There are a few aspects that make PSG worse in the Champions League,
1. Firstly their team is full of stars but they don't have a good matchup.  Everyone is conflicted about something.
2. They bought attacking players with huge amount of money only to win the Champions League trophy but they did not give much importance to the midfield which is one of the reasons for their elimination from the Champions League.
3. Third is Brazilian star Neymar's maximum time injury. Mainly because of these factors, PSG is not able to improve much in the Champions League. A team that has world-class strikers needs world-class midfielders. Hope PSG understood well.

PSG management has spent a lot of money on building their team. But even then their performance was not strong. PSG's coach Galtier is not experienced enough. And this is why he failed to stabilize the party. He doesn't know well how to deal with a lot of star players on the team. This is why PSG's performance was erratic. If PSG do not get an experienced coach like Zidane, their dream of winning the Champions League title will not be fulfilled.
