The way some manager talk in the press conference is a bit disappointing, as a manager to make a name for yourself you need to change the mentality of the club you're handling and always stay positive, winning trophies is also the number 1 task you need to accomplish but Manchester United coach says things the way he feels without mind if his reputation is at stake. Like he doesn't even have confidence in the squad he is managing even if they are not good enough to deliver but you are there as the coach to help them from that suffering stage, to me it speaks low of him that he isn't capable of managing any club.

These managers are well trained and know how to handle the press and if you take football managers word exactly the way it is you might not actually get the message he is trying to pass. Every manager will always tell you that their squad don't have what it takes to win the trophies. In this case I think Eric Ten Hag is trying to use what is called reverse psychology on his players. And if you don't understand you might think that he's playing down the chances of his team winning trophies this season. But indirectly he is trying to ginger up the players and make them see reasons why they should up their games and prove him wrong. No manager at this early stage of the season will confidently come out openly and say his team will win trophies. The season is still long that's why he is not trying to raise the hope of the fans. What happens if he publicly say he is going to win trophies and it didn't materialize. So he is trying to keep everything on balance.

If Manchester City or Liverpool were to be the team that's facing Southampton this weekend, I'm very sure you'll have a different opinion but because it's Manchester United, there's every possibility that they'll be beaten by the Saints.

Overall Southampton's strength is not better than Manchester United but we also have to look at the current condition of both teams, Southampton who have not yet got their best performance and Manchester United who are currently slumping because of two defeats at the beginning of this season which received a lot of criticism so because of the pressure on these two teams I think it makes both of them have great ambitions to be able to win the match so it is likely that both teams will play aggressively so regardless of what happened in the previous matches but I am sure in this match there will be many goals scored so I plan to bet on over goals in this match, I think it is quite worth it.

Playing too aggressively can also be quite fatal for both of them because it could have the potential to injure players from both teams. I think the Manchester United team must play better with their current condition and not have to be too aggressive in order to win because if there is a mistake in a more aggressive condition it will also make them lose with a counterattack from Southampton. As it is now, I think man united are the most risky team for any one to even out their money cause that club is just something else and the worse part is that the whole management of the club are actually fine seeing that the dutch man is making things worse day by day because I know ten hag was due for sack with the dreadful way he played and performed with Manchester united but on the very last day he changed everyone mindset by winning the FA cup which lots of fans was happy since they took it off their city rivals.

It's easy, as a boss, assume I am, I care more about results, temporary results and plan for future. But having 2 seasons and this one is a third season, but fail to get acceptable temporary results, is bad enough to forget about any good long term plan. When belief is destroyed, a long term plan will become bad and unbelievable, the contract will be terminated.

Ten Hag must know that risk increases with time and each poor performance, and he must wake up as soon as possible for bringing good results to Manchester United boss. Yea, considering the poor performance of the club recently, no one can boldly say that Manchester United will win Southampton because they lack the tactics which they can use to win the game. Ten Hag is just claiming to be a professional coach whereas he is just an average coach with no game pattern but put the blame on the blames without accepting his own mistake.

It would be better if he accepts his incompetency of being the head coach of United so that the management can hire a professional coach to handle the job. Let it not be that this season will not end up like last season which from the beginning of the season to the end all the fans were not happy, and the club faced a lot of difficulties. It's easy to tag the Red devil's to be one of the weakest teams in the EPL at the moment, but after seeing some of its players put up a good performance in the international games...I have a feeling this could be a turning point for for the Red Devils...and by the way it's not like Southampton themselves are in such a good form that it could guarantee them that victory that is being talked about, they need to put in the work to get a goal!

He's just a coach who doesn't know how to utilize the good players on the team. I think Ten Hag is increasingly showing his selfishness. And to be honest, I was quite disappointed with what came out of his mouth regarding the condition of the Man United squad. Ten Hag even sacked Cristiano Ronaldo. I think his football knowledge is not enough for the Premier League. Manchester United's great success in recent years is almost non-existent. There is only one FA CUP and I think that is not a significant success for Manchester United. That's why I am one of the people who thinks that he should be sacked from his team.

Manchester United weren't win against Liverpool 2x times, Brighton, and Manchester City. These are big and strong teams, Southampton is a weak team, even weaker than Fulham, don't forget Manchester United won against Fulham.

You can’t blame anyone for doubting them because their inconsistency caused it upon themselves, it is now difficult to predict who Manchester United can beat and who they cannot. Somedays they will play well somedays they will not, somedays they will perform well against big teams and the next week they will perform poorly against bottom table teams so no one can be blamed for not believing in them anymore they need to be consistent with their performance if they want people to stop doubting them, at least be consistent in beating bottom table teams.

Southampton is one of the worst teams at the moment and statistically United should be able to beat them but we have seen cases in the past where Manchester United failed to pick maximum points against such teams. I also believe they can win them though I can’t place a bet on them.
