Haaland was the savior again and again, he provided two goals for Manchester City victory and brought them to the top of the standings with 2 point advantage over Arsenal, today victory also made Arsenal feel big loss because they had to lose the top of the standings to become champions.
In the first half the match was really quite fierce and Tottenham managed to dominate the game well which made the Manchester City players have to work hard, but entering the second half everything changed little where Manchester City started to dominate lot in their match.
Now only need to win 1 more match against West Ham and Manchester City to become Premier League champions for the umpteenth time and indirectly retain the title for 4 consecutive season.
Moreover, in the last match Manchester City played at home so it was clear that they had lot of advantages and in this match Manchester City are the favorites who are guaranteed to win easily.

I still don't feel Haaland is one of the most important player in the Manchester City squad, to me he's a distraction that some clubs don't really get (in terms of marking) and the game last night, Haaland did make up to 20 touches and yet some thinks he's a big game player, that's an argument for another day.
Pep is not ready to celebrate yet because they have West Ham on the last day, for now they're very close to the title while Arsenal are still going to hope on West Ham but at the same time they need to win their game against Everton which I think is going to be difficult, they're still going to get a win and we might be seeing what happened between Man City and Man UTD when Kun Agüero got the winner for the Citizens on the last day (2011-12) only that this time is going to be Arsenal winning the title this season.

Now there is only 1 match left and I also feel that Man City will indeed win the title again. Because we can't expect West Ham to beat Man City in the last match. And yeah Tottenham actually had more chances which they failed to capitalize on. And this happened because Man City's defenders were always able to block attacks well. You speak volume in my heart this is sure game for Manchester city to win straight without even dragging the game to palnaty kick, I don't under estimate West Ham but some game is always clear while predicting, if man city can't win west ham it means they are not ready to champion on this competition.

West Ham only plays quite well when facing weaker teams. Meanwhile, when facing a strong team, West Ham seemed to lose their ability. And I think in the match against Man City it is quite clear that Man City will have a chance to win quite convincingly. Because Chelsea alone could beat West Ham with a score of 5-0. So I think Man City can do it too. But if Man City fails then of course that means they will indeed have a chance of failing to win the title. But it feels like there is no doubt that Man City will win the last match. Well because they also host. And not only that, even when West Ham were the hosts, we all know that West Ham still lost like in the initial meeting of the season.

At the moment Man City are mounting much pressure which is expected considering they have everything to lose if the game end like this or they lose. Tottenham Hotspur can do better too if only they maintain their confidence and continue pressing Man City whenever they have the chance because you have to think like Man City to be able to beat them and I feel this first half will end in a draw.

Indeed, so far in the first half it seems like Manchester City doesn't look very promising to win but as far as I remember, Pep Guardiola always managed to change his playing pattern to be even better in the second half. Although indeed, I also realize that there is no complete guarantee for Manchester City to win this match. However, if I consider the winning mentality factor, then I personally still believe Manchester City is capable of getting good results.

If you manage to hold a team like Man City down to a draw in the first half, prepare for havoc and chaos in the second because they'd unleash their pent up frustrations at you and I was seriously hoping Tottenham Hotspur would have been able to hold on to their record of not being defeated at their stadium but I guess it's too much wishing.
I really see Tottenham as a club who aren't serious because I don't see how you'd be excited for a loss simply because it will ruin the chances of your North London rivals, Arsenal of their aim to win the title but I'm wondering if they don't really have anything they can fight for?
 Before the game, Ange Postecoglou was like he's not concerned for what importance the game holds for Arsenal but that they should play to win and many Gunners fans were hopeful being that City haven't won them but it looked as if the players where not buying into his vision as the game proceeded on, with them bottling their little chances and making cheap mistakes that should have been punished had City gotten the chance.
 Well, as it stands, Arsenal should accept they've lost the title cause I don't see City losing to West Ham on Sunday being that the Hammers aren't in fine form as of late.

oh cmon buddy the EPL competition doesn't require penalties for the final match because it's different from cups or competitions like the Champions League so why think too far lol.

The last match is an interesting match where it is decisive and of course it is worth seeing what the results will be like but in terms of scale then it is definitely Manchestwr City the favorite in this match even though I don't really expect them to win because it spoils the EPL a little because Manchester City always manages to win but we can't do anything because they are champions too is a worthy thing.

This shows that you don't understand Manchester City's game philosophy. First of all they scored the goal in the 51' minute, which in my opinion has nothing to do with "almost gave up". That is a solid timing for a goal and it wasn't expected, at least not from me, that Manchester City would lead 3-0 by halftime. Manchester City plays a game that makes the opponent tired over time. They force their opponents in such a high level of concentration that if they can't score early, the opponent will have a harder and harder time to defend successfully until they finally make a mistake. It reminds me of the Barcelona style back then. They never abandoned their style, calmly passing and doing tiki taka even when it was 0-0 after 89 minutes. No long balls without intent or control. Manchester City is doing the same, they keep playing and raise the pressure until the first player of the opponent is inattentive and makes the mistake.

It was a very solid win against Tottenham and nobody thought after 51 minutes that Manchester City is about to lose it.

Haaland is an important piece and helpful for Manchester City to have some other options in attacking and scoring goals. He is a pure traditional striker and it looks not logic to see Pep decided to buy Haaland. Manchester City actually operated well without any traditional striker five seasons before the last one and they won four Premier League titles. I believe Pep wanted Haaland to get title in Champions League and he got it last season.

This season looks not too impressive for Haaland even he will be a best scorer in Premier League again, because in Champions League he disappeared in important matches. I really doubt that Haaland will be able to upgrade himself a lot with skills he has so far.

On the other hand, Arsenal are in very good form. It will not be difficult for Arsenal to beat Everton. Moreover, the match is Arsenal's home match.

On the other hand, Manchester City is going to face West Ham team in the last match. Although West Ham is a strong team, the team is not in good form at the moment. Pep has finally turned the league to a farmers league and if care is not taken the league title won't change hands in the next 3 seasons to come, this has shown that no club can be like Manchester City with all they have achieved since they first got their first premier league title. Manchester United vs Newcastle

We all know Manchester United is not in the good shape because they were suffering 2 losing streak from Crystal Palace and the latest is from Arsenal and total Manchester United has unable to win the last 3 matches in Premier League and the performance of their opponent Newcastle is much better than them because Newcastle can collect 3 wins from 5 latest matches and Newcastle only get 1 loses from those matches so it's interesting to see which team would be the winner of this match

Is gonna be absolutely very interesting today and actually is gonna be difficult predicting Manchester United to win the match considering the fact that they have not been improving lately though we may likely see an unexpected result on this match because sometimes Manchester United can be very unpredictable in terms of there performance but judging based on there both performance Newcastle United has a good chance of beating Manchester United because even there last time the match turn out on there favour and besides since Newcastle United was not able to qualify for the champions League next season there main focus now will be to secure the Europa Conference league next season.

Casemiro is one of the most decorated defensive midfielders in the English Premier League. His contribution to the Manchester United squad cannot be overlooked. So he is not playing in his natural position and it might affect his performance sometimes.

While in back 2022 when Casimero arrived here from Real Madrid there were too much noise about this with he was one of the best, but sadly he fails to give his best here at the Manchester United which create too many problems for both, and now we are having reports Saudi League is interested where he can take good salary and Manchester United management are also looking for the offloading few high salaried players which will be give them some financial stability while their performance is not good in field even they are having too many big names into their squad.

Casimero is having good time in Real Madrid but here I have to be agreed about this with his actual position defensive midfielder and due to injuries here in Manchester United he was playing as central defender which not allow him for having his best and now mistake which bring defeat against Arsenal creating chaos which is surely going to laud because they are having terrible season, so many players are going to leave with he will be also in this list.

It is not like this and Manchester City have to fight to win the league title. No free lunch, no easy title for them if they don't fight. Sometimes you can feel they win a league very easily because they dominated the league but they could not have domination in the league if they did not fight.

Yes that's right. Manchester City almost had to give up first place in the match against Tottenham because in the first half Tottenham played quite well even though they entered the second half after Manchester City had a one goal lead, but Son's opportunity could not be exploited well. If this opportunity could be a goal, it is not impossible. the end result will be different. However, Ortega was also at his best, preventing Manchester City from conceding. I am willing to bet that in the last match both Arsenal and Manchester City will get three points because I am sure this is the final match for them so they will give all their energy in the last match. And in the end Manchester City will win the EPL league.

Arsenal's hopes seemed to have been dashed after Aston Villa beat Arsenal so that Manchester City could be two points ahead of Arsenal. If Arsenal can win at that time, maybe this season Arsenal will become champions of the EPL League. Manchester City beat Tottenham and automatically made Aston Villa qualify for the UCL next season. I see this as a sign of Man City's gratitude to Aston Vila.

The Man City team is great. They're at their best, with depth and talent. When serious, they're unstoppable. They must take this West Ham match seriously. West Ham had some good players and proved challenging. But City should win this game. They have the top players, management, and organisation. A winning combo, guys. Soccer is wild. Anything can happen. West Ham may be lucky, City may lose. Seen it before. It wont be easy. Never at this level. So, my prediction: Match won by City. Too excellent, too strong. It wont be easy. West Ham will fight and play spoiler. The excitement comes from that. It makes soccer the best sport in the world.

Scoring goals is also part of the game in football, I understand that he barely adds to the squad but you cannot just say he is not important for Josep Pep Guardiola.
I look at this post and I laugh always, because how can someone s at such? Maybe you should ask Pep Guardiola amf he would tell you what he thinks. Erling Haaland might not be that player like Luis Suarez and Kun Aguero but he has been a great player for Manchester City despite missing lots of chances this season.

I will not give him praises for scoring the second goal but there are things he did like closing down spaces and also tracks back  whenever
it gets hard  which you happen not to have seen. I would love to know if you play football and why would you say such?

It's hurting to see the gunners not win it this season after all of this hardwork. I'm not a fan but I can feel how disappointing missing this one would sting.
