I'm having a different issue with the new wallet. I have a zero balance.... It's completely synced and I see all transactions but it shows zero balance... I should have 200k+....

here's one transaction:
Status: 108674 confirmations
Date: 9.5.2014 г. 14:51
From: unknown
To: 5TFUcwUjys9jv8dnWMPNTmugSPWsLxHPrY (own address)
Credit: 175504.80 WATER
Net amount: +175504.80 WATER
Transaction ID: a76a47e1394c486ea6579739deb5afaf6c0ebb2f33756a4d602f925176d47472

It's from bittrex dunno why its unknown.

edit:
checked my balance with the explorer
http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/a/5TFUcwUjys
all coins accounted for... just not showing in the wallet... still says 0.00 balance (0.00 stake 0.00 unconfirmed 0.00 WATER)

This might help - shut down the wallet, move your wallet.dat out of the roaming folder to a safe place then delete everything else in there.

Restart the wallet and allow the blockchain to download from scratch (will take a while.)

Once the wallet is synced, shut it down, replace your wallet.dat in the roaming folder then restart the wallet.

Go to the debug console (Help->Debug Window->Console) then type "checkwallet" and it will tell you if there are any mismatched coins compared with the blockchain.

If it does not say "true" then type "repairwallet" and this should retrieve any coins not showing.

repairwallet worked like a charm! thanks

I also had the same problem with the first transaction I made, the other ones seemed to work without that error.

Cannot tell why or how that happens though.

You said the pool was back up yesterday, still seems down to me today.  Have had coins stuck in unconfirmed there for I think 3 days.  Any idea what's going on with the pool or how to withdrawal coins stuck in unconfirmed?

Well the expected dump is going strong now we're back on Bittrex - I've picked up some nice cheap WATER from the fleeing fools  Smiley Still a much bigger sell order book than buy though, hopefully it will settle down soon.

As we are at last back on an exchange can Zach give us an idea of future plans please?

- What marketing and promotion is planned? To get interest back I think we need a huge effort with social media, giveaways, editorials etc to get the price back up to where it belongs (WATER was being traded at 200 plus satoshi at the beginning before all the wallet problems)

- Are Mintpal still likely to list WATER? We did win the listing vote and as I remember we were promised that they would list us as soon as the wallet was stable?

Looking quite good atm -- though it surfaced a bug in our vault processing that is throwing fits on the staking so we'll have to take a look at that asap.

Happy to report we are back online and accepting WATER at doabitofgood.com!

Our #BIT4BIT page is correctly showing 500 WATER PENDING and now RECEIVED correctly!

BTW all previous donations have been accounted for and are reflected in the transaction log <3

You can donate anonymously to the above address, or better yet, create a FREE account and then take credit for your crypto donations (which may be tax deductible).

Let us know how we can help with the promotions?  Joint Press Release?  Build up the Mac Wallet?

We're on board to GIVE:WATER ;-)

All my best,

Zach/Mindfox - an explanation please??

The wallet is working fine, the only problem is people attacking the network due to the low PoW network hashrate.

When the wallet detects an attack, it shows a checkpoint error - the checkpoint is what keeps Bittrex from sending your coins into a black hole or an attacker's wallet.

Once PoW is phased out in less than a week, the network will no longer be so easy to attack.

Please keep in mind that mining isn't there only to give people rewards - its primary function is to secure the network.  Given the extremely low hashrate of the network and the number of attacks that it has experienced, the fact that Bittrex has not yet been emptied out is a testament to Mindfox's professionalism and security-consciousness.  Too many developers opt for superficial fixes to make things seem like they're running, only to end up with the entire coin destroyed by thefts from users and exchanges.

Thanks for the insight/update, wish this had been stated when the wallet was re-enabled, would have put more consistent hash on it.

< 5000 blocks to go...

Just a quick status update on a Mac OS X Wallet...

We were able to get the build down to just ONE error and four harmless warnings in our bid to get the CWC Qt-Based wallet to build on Mac OS X 10.6 in our new coin build lab at doabitofgood.com

We're digging into the underlying issue and will report back when we have a better understanding of the root cause.

It is going to be disabled until PoW ends, which should be in about 3-4 days. The network is under too many attacks for them to keep it enabled right now.
