the difference in points for PSG is still in their favor. even though they lost a few times, they still wouldn't be swept off the top of the table. but I believe PSG will not want to repeat the 2020-2021 season. they only have 1 point difference with their challenger. and PSG finally lost in the race for the title. there are still about 10 matches, if PSG is careless, Marseille can snatch the top position of the standings from PSG.

PSG was not disqualified from the Champions League this season, but PSG was only defeated by a formidable opponent and that doesn't have to fully blame the coach even though the current coach's abuse feels unsatisfactory, but PSG players don't have to be frustrated about that because PSG can still get the Ligue1 trophy this season as usual and PSG can try their luck again in the Champions League next season.

Even if we look at the results of the previous Marseille match they were held to a draw by the weak Strasbourg team. But that match also left losses such as losing their key defender Leonardo Balerdi. But luckily in the match against Reims they were able to win and didn't concede more than 1 goal. Yeah, Reims which is middle of league table and doing amazing job they lost only five games form 28 in this season and Marseille is first team in last ten games which beat them without any doubt in limited resources and having average player's performance like this is amazing form them no chance for them to have any improvement for the higher rank but staying still into middle is also good from their coach and players hard work now in next round after break they are going to face Nantes which was also doing good in last few seasons, but now they are struggling badly and have one of the worst time with no win in last five game just 2 points which is surely worst case.

Marseille won the game and their Chilean player Alexis Sánchez performed very well because he scored both goals for Marseille while he is 34 and far from his young days but this player is shining at this age, he scored 12 goals for his team so far. The interesting thing is currently Marseille needs only seven points to reach PSG even with all the stars PSG has with the money they spent for them.

True what you say, but it should have been eliminated in the Champions League they did their best in Ligue 1 instead of making them lose enthusiasm. I still don't understand what is actually wrong from the team rich in Paris Saint Germain, the article they have everything but when in a bigger competition they cannot show their best. As of now, PSG is only focused on Ligue 1 matches, and hence their chances of winning the Ligue 1 title will increase. Because PSG has a strong squad. The strongest team in Ligue 1 is PSG. If PSG loses several times and/or loses in a row then of course, their position will not be safe and PSG cannot relax just having a gap in points like that. I'm sure almost all of his supporters think the same thing as you, even all of us here who know PSG, which has been seen as a scary club where there are lots of great players there. but it looks like having great players doesn't necessarily prove that the PSG club is a scary club, especially since the failure in the UCL and yesterday's defeat against rennes, but I believe PSG will fix that and their defeat yesterday did not change their position, in fact they will still be at the top of the standings until end of season

I'm sure almost all of his supporters think the same thing as you, even all of us here who know PSG, which has been seen as a scary club where there are lots of great players there. but it looks like having great players doesn't necessarily prove that the PSG club is a scary club, especially since the failure in the UCL and yesterday's defeat against rennes, but I believe PSG will fix that and their defeat yesterday did not change their position, in fact they will still be at the top of the standings until end of season

The truth about PSG is they just have money and nothing else. You can't just spend money and expect to get a good result, financial power is definitely important for any team but that's not all, you need to know how to spend the money and which player is good enough to get hired also the player you bough need to know how to work together and they need a good manager to help them how to get the results you expect from them, otherwise, money can't solve everything.

That doesn't really look like a big possibility though. I mean even with the loss, there is still 7 points difference and PSG has nothing else to win this season, they only have the league. This is why I believe that even though they were upset about the UCL loss and that morale drop caused them to lose this one, they will not repeat this too many times in a row and they will probably get a win.

I think it is important to focus on the fact that we are talking about a situation where it is not going to be an issue for a long time, and Marseille will not be a problem for PSG, they will just keep on winning until the season is over and get the title.

I must admit that it was a really amazing run by Reims in the league. But it lasted until facing Marseille home I'm afraid. I mean Reims had an unbeaten series of seventeen matches. It is never easy to do with an average team like Reims. If we call teams like Marseille, Monaco etc. as average then Reims are even below them technically.

However it is still up to how good the management of the team is at the same time. This young (30-year-old) manager Will Still has done a great job with the squad he has in his hands. Despite the loss against Marseille their performance was still very impressive. If Balogun didn't target the post in the final moments they could have even maintained this series now.

Olympic Marseille's performance this season has really been great and must be complimented for being an outstanding team to challenge Paris Saint Germain for the French league title. But I don't see them aa  good enough to challenge PSG for the title despite their current form.

Reims have had good conditions in the last few games, it's just that Marseille are clearly better than them.

PSG changed their coach this season. But the new coach Galtier could not improve the team. Rather, the team's performance has further deteriorated. Despite having a lot of star players on the team, PSG's performance has been disappointing. PSG's match strategy is not good. Galtier also experimented with changing PSG's formation in various important matches. As a result, PSG lost points in several matches. We may not see Galtier as PSG coach next season.
