The way some manager talk in the press conference is a bit disappointing, as a manager to make a name for yourself you need to change the mentality of the club you're handling and always stay positive, winning trophies is also the number 1 task you need to accomplish but Manchester United coach says things the way he feels without mind if his reputation is at stake. How can he say the team doesn't have what it takes to win trophies? Like he doesn't even have confidence in the squad he is managing even if they are not good enough to deliver but you are there as the coach to help them from that suffering stage, to me it speaks low of him that he isn't capable of managing any club.
I agree with what Cristiano Ronaldo said, it is too poor for the manager to have that weakness and even letting the public know they can't compete for any title, which means the game against Southampton is going to be a game they're going to lose. I now see why some Manchester United players perform very well when playing for their country but awfully while playing for UTD. ETH has lost it and to me he doesn't deserve the chance to continue with the club.

  The problem is that they always slip towards the end of the season which ultimately makes them fail to win the title from Manchester City in the last 4 seasons. This season they must be able to show that they can do it even with a new coach.

Guardiola is a very good manager at playing during struggling moments, the way he messaged tho win the title last season with tons of injured and fatigued players is very impressive. Arsenal and Liverpool feel tho their face in the race, they're always very good in showing high optimism at initial moments, and their force decreases down the season.

Premier league of this season is very pregnant, I hope it delivered good, entertaining and impressive results for these teams, personally I'll be very happy if Arsenal lights the trophy for the first time in a very long time, I'm not a fan of the club, but I want some rewards for Arterta's hard works in the team.

Guardiola is Manchester City made a lot of improvements and they have a much better team compared to the last season. I think one reason for Arsenal to lose the title to Mcnshter City is Guardiola in this team otherwise they have much better players and good teamwork but that's not enough for a race with a coach like Guardiola because compared to Arteta, Guardiola is much more experienced and when Arteta was assistant coach he was working for Guardiola in Manchester City.
Now the best thing they have to do in Manchester City is to even extend the contract of Pep Guardiola and make sure they are going to have this coach for a long time.

Both Southampton and Manchester United are in desperate needs of a win in order to gain points and start climbing up the table. The 1x2 odds payout set by the bookmakers on Manchester United are looking very attractive at 1.74. Even though Manchester United are missing out a few key players due to injuries for this upcoming away match against Southampton but I think they should still be able to beat Southampton to claim a victory at the final whistle.

Southampton's best ever result against Manchester United was a draw although the last meeting at Old Trafford in 2023 also ended in a draw.
The 1.74 odds given by the bookmakers for Manchester United do not make me dare to predict it will be correct because I think the potential for another draw is still very possible.
I am more willing to bet on a draw in the 1x2 bet and under 3 considering the performance of both teams is below expectations.

With Guardiola, Manchester City began an era with solid idea on their philosophy from this coach and their transfer strategy changed entirely to support the coach too. Guardiola does not stop to upgrade himself but generally his favorite playing style does not change too much. There are improvements and Manchester City are different than Barcelona with tiki-taka 10 years ago but results are they dominated Premier League and won a first Champions League in their club history.

Though I have not come across this statement but I think with how you narrated it, he actually said that, that's to say that he is not supposed to be a coach of a club like Manchester United because he lack all it takes to manage such football club, even If he was gonna say that it shouldn't be in the public, he should actually be telling the owner of the club what he wants in other to build the club to the desired level since he failed to do that I think it is a mispriority for him, having said that I think all the blame should go to him because this statement of his has shown that he doesn't know his duty as a manager, if a manager must say things the way he thinks that's good for him, he should be optimal in his assignment as a coach, if he is this anxious to say his mind in the public which am not actually against, why can't he apply this anger to his coaching job to give his team the best coaching experience they have ever seen or had.

His utmost concern as a manager is supposed to be bringing trophies to the club and if he feels that the team he is managing can't bring such success, instead of giving silly excuses, it will be better for him to complain to the management and tell them what is needed to be done in other to achieve the success the team want.
Since it has gotten to the extent of him coming to the public to say things like this, the club should be looking for his replacement because this kind of statement can make the players to start underperforming since they are not valued by their manager and it could lead to a dressing room issues that may result to weakening the morale of the entire player and we all know the dangers accompanied with such events happening.

Once they were moving together towards one goal and Arteta remembers those times, now they are moving towards one goal but with different teams. The same can be said about Maresca and Kompany (only in a different championship) I am sure that only an ambitious and intelligent person can get into Guardiola's team, and it is logical that over time these people will want to try their hand at being a head coach.

And as we see, people who worked with Guardiola achieve success to varying degrees, this means that he is a great coach and there is something to learn from him. By the way, now they have started discussing the possible appointment of Guardiola as coach of the England national team upon the expiration of his contract with City in the summer of 2025.

For this match I think I will avoid it, MU's condition is still difficult to predict, their performance has been too bad at the beginning of this season, although on paper they have a big chance
betting on MU's victory is the same as hoping for luck.
However, I suggest if anyone wants to bet it is better to draw as you said, both teams are not too dominant in scoring goals, even Southampton in the last 3 matches has only been able to score 1 goal this season.

Ronaldo was right. He was talking about the truth. He talked about weak weak mentality of his former club

It's weird. Ten Hag, Manchester United's coach, wasn't trying to motivate his club to compete for all the important titles. He don’t even believe in his anymore. And that’s filtered down to his players.

I know ETH is being realistic, but now that he has a decent team, he should be aiming for higher target. So, it can help the players to be motivated. But, sadly, we already threw in the towel before the fight, which is really inappropriate to see that.
