Monaco have really fallen short because this was once a team that actually stood up and competed with the likes of Paris st German and this was why it's been shock to me seeing that they have failed to impress despite their reputation in the French league and also I taught they actually signed the midfield legend Paul pogba but since the signing I think I have only seen him play once for Monaco, I dont really know what's the issue and update with him, maybe it's probably injuries because his presence would have helped the situation for the club.

Monaco is a decent team, while they may have bad stretches here and there, they are still a big team and just because last five games are similar, doesn't mean they are equally strong, it depends on how you face, if a team faces five easy teams and wins three and ties two that is not achievement, people may have expected five wins, whereas if you face 5 very difficult teams and win 3 and lose two that could even be considered good.

This is why it is not about previous games, not about h2h neither, it's about the fact that Monaco is a bigger and better team and they should be able to get the win here. Doesn't mean they "will" they may, but they do look like the better team on this game when you check the squads.

PSG is winning already by 3 goals thanks to Dembele and they dominated all aspects of the game, the possession, total shots, shots on target and even corner kicks. They might not be hasty in the game at the beginning but that doesn't mean they don't want to score and keep pushing for the title. Lille is not an easy team to play but seeing that PSG was the home team and also seeing the starting lineup Luis Enrique started with I just know he meant business in this game, he started with the regular players available and replaced the missing players from the usual starting lineup. He only replaced Hakimi that's on international duty and Joao Neves that's absent due to injury.

They currently sit at the top of the standings with 2 points but Lens have one match at hand which of won they will take back their lead. I don't think Lens can keep it up till the end though but I like as they giving PSG a good fight.

I never for once had double thoughts about PSG and winning the league this season, even if PSG were in the bottom position and the gap difference between them and the team that's occupying the top spot is around 15 points, PSG was still going to win the league at the end of the season, that's how I so much trust them in the league. They are so equipped that if it happened so, they would still go top because the team is more star studded than any other team in the league. That period when they were drawing and losing, I didn't think about it because I know when it's time they would get in front of all the other teams. Yes, actually, we all predicted this. Because when we look at the quality of their squad, we expect Lens to experience some point losses after a while. For now, everything is going well. They are leading the league, one point ahead of Paris Saint-Germain. Furthermore, Paris Saint-Germain beat a tough opponent, Lille, 3-0 yesterday. According to my predictions Lens will remain at the top of Ligue 1 this week. Although PSG has overtaken Lens at the top of the standings after defeating Lille Lens still has a game in hand against Auxerre. Facing Auxerre, Lens will naturally be full of confidence after recording consecutive wins and they also boast a solid defense as evidenced by their current number of goals conceded. Furthermore, they also have better squad depth than Auxerre so they can be predicted to pose a major threat to Auxerre's defense which is often weak on away games.

Furthermore, Auxerre is currently bottom of the table and has yet to win away from home this season. Their goal-scoring record is also low, so facing Lens who boast a solid defense they will struggle to find the back of the net. Therefore, I think Lens will easily win against Auxerre and take over the top spot in the standings. For me, even though Lens is predicted not to be able to win the League 1 trophy by continuing to try to perform better every week it will be better because nothing is impossible in football. Even if PSG's squad is better if Lens continues to be consistent they can win the title.

Today, Lille must play full defense and exploit trough counterattack when facing PSG in Ligue 1 match, if tactician playing with open play I think easily for PSG scoring many goals but get difficulty if Lille play full defense and rely on counterattacks.

This is what we need, we need to make sure that things could be very different for the longest time. I know that it is not going to be that crazy for any of us, but we can definitely see this be possible and that is important.

We can't really see this being different, because at the end of the day it is not that easy but the reality is that Paris FC style smaller teams needs to defend hard and that's how they can win. Hell Mourinhos Chelsea did that to win UCL and it worked, so we can safely assume that defending hard and counter attacking is a very good method.

If you look at the head-to-head record between Monaco and Lorient, you can see that Lorient defeated Monaco a few months ago. And the score gap was also 2 goals similar to the result of their recent match before. So I personally suspect that Lorient's dominance or even victory can be predicted by anyone who looks at the head-to-head record. I think Lorient is a tough team for AS Monaco because they seem to be tough in every meeting or even every season.

So this is or Lille, after beating Marseille, they looked like they were able to do something, but they lost with Renens, they lost with PSG they lsot with Lyon in the French Cup, and with that loss with Young Boys they are on the 20th place in the Europa League!

Without too much injuries, PSG is a wonderful team and nobody has a chance to win. Hakimi wasn't there, but looking at the team, Kvara, Doue, Dembele they all played and Dembele played a wonderful game and scored two goals, one was a great banger. It is clear that PSG is playing and doing a wonderful job when they do not have players missing, the start of the season was harder because they missed so many players for so long and that is the reason why they are facing this many issues.

We have to handle all of this and need to make sure that this could be done very well. I think it is going to be clear that we are going to see this situation be a very good one, lets hope that PSG could rally back and take the top spot again.

PSG isn't alone in the title race this season. I don't know how long Lens can keep up in this race. Yesterday they won 1-0, albeit with difficulty.
PSG also beat Lille 3-0. Lens is leading by one point, but I don't know how far their squad quality can take them in the remaining matches.
PSG isn't playing as well as last year, but Lens could do what Lille did in previous years.
Lens plays very well as a team. They have a match against Marseille next week, and will Lens be able to get through that match without dropping points? I hope they do and don't lose any points on the road to the championship. I want Lens to win the championship this year.

At least PSG did what they needed to do, beating Lille was an important game and they did so very easily, a 3-0 dominant victory. Dembele played wonderful once again, and his career trajectory keeps growing exponentially.

From being the unwanted man at Barcelona, and only transferred for 50 million, to becoming Ballon D'or winner who is taking his team to treble and now to title win probably. Lens will of course try their hardest and will hope that they will get the win again, but lets see what happens.
