Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that Navas is a bad goalkeeper, I even said that in my post, he is definitely a good GK. However we are talking about something much bigger here, something about Donnaruma being much much better, this isn't about Navas being bad, this is about Donnaruma being that much better, dude could be one of the best GK of our era right now, and you are putting him in the bench for a GK that arguably worse but also factually so much older?

I would put Donnaruma in, dude left Milan for nothing because he wasn't happy there, if you keep putting him on bench here you think you get to keep him? The more you keep him on the bench the higher risk of him leaving as soon as his contract is over. They should be putting him on GK at all games except cup games and league games that are right after a UCL game which would make sense to rest him.

This would still give Navas around 15 games a season easily, whereas Donnaruma would be getting 20+ games easily as well, so it is not about if they should play or not, both should play but which games makes the most difference.

Navas and Dannarumma are both great goalkeepers. Who is the best, it is difficult to say. Pocchetinno is most at risk with how to arrange the squad. He will rotate the players. Because there are lots of talented players. Pocchetinno experienced coach. If he can properly form PSG's squad, PSG may win the Champions League.

We are getting close to the league games finally. I missed to watch Messi playing already.    This time, I really believe that we will see Messi in the starting eleven. He is not lacking match fitness anymore. We should see him with Mbappe and Neymar alongside him. This is a really deadly trio for all the teams now. I assume that PSG will focus on winning the Champions League title more than the Ligue 1 this season. Because they have a trio like Mbappe - Neymar - Messi now. As Mbappe will be leaving the team next summer most probably, maybe they won't find a this close chance to win the title later. But of course I don't mean that they will just let the Ligue 1 go.

PSG haven't won the Champions League title before, and their full attention is on winning it this season, which will probably be their first Champion League trophy. They made it to the semi-final last season, but was knocked out by Manchester City after losing their home and away match. This season will however be different because they now have a strong squad, they also lost the Ligue 1 title last season to Lille, but will fight for it this season.

Clermont Foot's performance is admirable. They have won the first two matches 2-0. In the third match, they drew 3-3, and in the last fourth match, they drew 2-2 against Metz to share the points. The team is strong. PSG will have to form a strong squad to win against them.

I too had these same feeling whether Ramos and Messi would fit in one team, and then I realised that these player’s are pro athletes and while they may have their differences off the pitch, but on the pitch they’ll play as one team. Also I’m hoping that Messi shows some magic soon because after the hype, I’m really waiting to see him perform well on the pitch.

Great question. I am curious too. Messi needs time to recover after long flight, jet lag and international matches. I think PSG will not use him in the debut squad. If Messi plays, he will start from the bench and join as a substitution.

Ramos is still struggling to recover from injury and get his fitness back. Maybe next one month, we might see them in the squad of PSG.

I don't think coach Pocchetinno will give Messi a chance to play for 90 minutes. But the coach should put Messi on the field in every match now. So that he can get a good idea about PSG's match strategy and play style. And his understanding with the players is even better. Messi is not needed in Ligue 1 matches. Pocchetino needs to give Messi, Donnarumma and Ramos once healed some time to play in the next game imo, 45 minutes should be enough for Messi and Ramos as a start, less than this their impact will be limited like the previous time with Messi and obviously that might affect them negatively since fans and everyone are expecting a lot from them. For Donnarumma, he should play full time whether vs Clermont or in CL, or else Pochettino should explain why the best goalkeeper is on the bench for this long time!

Donnarumma's performance in the Euro 2020 championship was indeed very good and he even won the best player award in the championship, but what I'm thinking now is whether Donnarumma's decision to join PSG is a good choice or not, because until now Donnarumma has not played at all and of course if conditions like that continue it is likely to damage his future career and is it possible just to earn a big salary at PSG, Donnarumma is willing to become a backup goalkeeper for Keylor Navas

I personally think that this is a bad deal from my POV but there is probably some assurance from PSG that he will play at some point to replace Navas, next season most likely. He is 22 years old and he could choose to play in all other league aside from Ligue 1, this will put a dent on his career especially if he is benched all the time

Anyway I think PSG has a chance to win all 38 matches this season without losing even once. This is pretty much expected from PSG especially with alot of top players in their squad

It is normally a good choice. Because PSG have one of the best lineups now and they are very likely to become the champions in the Champions League also this time. However, Keylor Navas is a big obstacle for him. Because he is still the main goalkeeper here. PSG don't seem very eager to change this for now. But maybe, they have some agreement with Navas and Donnarumma both. It can be like Donnarumma will start playing as of the CL games. And after that, maybe they will play in all of the games respectively. Otherwise, Donnarumma had better leave and join a team that he can find chances much more.
