They are such an unpredictable team this season. We see them winning by small margins in much easier games a lot.

But in this relatively more difficult game, they just put on a show! Finally a superb performance by Dembélé after a while.

Honestly, I never expected the result because of the form Paris Saint Germain was and if I'm not mistaken Marseille has more form than Paris Saint Germain but yet they defeate Marseille with a lots of goals and because of Paris Saint Germain form I doubted that they will be able to defeat Marseille but i was so shocked at the result and that is why history always matter most times because Paris Saint Germain use to win them and it is obvious they want to win the league.

Marseille hasn't been much better than PSG this season, so the loss wasn't that surprising. PSG compete with Lens not Marseille, even though PSG currently sit top of the table with a two-point lead over Lens. PSG did lose in the first leg at Marseille, but the defeat wasn't that surprising as they only conceded one goal. In the second leg, PSG secured a promising victory, scoring five goals against Marseille. PSG themselves are aware that their potential for achieve the trophy will be in jeopardy if they fail to perform consistently, as Lens could overtake them at the top of the table if they fail to win this match.

Even you may also have noticed that Ousmane Dembele was the most attacking player for the French champions against Marseille because he proved his attacking prowess by scoring in the 12th and 37th minutes against Marseille, so it seems reasonable to me Dembele will be more aggressive in the upcoming UCL play-off first leg against Monaco.

Yea, it's possible that fatigue can make PSG decline in form but not to the extent of allowing Lens to take over the top spot from them at this time of the season because it means that they have lost it. I believe Enrique Luis wouldn't alllow things to play out that way. He will have made down plans on what to do if his men gets tired. Lens will only wish PSG loses for them to go back on top.

They are still fighting. Without giving up, without getting tired, without getting discouraged, they are still battling Paris Saint-Germain for the championship. It really was an incredible victory. I personally didn't expect to see PSG win so easily in yesterday's game, but I'm a little worried that they won't play well in the next game against Rennes because they have a Champions League game afterwards, and PSG this season consistently hasn't played well when they have a Ligue 1 game followed by a Champions League game. Lens isn't giving them any rest this season, so a mistake by PSG could be costly.

Because Lens are right behind them in the league, Paris Saint-Germain have to focus on their league matches as well. They can't use their rotation squad very effectively, and when they try to, they sometimes drop points. Therefore, I think Paris Saint-Germain's matches after their Champions League tie carry the risk of dropping points.

Not being able to use the rotation squad will cause them a lot bigger trouble in the future.
They are barely in the league at the league, but they also have UCL games that they will have to play.

So unless things change drastically in the league soon, then they will have to play tired players at UCL games and that is not going to be okay at all. We are going to see things change a lot further and for that reason I really do not think that PSG is getting the UCL title this season.

I can't fully believing final score the match PSG vs Marseille over 5-0, first half season Marseille success dominance the match and defeating PSG but the second half season match how easily Marseille defeating by PSG over 5 goals and PSG success make clean sheet. Currently Marseille has good performance after defeating Lens and has opportunity to break at 2nd standings position but defeating by PSG make Marseille have dropped to 4th standings position has 10 points left from Lens.
PSG dominance in Ligue 1 still unstoppable and back to first standings position has 2 points left from Lens, upcoming week will face Rennes and looks PSG easily for securing three points.

Yes, I think PSG under Enrique knows how to keep their players from getting tired due to a busy schedule. If PSG is back at the top of the league after taking over from Lens, it will indirectly boost their confidence and they won't let any more points drop. We can see this in their impressive victory over Marseille. Many observers considered it a tight match but PSG showed they are still very strong in Ligue 1. Moreover, PSG will also face Monaco in the UCL play-offs. I don't mean to underestimate Monaco, but the frequent meetings between these two teams will make it easier for PSG to defeat Monaco easily.

Lens target this season is certainly to qualify for next season's UCL. Being in second place so far and keeping the pressure on PSG is an extraordinary achievement. And yes, it's also possible they want to play consistently while hoping PSG loses points although this is difficult, but in football nothing is impossible. but just the fact that they are there in that position and are fighting against PSG is something magical, and they deserve compliments for how they are behaving, it is very complicated to keep up with a team that has all the economic possibilities in the world and last year won practically all the matches, they are great.

Marseille is one of the big teams in the French ligue because they defeated Lens who was formerly topping the league table before PSG overthrown them but it's disappointing to see Marseille being wounded with a 5:0 defeat to PSG. Anyways i just felt like the reason why PSG was so comfortable to beat Marseille by that huge score margin is because they don't have a champions league game this week that would have made them divide their attention and possibly reserve some players ahead. PSG shouldn't have entered into a playoff round in the champions league games if they had won Newcastle in that last game of the league phase because if they had won it would have been 16 points which would have taken them to the 5th position since they have more goals difference among the other teams that have 16 points. I believe that PSG will survive the playoff round and reach the knockout stages because since they will meet Monaco, it is a sure win for them.

I saw Marseille and mistakes all over, their front line was good but not today, the defense was terrible and it seems like it was a different Marseille that came to play the return leg. 5nil is too much and that is why we can never see Marseille or any team in the Ligue 1 facing PSG and making them struggle to win home and away, no team is giving them a hard time in the league. Everything about Marseille is zero and nothing to write home about so where are the big teams that can make PSG feel the heat every season? No team in the whole of Ligue 1 and it will continue like that until maybe they ban the club PSG from playing in the Ligue 1.
As it stands, Lens are better than Monaco, Lille, Lyon and the 5nil Marseille, Lens maintained their stand on the log and they are also waiting for PSG to make one last mistake before they switch to the other side to get a win and top the league table, it seems easy but a very hard task for Lens, they should try and gather more points for now and wish for something productive happen in their favor.

Marseille is not a team that can do well, they cannot continue to do like this, they cannot score and fight for the title, that's why i keep saying that Paris Saint-Germain will have an easy life as long as these teams are around and this will continue and they will continue to win undisturbed without stopping.

Is really painful because in Ligue 1 we see these clubs are the ones to give PSG a tough time but still it doesn't last long, they just allow PSG to run away with the title every season. Marseille should see PSG as a bigger problem to them that they need to stop and now I imagined Lens as the only team to stop PSG by winning the Ligue 1 title this campaign, it will make sense to me but a shameful thing to the other so called big clubs. PSG solved the issues that comes with inconsistency, now they have almost every injured player back and ready,  this is that time of the season when they go on to do more than 8 wins in a row and win the league one competition with 10 points ahead already. I love the demolishing of Marseille, there's no better way to crush an inconsistent opponent. Result of that game might have also see the manager De zebri being sacked. He couldn't even take a full season. Finally, what I will love to see is PSG winning the Champions League competition again.
