The benefit for teams like Marseille or Lens or even Monaco is that they are not asked to be champions.
Even fans knows that they can't beat PSG and be the first place, so for those teams the "win" is being second place and they are fighting for that. Lens is doing a great job of it so far, they were even first place for a while, but we knew that will soon end, now Lens is second place and if they keep doing a fine job they can finish second place and that would be more than enough for them.

Marseille recently eliminated from Champion League and focus for Ligue 1 but PSG still has busy schedule match by playing the playoff round match with home and away before the knock out round if success qualifying. Indeed have to play at Champion League playoff round matches, PSG has enough squad and not really problem have to play well both in Champion League and Ligue 1 currently leading first standings has 2 points left from Lens.

PSG can balance by performing well actually both competition in domestic league and champion league, I think PSG still most favorite team for winning Ligue 1 than Lens or Marseille both teams not playing in Champion League and focus for domestic league matches only.

Lens tried but you don't expect them to be at the top of the league for that long because they couldn't manage the pressure that would be coming back and forth by different teams in the league and they do not have a very strong squad to help them to maintain their position since PSG was still very good and their injured players was back to the team. Right now Lens is still regarded as a title contender they are behind PSG the best team in the league all they need to do is to sign more players to the team to help them get stronger to be able to challenge PSG in the league.

Marseille will definitely be excluded this season because I don’t know how they will be able to make it to the Champions League or win the Ligue 1 title. It’s funny, though, but the teams in this race are Lens and PSG. Even though I know Lens were not able to beat Marseille in their game, I still have hope in them that they will put more pressure on PSG, and if care is not taken, they might end up being the champions of the Ligue 1 title this season. I just don’t know why, but I don’t want to see PSG as the winners this season.

And as far as I recall, they haven't beaten PSG this season either. So, I think these two facts are enough to prove that Lens isn't worthy of breaking PSG's Ligue 1 dominance.

Was actually a very bad night for Marseille because they were supposedly playing knowing that they could not afford to lose and even if they were going to lose with their 0 goal difference they had advantage and shouldn’t have allowed themselves to concede more than a goal deficit in the night but ended up with three and the last goal by Turbin for Benfica actually eliminated them, such a bad night for the Zerbi boys who have not been convincing of recent.

As for PSG they were definitely bound to fell to champions league playoff place with their performance of recent in the champions league not that convincing and playing against a Newcastle team was definitely going to be hard for them.

But seriously this is a family route for them as they actually follow through this same route last season against some odds to be crowned champions for the first time maybe they would actually be able to do that again this season to retain their title

Lens has put up a very good fight so far, but after losing to Marseille, they have no choice but to watch Paris Saint-Germain take the lead. It's clear they've put up a great fight in the French league so far. However, in a league where Paris Saint-Germain wins the championship every year, they can do their best but they can't win. Of course, the race isn't over for Lens, but Paris Saint-Germain won't relinquish the lead to anyone now.

PSG focusing on UCL will be important for their season, back to back is a tough thing to achieve and may not happen all the time but they are looking quite possibly out there and could veyr well happen. If we can see such a thing happen then we would have done a great job and PSG would be very happy.

However, looking at teams like Arsenal or Bayern Munich, it will be very tough for PSG to win this season, they do not look like the best team at the moment and for that reason I am sure it is not going to be that easy. PSG is not the team I would bet on to win UCL right now, but to be fair to them they were looking bad last year and barely got into top 24 and still managed to win UCL so there is no way of knowing what will happen.

Paris Saint Germain focuses a lot on the Champions League because the championship is practically already won, of course nothing is certain, but it must be said that for them it is a great advantage not to have rivals at their level in the league and they can do everything they want when they go abroad.

One thing about this guy is the way they over hyped him before joining Madrid, like he will become the next Ronaldo or a better replacement, now see how they made him feel like he doesn't have anything to contribute to the team. The reason he stayed was just because of hope of making it to the main team and as a regular starter but Madrid had other plans which he wasn't included, if it was Carlo Ancelotti I think he would have given Endrick a better chance to go out and do his thing but Alonso never saw the Brazilian as a better player to work with.

The most important thing is not to make comparisons initially and always try to have a fixed point, it is useless to make comparisons with the strongest players who have ever kicked on a football field, it is useless and only serves to put pressure on the player who could then suffer.

Marseille and Lens should forget about fighting for the title because Paris-Saint-German is still in the picture, even though their performance as declined compared to what they played last season i don't think there's any team in the French League that can be able to fight to the end with Paris-Saint-German.

Paris Saint German is certainly a team that is truly the strongest in the French championship and there is no doubt about this they have shown it every year for many years, and i think that for them the main motivation is certainly that of the Champions League, and since the championship has already won it.

The problem with that is the fact that UCL is very hard to win, and most teams can't. Look at Bayern Munich, it's a similar example, they won so many times in a row, and yet they won UCL just once in the past decade, and shows that no matter how strong you are, you may not get UCL. Same with PSG, who won so many titles and just got the UCL last year, shows how hard it is.

Juventus for example, won their league ten times in a row, but failed to get UCL, so it's obvious that league and UCL are not the same. Real Madrid is unique in that way, they managed to win UCL even in some seasons where they failed to win their league, but that's just who Real Madrid is, do not expect other teams to be like that when it comes to UCL.

For any team, defending the Champions League title for two consecutive years is very difficult.

For PSG, defending the title this season has been a very difficult task in fact, I think they might even be eliminated. It's a fact that today they will be playing for qualification I would love to have many TVs to watch all the matches at the same time because everyone will be fighting for their lives. So, the only team that has managed to maintain a winning streak and defend their UCL titles is Real Madrid, led by CR7.

PSG being unable to defeat Newcastle at home was like a shocker to me sincerely, I had expected them to win that match and qualify automatically but instead they drew which has now made them to finish outside the automatic qualification zone which is sad for them because they will be playing and extra home and away games in the play offs before qualifying properly for the Round of 18, I could still remember that last season they didn't qualify directly as well. I don't want to believe that they did it on purpose because I know that every team wants to win. As for the league, they are not at the point they used to be before now by this time of the season but I'm still convinced that the will win the league. PSG has been trying to grab the top spot of the table for a long time. Lens lost points against Marseille. And PSG has used this opportunity well. PSG has been able to continue the winning streak. As a result, the top spot of the table is now in their possession.

We know that PSG is not in the great form like last season. But even then, securing the Ligue 1 title is not a very difficult task for PSG. Unexpectedly, Lens is playing very well this season. The team is fighting for the title. So PSG is under some pressure. But Enrique is an experienced coach. He will want to win the Ligue 1 title at any cost.

It is said Endrick's hat-trick is the youngest one among Brazilians who played in Europe in this century. It is really fascinating to watch him play on the recent days.  

I was expecting him to show his hunger when he signed for a team where he could find much more playing time. But this is kind of an extra strong start by him.

That is a bit different, because Ronaldo wasn't playing in Europe as young as Endrick. This makes it sound like Endrick has a potential to be better than Ronaldo. To be fair, even Ronaldo had a better potential than Ronaldo but his injuries derailed his career all his life.

Endrick is a good player there is no doubt about that, but he is not going to be some superb striker who scores 500 goals in his career, he will be good, but not superstar levels. I do not see him, at any age, be the main striker of a UCL winner team. He isn't like Haaland or Mbappe or Lewandowski or Kane, those are another level and I doubt Endrick could reach that.

In both leagues the quality and dominance of one team is far greater, making it difficult for any team to overcome their dominance due to the vastly different player quality. In Ligue 1 PSG can outsmart any team, although Lens initially exerted pressure. However, when Lens experienced unexpected circumstances, PSG regained their top spot. If the quality of the players isn't comparable, it's difficult for any team to break their dominance as there's no similarity in squad depth. The Champions League presents a much greater challenge, although PSG won the title last season, but this season has been more difficult.

It's not that they're not worthy, but rather that Lens are not yet capable of breaking PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 this season. Because not only are Lens still unable to beat PSG this season, but they also don't necessarily have a consistent winning streak until the end. So when Lens lost at Marseille last week, Lens had to accept the reality that they still have a hard fight ahead of them to stop PSG from dominating Ligue 1. This means that it won't be easy for any team to break that streak as long as they don't have the ability to surpass PSG in Ligue 1.

I think that in any case, by applying themselves well to Ligue 1 they will not be able to beat PSG who seem to be back in the plans where they deserve to be, at the top of the standings, it is clear that these players will not give up but beating Paris seems to me something really out of reach for them.
