The curse of a draw in the previous meeting with Lens was finally overcome by PSG by winning at home with a convincing score of 3-1. Throughout the match PSG were able to dominate with 62% possession and Lens were only able to collect 38%, PSG were so favored because they were the home team.

The difference between the two teams was clear, especially when one of the Lens players had to be sent off for getting a red card in the 19th minute. Suddenly this was an opportunity for PSG to keep pressing until Mbappe, Vitinha and Messi got their names on the scoreboard. Lens was only able to score 1 goal in this match and even then through the penalty spot. PSG are increasingly comfortable at the top of the standings with a total of 72 points and making the distance from Lens to 9 points.

PSG managed to consolidate their position after defeating Lens, possibly 9 points clear at the top of the league. I think PSG will do well in the next matches and will have the best team in League One and also secure the title.

A nice comeback win from lille team after losing the first half they managed to comeback and snatch the three points, thanks to Remy cabella and jonathan david who is on fire this season by scoring 20 goals so far and putting pressure on mbappe for that ligue 1 goalscorer trophy.

My bet was on Lille to Win the match,  I never had any doubt concerning that. The whole game was controlled by Lille, including the possessions. Initially I was confident when the game started until Sylla registered the first goal.

Because, if I consider statistics like that then Lille should also be able to score goals in the first half and can end the first half with a 1-1 draw. I agree, if we have no early REDCARD for Lens then surely result could be different because Lens is good team and having impressive run in last few weeks which give them second spot in Ligue 1 which is now in trouble because if today Marseille won their match against Troyes then surely they will clinch the second spot and this is surely going to be big setback after having impressive run for long time now they are losing their ground.

Next match is against Monaco which is also important if they want to stay here because Monaco is also having history of giving their best in last rounds, so we will have tough challenging situation between these two teams for the third spot in last few weeks.

Lille and Lyon after having the worst start of this season now having improvement which is good sign, but league needs good investment for having entertaining end and matches because most of the teams are having problem they are playing without quality players which is surely not going to help for having interesting matches.

This match was very important for Lens. Because they were fighting for PSG's title. And if PSG manages to defeat the team in this match, Lens' points gap with PSG will decrease. marseille had great success winning over troyes with a score of 3-1 and oliveira successfully scored 2 goals in that match for marseille. but today's win for monaco aas lorient is really very important for them.
