It's very true, these things happen for the simple reason that when you get used to winning everything changes, people get used to having good results, the fans simply no longer accept losing much, that's the hard price of being the best, when they fail they feel that they have disappointed them a lot even though it is something very possible and that it is totally allowed, but in football things are like that, you can't change it.

Even the fans should commit themselves but eh, you can't always expect your club to win everything all the time.

And I think the reason for this is very justified as they have faced the injuries of their players in the start of the season as this unplanned situation can happen to anyone. But I think a strong team like PSG should be prepared for any unplanned situation and must have backups so that they can avoid to not be too good. So, i think the team should have to be the amazing as they were in their previous seasons because the expectations from them are settled on a high level. Personally i love the very close gap both team have behind each other, it does something for the league, for this season the league cannot be regarded as a farmer league as the contenders are now out with some really intense push to take out the known regular winners and dominators of the league out of the race, even as they have not succeeded at it yet, they still have achieved that show of relative pressure that shows the league does not entirely have a monopoly of dominance.

Lens have lost two of their last four matches. If lens had not lost in these two matches, they would have been at the top of the table. Lens have lost against Lorient and lille. If they could have  maintained their performance, Lens could have won both of these matches.

There is no doubt that Lens will continue their efforts until the end of the season. The gap in points  is not very big. I would say that which team will be the ligue 1 champions will depend on the Lens vs psg  match. The match was abandoned. It will now be played on May 14. Which team will be the champion will depend on the result  of this match.

If PSG wants to be champions, all they have to do is not lose points uselessly, and that is not a thing that they do very often, they will do fine. Lyon was a shocker I know, but how many times could that happen until the end of the season? That is not something that we are going to see that commonly and we should be considering that as a fluke.

I know that this is going to be a very close season, because Lens have done very well, and if Lens did not lose at some unexpected games, we would have seen them fighting even closer, or maybe even ahead. But PSG has that comfort of knowing that Lens is losing too, and that is why PSG is leading with one game in hand, hence why they are not really battling that hard because they know they will get it.

If PSG end up losing the league title to lens at the end of this season, it shouldn't be said that they lost because they were focusing more on the champions league, that would be a misconception because often times the French league1 has being giving PSG a lot of preference by shifting their league fixture especially when they have UCL engagements, I don't quite agree with the idea that they might be forfeiting the French ligue1 in order to secure the champions league, that is out of place considering how dominant they have been over the years.

Lens are strong this season and their performance is amazing, i still think they can't beat PSG in the domestic league race. PSG are tougher and top performing than Lens, even as they maintain their aim for the Champions League trophy, they are still capable in the competition.

Tomorrow game is against Brest, home game for Brest and they can strive for the win, more points are needed of them to stay far off the relegation zone, it is going to be a difficult game for Lens tomorrow.
