesen't matter, still only begging, plenty of time to attack paying positions. Or more realistically, watch the difference to the top grow every week.

yeah it's still in the beginning of the season and you don't know when you will get some good rounds.
In the first round I was 11th with 7.5points behind top two rounds later I'm 2nd tied with the top on number of points.
So as long you stay close for the last 5 rounds anything can happens.
You Don't know when your luck will start to kick in.
Or you just Suck at it  and every gameweek you see the gap gets larger.
For me I was very lucky specially this gameround.
I had most of my predictions have 1 goal in them that made me get 3 correct score.
I feel that Laliga is getting fewer goals scored then the other top major leagues it could be only explained that with Messi leaving Barcelona and and the total spending in the league is far less then other leagues.

It's nice to get early starts yes, but also nice to be right at the bottom so nobody expects you to sneak back up and get yellow hats later haha. I try not to let these results get to me but it's funny being in this position when it's supposed to be the league you know the most among all the big European ones:p

So Barca got rid of the Griezmann   Time to pop open the champagne.

He is going back to Atletico so everybody is happy. Barca has money to finally register Aguero, Griezmann will again play good football and Atletico is serious contender for another title. I just don't like the rumors that Barca is looking to buy De Jong from Sevilla as replacement, have nothing against him but he is not player for Barca. Better to use some young guys and players they already have.

Now if someone would just take Pjanic & Umtiti.....

Barca got rid of their best player (quality wise, doesn't matter if he never fit in the club)...as a real madrid fan, cheers to that

Not quite just yet, it's a loan, but yeah, pleased to have another mistake off the books. I don't know though, Suarez was a sure mistake and we practically gifted Simeone the title last season. Griezmann and Suarez together I think now means they should make a proper defense of the title, I'd say should make them top favs now.

I also thought that was very strange. I think in normal times I do enjoy watching Dutch athletes play soccer but I'm still not even fully convinced by the one star we have from Ajax in our team. Koeman is Dutch himself so maybe he thinks he can squeeze out the best from his own country but I also thought this was an unneccessary buy.

Oh and I'm so happy Fati got No. 10.

Unfortunately, international break continues to screw with our games so it has been confirmed that Barca- Sevilla game is postponed due to multiple players from Sevilla playing for Argentina just day and a half before the derby.

And that should have been one of the games for our free bet challenge.

Ah, I didn't even realize Barca-Sevilla was postponed, I saw the pick available in Superbru but was looking for the match in bookmaker odds and couldn't find it. Just realized my old news feed also didn't update.

All my picks entered, I don't know how to pull myself out of the bottom but this time I went with "crowd" consensus.

Not sure if you are joking   That free bet challenge is for participants of both pools, no matter if they are playing just in one of them. Go enter your prediction. To phrase it differently, if you paid entry to one of my pools you got the right to participate in free bet challenge.

I will try to pick one game from each league every week but when we have great games in one league and shit in the other....I will opt for derby games.

I still didn't check Superbru but my answer what happens if a game gets postponed on Superbru when you locked your prediction is it going to stay locked again when they play the match I another gameweek or it resets and give you another opportunity to choose because if they play a double gameweek and a team still crammed with fixtures they tend to rotate a lot of players and that going to affect the results.

This postponment will do be of great help to Barcelona, they'll prepare very well against Bayern Munich on Tuesday for the Champions League.
It won't be an easy one, Bayern won't get things as easy as they think.
Hopefully it ends a draw, because I don't see any side taking all three points with themselves.

Yup I don't see any surprises on this rather quiet weekend, with the big games postponed, but I wonder if Iago Aspas is still fired up, if he finds his way to score again than maybe we have that upset, but then I'm not ready to go against Real especially when my league position is so bad now! I don't think La Liga will even make it to Soccer Blackjack;)

Exactly, just don't lock your pics. You gain nothing by it except option to see other people picks. For me it is much more valuable to leave it open to change in case something happens. Let's say covid enters the club and 5 first team players are out, that's gonna make you change your mind for sure.

Griezmann had not been a good fit for Barca. For Barca, his leaving is a blessing from a sporting and financial perspective. But he has moved to one of the league's fiercest rivals and if he returns to his old strength at Atletico, it will be less good for Barca. It would have been better if Griezmann would have moved to a non-La Liga club.

Time to get back to football as usual...

I don't tend to fancy the immediate week after any international break, some teams have half or almost all of their full teams playing 2-3 times, while some other teams players are have just had a long break to rest.

Villareal vs Alaves fixture have also been postponed, in addition to Barca vs Sevilla, It's just 8 games to go with for this round, and no match to really forward to for tomorrow.

Sigh, ended up not being too tough for me actually. Was having an exact score on the first game all the way till final minute injury time damn. And then redeemed with 3 points from an exact score on Atletic Bilbao.

Would still have preferred 2 close scores though, those slam points so precious.
