I was very surprised  by the result of this match. PSG lost 3-1 . It was rennes home match. Even then we  expected psg  to win. But PSG's attack performed very badly today.

PSG's attack played  badly I say this because they missed several easy chances. PSG players were able to attack a lot. But they were weak in finishing in this match. PSG players had a total of 17  shots. There were also 6 on target shots. But PSG managed to score only 1 goal. On the other hand, Rennes scored 3 goals despite having 31 % ball possession. Rennes players played incredibly well today.

PSG hasn't face this level of challenge in a long time,I think it is interesting and Psg would really need to adjust because a single mishap could sink them behind lens in the table. I wouldn't have trusted lens to be a strong rival to psg this season. I didn't see that coming,my expectation was marseille but all the same,lens strong quest to end Psg dominance has made the ligue 1 truly competitive. Do you remember the 22/23 season? Those times Lens were similar to now. They looked more competitive against PSG than all the remaining teams.

wonderful like if not for the fact that the game is almost ended I wouldn't have believed Paris Saint Germain will lost this game like who could have believed such a thing, but all nice because since the day one of this 2025/2026 French ligue 1 campaign I have always rooted for a different team to lift the French ligue 1 trophy and Lens is in a very good position to do that if only they can keep them head straight and focus on what they are doing, because this lost today has kept the point difference in just two points and if Lens try to win their next game they will move to first and I hope they keep it that way.

This season PSG has been dropping points too easily and it's not a good one considering the reputation that PSG has made in this league, but this result will be a good one for lens because a win tomorrow against Paris Fc Will see Lens back to the top of the Ligue 1 table. The reason why PSG is performing anyhow they like is because league 1 is a farmers league, I believe if it is othe league like Premier league, La Liga and serie A team that is playing like this current PSG they will not even make it to top four in the league table, PSG played one of their worst performance in this game, i can’t even recognise the team whether it is the same PSG that won Champions League last season, they are so bad that a team that is not having a good performance is beating them with 3 goals.

If league have teams that are very consistency Lens will win the league title but don’t have winning mentality, Lens deserve to win the league this season because they are having one of their best season ever in the league this season, if PSG win the league at the end of the season that means league one is not a good league because it will be one of the worst team to win the league without not having a good performance in the league.

Stade Rennais is not a mediocre team after all, before they met PSG they were in the 6th position which shows that they ain't doing too bad just that their last 4 Ligue1 games has been met with bad luck just like when they went 4 consecutive draws. Stade Rennais was dangerous in their attacks so there was no way that PSG would have escaped defeat. The funny thing about this game is that Stade Rennais lost to lens last week but only to come today and win PSG just as Marseille won Lens but were defeated by PSG. Lens can now go back to the top of the table but they will have to win their opponent Paris, though even if they win Paris it will just be a point apart PSG so it's not worth celebrating except they get bigger gaps.

I initially thought they would benched some of there starters for there Champions League playoffs coming next week midweek period but they started there best and was trashed, I honestly don't know what went wrong but that result is indeed surprising atleast your bet was actualized so you have something to be grateful for.

If you try to look at it and rationalize how these kind of performances do come about in football, you wouldn’t have much trust in the game of football.

I didn’t start the game and joined up after I saw PSG to be a goal down to Rennes, I thought they would bounce right back with Dembele right there in front and instead, Rennes raised the stakes to a second goal with a good header from a corner set piece, certainly what I wasn’t hoping to see but there it was, unraveling.

Dembele quickly got a goal and brought me under the impression that they could still get something from this game only for them to concede a 3rd goal and by then, the game was over for them.

Now Lens are playing away against 15th Paris FC tomorrow. I expect Lens to win and overtake PSG, but it might not be as easy a game as it seems. Despite their low position in the table, Paris FC only lost one out of their last 5 league games and are on 3 draws in a row run.

I never saw this coming, PSG lost to a smaller side again this season, honestly I wish that Lens don't have too much lost games to continue to stay at the top. Lens have a bigger opportunity to go back as league leaders that's if they can get a win against their next opponent (Paris FC). With the pressure they came with still Rennes refused to break and this is a sign that the Ligue 1 could be having a different champion this season.
Lens might struggle in their game against Paris FC that's if they underestimate the, all I expect is for them to start pressing attack from the first half, never to give them breathing space but if the relax in this encounter, we could be seeing this game end in a draw and Lens shouldn't allow Paris FC to take the lead at any time if not it will be hard to come back.

Truly it’s shocking to see PSG perform like this, I mean how they be playing this bad it is it hard luck?….., They’re gradually turning weak. This is the same team that won the champions league last season.
This performance makes one ask lots of questions about the team, are they still fatigued or not recovered well for those coming back from injuries.
Now it’s an opportunity for Lens to take over the lead if they can win their next game…!

Just exactly how it happened, that's how... Look, football is more deeper than what y'all take it for sometimes. A team that's trying to secure a good spot for at least, the UCL will do anything in their home stadium to a defeat any team at all, let alone PSG that has an E
UEFA champions League playoff match against Monaco in a few days. You might feel like it's supposed to be different, especially since they're both from the same local league, but the UCL is a different competition, with a different structure of play.
As for Lenz taking over, that's not even possible in 2 losses as there's a big difference statically on the table.
