I can't remember who said this to me here but i can remember it was on this same thread, this dude told me that in every week in the premier League there is always a team that will surprise us with their disappointing result and I guess he was very right with that statement because Liverpool just proved him right. I'm not a fan but I would have love them to make their 3 points even though I know that Liverpool usually get messed up at the end of the season I still wanted to see them win this assumed weak club.

It may be just a coincidence. There is no one who has the ability to know the result of the matches in every week.  
Sure, we all feel surprised with the defeat of Liverpool. We assume Liverpool will be as strong as in the previous season. Unfortunately, Liverpool could be defeated by Nottm Forest at Liverpool home.

I am sure this could not have happened in Klopp’s time but it is what it is. Klopp is gone and Arne Slot is here. It’s a hard knock to take for the manager and the team but the best decision now is to learn from their mistakes and make things right in their coming games.

Arne Slot and Klopp are different, they manage the team differently. Klopp has a lot of experience, it is normal if he understands more Liverpool. Arne Slot needs time to understand well Liverpool. But at least let the fans celebrate the match victory before they face Crystal Palace and Tottenham. And if luck shine for that those two matches, they will win again. But it will be hard for Man U to win those two matches. Crystal Palace and Tottenham are clubs that Man U need to train hard to win. Sadly it's always very challenging for Manchester United to get Victory against Tottenham but they can decide to differ this season of they try to, this is a team that should see as equals on a normal circumstance or even Manchester United if they were improving should have grown pass them but as for Crystal Palace, it just appears there's a jinx to be broken because how else will I explain that Manchester United keeps finding it difficult with a team the are supposed to be considered much superior over, may be the coach is a problem.

This time they scored the goals that were needed to win the game, but usually Manchester United has a ton of problems to convert their chances into goals. It has been like that for a long time now, not only this season but last season was the same problem. You would think that they have a deadly attack when you read all the player names on paper, but problems seem to have been far more challenging than that. Anyway, everyone in the team probably knew that if they lose this one, they are literally in the midst of relegation competition.

The next game will be away from home against Crystal Palace and they could finally be able to start a small winning streak if they take that one home as well. Afterwards they are going to face Tottenham and that would lead them into the right direction if they are able to win that game at Old Trafford. It would definitely secure the job for Ten Hag for quite a while I suppose.

Honestly Arsenal side with a lot of injure first team players out with Declan Rice missing in action yet secured their 3 maximum points at White Hart Lane deserves  some commendation, Tottenham Hotspur took most of the possession press hard with some goal scoring chances but Arsenal stood their ground and defended very well with much credit to Raya their goalkeeper who kept a clean sheet as well as put up some brilliant saves, It was indeed a hotly and keenly contested match synonymous with derby matches at the end Arsenal was able to win the match.

Arsenal's performance in this match deserves appreciation because in this match Spurs appeared with full strength but could not beat Arsenal who were experiencing serious injuries. Although in this match Tottenham managed to dominate the game but could not score a goal, Tottenham does not have a striker like Kanne, Tottenham usually has a deadly striker who can score 25 goals per season. On the other hand, what made Tottenham unable to score a goal was because Arsenal had a pretty great goalkeeper in this match. Glad to see Raya able to keep a clean sheet on his birthday, a great victory for Arsenal.

Arsenal's current midfielders and defenders are also very good, but what Arsenal needs now is a killer, I mean a finisher, a number 9 player who can score goals. Because if Arsenal does not have a striker like Man City currently has, they will have difficulty competing with Man City.

Why should there fans be so happy just because they won against Southampton, they should be ashamed of themselves that their performance have dropped so low, Manchester United which we know to be competing with top clubs before are the one’s winning weak teams and they are happy, seriously that’s really a bad.

Although Man United's victory when they beat Southampton is not an extraordinary thing considering that Southampton is a weak team. Because even Southampton is one of the teams that continues to experience defeats at the start of this season. But still, I understand the excitement of Man United fans because their team managed to collect full points in this match. It's okay to be critical against Manchester United because of how poor their performances are right now, but hey, a win is a win. Now they got away with a great performance against Southampton, and you can call them Minnow Bashers if you would like, but again, let the fans be happy man, days like these were rare in the life of a Manchester United fan.

Their next premier league match will be against crystal palace, let’s see how they are going to perform in the match, crystal palace performance have been so poor, they haven’t been able to win any match this season, let’s see how Manchester United are going to struggle to win them in the match.

Their next obstacle in the league would be an underperforming Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, who have found themselves in an unexpected scenario, one that's not so common. It's a massive three points for arsenal and I think it was really deserving, though it's actually true, just as you rightfully pointed out that most football fans including me never expected arsenal to win this game because most of their key players are injured, I expected it to end in a draw, since it's a very strong away game, so for arsenal to be able to get the desired three points, I believe that they have the resilient needed as a team to go all the way in their quest to win the English premier league.

Then as for consistency, I wouldn't be that sure but it's still early days, but what I have seen so far in this arsenal team shows that they have all it takes to go all the way till the final day, but with time the picture will be much more clearer.

Then as for the 2- 1 victory of Newcastle united over wolves, it was actually a fascinating encounter between those two teams no doubt, but at the end of the day, it was Newcastle united that won, which is very promising compared to how they started the season last year.

The win may give some optimism, but it was a win against a team that had yet to pick up a point, so the joy of the win should be tempered. It was good that Rashford scored and ended his goalless run, and it was also good that De Ligt felt more confident and showed the performance that ten Hag expected from him when he invited him to the team. You know Pep Guardiola already talked about Newcastle in one of his press conference earlier this season. He said Newcastle will be one of the strongest team to contend with this season, because they are not playing any European football. They will have enough time to rest as they will be playing just once every weekend. So I'm not really surprised that Newcastle is already in the 3rd position in the league standing. As for Tottenham I don't have anything to answer them, a Team like Tottenham can never rise up to occasion and do what they are expected to do in big matches. I really wonder how their fans use to cope with many disappointments in big matches year after year. Arsenal have lots to absentees due to injuries, yet Tottenham Hotspur failed to capitalise on that. That's why North London derby is not always hyped as every other derbies in premier league. Because Arsenal will always defeat Tottenham Hotspur at anywhere. What a vital win for Arsenal all 3 points taken just like that.

The match just ended, with goal scores still remaining as it was in victory in to Nottingham Forest, despite the good play made by Liverpool today, as this is literally going to be the first time Nottingham Forest is winning Liverpool while playing from Home, which is quite impressive.

The commentators were telling that this was a win after 55 years. They were picking a good day when I had over $400 placed in the match and lost LOL.

I guess this happened to lots of us here, it's quiet a shame I have to loss so money because of Liverpool falling to win Nottingham. I had several matches combined, all came successful but Liverpool had to be the one game that have to surprise us for the weekend with their excellent loss against Nottingham,called it excellent because it was a good news for Nottingham Forest.

A lot of people cried for it, I know some persons who where lucky with all their picks except that of Liverpool. Even on socials we can see the disappointment on gamblers as that looked as one of the most easiest fixture for Liverpool to win, we all expected the win with 2 to 3 goals margin but then due to unknown causes how they managed not to win, even a draw fixture should have to be preferable than loosing all three points.

The Liverpool we watched during the preseason should not have to be different from what we see now, winning Arsenal, Manchester United and Sevilla during pre season games then when it happens to be on the EPL run, ends up loosing to Nottingham Forest. I would not want to see myself making it look like a big deal because definitely big teams do lose but Liverpool really had to win this fixture to have leveled up against Manchester City on how it has earlier been some past seasons.

After Liverpool's defeat yesterday I am pessimistic and expect Arsenal to lose points too, it will probably be a dull season where City will dominate again (and Haaland will score 70 goals haha). I won't bet but I think Tottenham double chance at 1.50 is the right choice as Tottenham are underrated and Arsenal are overrated.
No matter how Arsenal play today, I expect that after this round City's odds for the title will rise to 1.4-1.5.

I can't say I was wrong about Tottenham despite the end result. I'm glad Arsenal won, but it was a lucky win, not a logical outcome. To my surprise, the City is still listed very weakly:

Yes you are right. After two consecutive poor performances and defeats, Manchester United managed to win a match. Manchester United played well in the match as they went against Southampton. However, it cannot be said for sure whether Manchester United will be able to continue the winning streak. Both Crystal Palace and Tottenham are strong teams. And Manchester United is likely to lose points in both these matches. Bruno Fernandes' position has been changed in this match. Perhaps Ten Hag realized his mistake. However, ten Hag could not find a suitable replacement for Hojlund. I think Hojlund's return to the squad will bring more stability to Manchester United's performance.

And from that match I also saw that the Arsenal squad was still really solid even though Arsenal could not control the ball as much as Tottenham did. However, Arsenal players were still confident enough to be able to win the match by taking advantage of the opportunities available because it would be useless if a team was able to control the ball more but could not score a single goal which ultimately made them lose to the visiting team. Currently there are six Arsenal players who are still injured, but I am still quite sure that Arsenal can still perform well with a squad that is still fit at this time.
