There is a PSG - Lyon game next time and I'm expecting to see PSG winning the game. Their previous game against each other already ended up with a win for PSG. It was a close win but this time PSG should be even more dominant. In Parc des Princes I just expect a win from them comfortably. They just can't risk their league title from now on as it is the only thing they have left.
They were caring about the Champions League the most but they are out of it already. At least they should go for the league title and secure it.

To win the league I believe they will be able to do it, right now they are still leading the table by 7 points from second place. In Ligue 1, the distance of just 7 points is a wide distance, especially since the one with that distance is the strongest team in Ligue 1. I don't even think any other team can catch them in the rest of this Ligue 1 match. They have been eliminated in the Champions League, and there is no reason for them not to try to take the title in Ligue 1.

I think considering how Mbappe played in the national team as well, he will come with a force. Last time that happened again, playing for France makes him fall in love with the game again somehow, or maybe that is just me, but I feel like Mbappe will be a different force again. He played so well against Netherlands and considering all the other teams will be much worse in Ligue 1, we can easily say that there aren't really any team that can stop him.
Neymar has been missing many games just as usual, he never really stayed healthy any season ever, so that is why he was missing once again and I believe that Messi can help to a point but he is not going to be the key, Mbappe will get them that title for sure.

Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi has kept aside their UEFA Champions League elimination and subsequent league match defeat to 5th placed Rennes by the side to produce scintillating performance in with their respective national team. And at the back of the rejuvenated form after the break it'll be a disaster for any team's defense to face duo after the international break and that is why I think they'll comfortably beat Lyon. They'll want to silence the critics that despite their recent drop of form, Paris Saint Germain is still the best and strongest club in France

While Mbappe and Messi have played well with their national teams, their performances against PSG have not been great. The main reason for this is PSG's poor match strategy. and weak ties between players. PSG's overall performance would have been stronger if the bond between the players had been stronger. PSG need an experienced coach. Without an experienced coach, I am not expecting a good performance from this team. Still hope PSG don't drop points against Lyon. This match is important for PSG. PSG won 1-0 in the last away match against Lyon.

Marseille - Montpellier is going to be the opening game this time. Normally Marseille should be able to win this game nicely. They are really successful in their head-to-head games as well. Besides they won in their away game against Montpellier as well therefore it would be surprising if Marseille lose points this time. This is important for Marseille too of course.

Because Marseille are trying to secure their current position at least. Because it is very important to qualify for the Champions League group stage. I expect Marseille to get a decent win.

I don't doubt Marseille in this match and believe that they will beat Montpellier later. Apart from the target of the champions league phase, there are things that are more important at the moment, namely being able to continue to cut points from PSG. On the other hand, statistically H2H Marseille is always ahead with a win over Montplier, but Marseille wins by a narrow score and in my opinion that is quite risky. Apart from that playing at home seems to be a separate motivation for Marseille to secure an additional 3 points. Marseille's victory in the previous game against Reims is also a very important asset when they face Montpellier later.

PSG must have thought about it too. and Neymar's fate I think will come this summer. and PSG will also get a proper replacement. PSG's latest rumor will sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli. he is still quite young, and would be a good fit to partner Mbappe up front.
I think there will be quite a lot of reshuffling in the PSG squad this summer. this could be the impact of their elimination from the Champions League. and it was a tremendous disappointment from the club.

Why do fans blame Messi when the team's main star is Mbappe? PSG's failure in the Champions League does not make Messi fully responsible because it was the team's fault. I don't expect PSG to qualify for the quarter-finals if the appearance of many players looks scared and loses mentally from the opposing players. A series of star players owned by PSG cannot do much if they are not supported by a strong defense and capable midfielders.

If you pay attention to that, then I believe the fans shouldn't blame Messi for the team's failure in any competition. PSG will not win the Champions League title as long as they do not have good squad depth compared to the previous season.

Talking about the leader of the standings is redundant for now.
some unfavorable results in the last 4 matches are clearly disappointing but at least with the previous victory against Ajaccio this can be a pretty good capital when facing Strasbourg.
At the moment Strasbourg is still not making the same good contribution as the previous season and this is of course a good opportunity for Monaco.

Strasbourg does not have their old good status this year.  Monaco is performing well this year.  They have to get the first 2 places to go to the champions league.  However, there is a possibility that he can take the second place.  There is a 5 point difference with Marseille.  Monaco will beat Strasbourg and wait for Marseille to lose points.

I think for the current condition they first have to focus on the match and win the maximum points because apart from Marseille there is also a lens who rediscover their rhythm.
It would be very difficult if in the end their target was too high at least now they secured the top 3 positions was a definite thing because for the honest Marseille I doubt they would be overtaken in position 2.

There has been a lot of difference between the League One teams. Like most of the teams are not getting along with the PSG team. Basically what I'm trying to say is that Ligue 1 needs to improve a lot with some teams that can compete with PSG teams so the league is going to be really solid.

This can be a bit risky to bet on Rennes however the 2.35 odd is high enough to attract people. But compared to Rennes, Lens got better results presently and the last time they faced each other Lens won the game with a 2-1 result while both teams were at the same level but I think Lens could even score more goals. Also, both teams are in the same situation in the league and Lens got a bit better. A safe bet can be Lens, but since the odds are high for Rennes, we can consider betting on Rennes as a risky option.

They won't have any issues finding players to replace Neymar and Messi for as long as the new "financial sustainability" concept isn't introduced and definitely enforced. Money can buy everything. But they will have an issue publicly I guess. Messi leaving the club is a loss in many regards besides just sports. But I agree with you that that could start a chain of bad events for PSG. Mbappe is probably not going to stay when Neymar and Messi leave. He scored again two goals for the French national team and all eyes are on him. He should understand that PSG is not going to turn him into the global superstar he could actually be. In my opinion he needs to play for another club as soon as possible.

But they have enough money and enough investment in their teams, but the question is is this possible for the owner of PSG to spend more money while they didn't get good results? I mean since they spend money at the beginning of the season and they failed in the champions league and there is not enough gap for them in French League, there is the possibility for the owners to stop spending huge amounts of money on them, Also finding a player to replace with Messi is a pain for any team even if they have enough money.

The owners won't stop spending money as there is more to owning a club than winning the Champions League. They want to establish themselves in Europe and beyond as a reputable brand and after all they make tons of money from merchandise as well, so it doesn't hit them as hard as one would think. But every dollar they spent is an investment for them in several ways. Winning the Champions League would be great not because of the prize money, but because of the public recognition that PSG would gain as a global brand and as a club in the hands of the sheikhs.

I totally understand when they lose one player who has always been the main player it will be a problem for them. However, seeing the composition of the players owned by Paris Saint Germain, losing one player should not cause panic in the team. I don't understand why things like this happen to big clubs like those who have good financial ability. I mean they should have thought about this from the start of the season, they have the ability to put together a solid team be it starting players or players sitting on the bench.

Looking at their meeting record in the last 5 matches, Lens managed to beat Rennes 3 times and the other 2 matches ended in a draw, it can be concluded that Lens is better than Rennes. However, this match will definitely be different, the history of the meeting cannot really be used as a benchmark for the outcome of this match. This game will be a home game for Rennes which will be an advantage for them. But Lens also has a good record, as last season they could beat Rennes at the same stadium as now. I'd be inclined to see this match going to be won by Lens, and a draw could very well happen too.

Dreams are just dreams because I'm still not sure whether it's from the start of this season or even next season because PSG's condition is still the same even though it's filled with lots of players who have big names but they don't have the criteria to win the Champions League. 2 This season even looks bad because they always get knocked out in the round of 16 which makes their big players look like nothing in the Champions League.
