They lost to Monaco away 3-0 after that but this shouldn't mislead us. They can fight back against PSG. I expect each side to score goal(s) and I wouldn't be surprised with a draw here.

Monaco are going to play an away game against Montpellier on Friday night. Monaco are the 4th with 33 points and Montpellier are the 8th with 28 points. Montpellier have a really bad form lately (3L 2D). Monaco have a good unbeaten streak (3W 1D) on the last 4 matches. On the last 5 head-to-head matches, Monaco won 1 time, Montpellier won 2 times and 2 games ended in a draw. I think this game will be hard for both teams. In my opinion, it will end in a draw and both teams will score.

An easy-to-predict match between PSG and Brest, I'm not surprised PSG managed to beat Brest. With this victory PSG is getting closer to
the points owned by Lyon as the first position in the Ligue 1 table. Luckily Lyon drew with Rennes, so PSG and Lyon are only one point away.
It is very interesting that PSG's next match will face Angers, where Angers has proven successful in defeating favorite team several times.

Yes, it could be misleading but I don't think so, because if we look or check further then at least we will get data where Montpellier is not really good when playing at home and on the contrary, data shows Montpellier is better when playing away when compared to with Monaco. That way, I still consider it normal because the point gap is not a problem, because sometimes even weak teams still have a chance to win against strong teams, but in terms of the odds available for the match of course it will be more interesting.

I think this could be a nice chance to try our luck by betting on Montpellier double chance. I feel like Monaco will have big difficulties in this match. They have a better form when we look at the last games. But Montpellier would like to end their bad performance by this game.

Whether you watch the match or at least keep updating on the live score, this really can't be predicted that easily. Even though they differ greatly in the standings it does not guarantee that the top team will win easily against the lower team even though they are playing at home. In fact, at least Marseille's head to head is the most dominant to win and besides that, Nimes this season has been very bad when playing home and away. Maybe Marseille underestimated the opposing team so what happened was a painful defeat, the match was not over but it was already 80 minutes and Nimes was still leading 0-2.
