Lens had their hard-earned win over Toulouse on Fri, and PSG's loss extends their hopes for dethroning PSG, as they are now only 1 point behind. PSG has one more game to play than Lens, and all their remaining games look fairly easy, except the direct clash with Lens scheduled for 13th May.
Things look a bit harder for Lens. Not only do they have to beat PSG, but they also have an away game against Lyon in the last round of the season, which won't be easy.

But it's good to see PSG still having some competition at this stage of the season. It's good for entertainment and for PSG themselves, as this forces them to play at their best and prevents them from getting too sloppy.

With the way PSG is playing, and getting some bad results here and there, with few losses here and there, it's normal for Lens to have some hopes. I understand that and it does make sense and I am not saying that will change. I am just saying that we are not looking at something that would be a bit different on the long run, this is not going ot be something that would be all that complicated.

We should be realizing that if this could work well for all of us, then it should not be something that would be all that complicated. We need to consider how this could be something that would be a lot more complicated if PSG keeps losing, but aside from that, if PSG wins, then there is really nothing to talk about for this.

My believe is no matter how good or bad Paris Saint Germain might look the fact is they are winning the French Ligue 1 title, yes I'm certain of this, either one point or not the truth is Paris Saint Germain is winning it, because Lens actually had the chance to be ahead of Paris Saint Germain several times yet they kept messing it up, trust me even if it's one point difference Paris Saint Germain is definitely gonna win the league with it that's why they don't have to worry themselves about the league because it's already theirs and there's nothing any other team can do.

Luis Enrique shouldn't experiment in such a crucial match, and if his reason is to save players for the UCL match against Bayern Munich, it would be premature to make the decision as the match is still a long way off. A poor start and a very fragile defense allowed Lyon to score two goals in 20 minutes of the match, of course the goals were very surprising for PSG and made the players' mentality slightly decrease. Gonçalo Ramos's failure to convert a penalty in the 33rd minute also changed their momentum in overcoming their deficit. PSG bounce back to winning ways today after the weekend disappointing result which they lost at home against Lyon. Dropping points today again would not have been a good one for them because Lens were behind them by just one point with this win PSG now has a four point lead on the league. PSG played well today in their performance because it looked convincing to me, I think that their weekend lost were to fatigue which was due to their champions League engagement.

It’s highly likely that Paris Saint-Germain will win Ligue 1, it’s obvious they are the best team from 15 seasons. However, it’s worth noting that they will be focusing their efforts on the Champions League, and when you’ve been winning for too many years, your focus wanes, and then you end up losing to Lyon, as happened at the weekend. So keep an eye on Lens.

Lens are definitely having a strong season, but it is worth keeping expectations grounded. Being close to Paris Saint Germain F.C. in Ligue 1 is impressive, but PSG still have more depth and experience when it comes to handling title pressure over a full season. For RC Lens, the main priority should realistically be securing that top2 finish and locking in a UEFA Champions League spot. That would already be a huge achievement. Winning the league is possible, but they will need consistency plus PSG dropping points and which does not happen often enough.

Lens are trying at least they are doing what the guys we thought would do something couldn't do, staying either first position or second for almost 3 months or 4, they are the only club to mount much pressure on PSG this season but the 4-1 win wasn't enough to reduce the point gap. We know how ruthless PSG are whenever they play against weaker side, they make sure of dominating the game till the end unless their opponent comes up with something surprising. At this point I feel that it is over, nothing to be done to drag PSG down from the top spot so Lens should try again next season, they have tried and even better than Marseille and the rest of the so called big boys. For the league cup it could be theirs depending on how well they handle their opponent and if I'm to be honest they need to win it at least as compensation for their effort this season... while the league title goes to PSG.

You don't expect PSG to win all their games, you lose some and win some and that is what happened in this game. Again this game is always marked by rival so when ever these two teams are playing you should expect a tough one.

It's very true, these things happen for the simple reason that when you get used to winning everything changes, people get used to having good results, the fans simply no longer accept losing much, that's the hard price of being the best, when they fail they feel that they have disappointed them a lot even though it is something very possible and that it is totally allowed, but in football things are like that, you can't change it.

Although Strasbourg dominated the match, they struggled to score due to Nice's much more solid defense which resulted in Strasbourg's defeat. The final will be a bit more interesting because Lens will face Nice and I'm a bit optimistic about Lens because after failing to reach the top of Ligue 1, Lens can now prioritize the final as a step towards the championship. But Lens must be a little wary because Nice could spring an unexpected surprise, just like the match against Strasbourg.

What some set of people did not always understand is that it is not all matches that PSG have to win. They must lose some matches or draw some matches, no matter the kind of form they are in, because there is no player or coach that is above making mistakes. With that reason, any team may likely lose or drop points, no matter how strong they may be.What really happened in the match between PSG and Lyon was some mistakes, as you said. But know that if there are no mistakes, goals will not happen in football. So, it was mistakes that caused PSG to concede two goals, and it was also mistakes that caused Lyon to concede one goal. That is football the more players in a team make mistakes, the more they will concede.

Even in yesterday’s match that PSG won against Nantes, it was because Nantes players made some mistakes. That is the reason PSG was able to score three goals.
