I read many comments negatively on Jackson that he is not a good striker but because he is young, and at 23-year-old, he has a long career and he can work hard to become a better player. Next 2 to 3 years will be most important for Jackson and if nothing is changed next 3 years, he already hits his limit. Chelsea actually put their belief on Jackson and this contract expansion shows it.

Back in 2023, he joined Chelsea and so far he played in 38 games for this team, during these games he scored 16 goals which is good but 9 years is a long time for any player.

Stats is not too bad but his playing style does not satisfy many people and they don't like him. Anyway, 9 years is a very long contract and I don't understand reasons that cause Chelsea to sign a very long contract with Jackson. It is very clear that Manchester United is the favorite team in the English league, but in the last 2 matches many Manchester fans are doubtful about achieving full victory when they visit Southampton headquarters. From my observations, Manchester United wants to build a more aggressive team performance like in 2021 when they won over Southampton with lots of goals. This is one of the interesting games to look forward to this week. Liverpool have won their first 3 games and this is the match of the 4th week which also has a big chance to be won. The game will start in the next 15 hours - I hope all Arne Slot's plans for the team go smoothly.

On the other hand - a win in this game could be the perfect moment if Manchester City drop points against Brentford. Of course - I would be happy if that happened, Liverpool would be leading instead of Manchester City.

I think, Manchester united need to use this opportunity to achieve three points from Southampton home, because they look more serious than Southampton in this season. Now that Manchester united manager is receiving some rumors about his replacement if he continues this poor performance with the team in this new season which he will do everything possible to make sure his players win this match with many goals to defeat Southampton so that the rumors of his replacement will not come to reality soon. A 9 year contract is quite long, maybe if for example Jackson stayed at Chelsea he could immediately retire when his contract expired. Because if you look at his current age (23 years), in 9 years Jackson will be 32 years old. Apart from that, I personally am not surprised why Chelsea decided to extend Jackson's contract to 9 years. Because if you look at Jackson's current performance, it is quite good. The reason is that in the 3 matches that Jackson played with Chelsea, he was able to score 2 goals and also 1 assist for Chelsea. Therefore, it is natural that Chelsea dares to extend Jackson's contract for a long period. I agree with you. However, Chelsea's squad is stronger than Bournemouth's. But if Chelsea wants to get full points then Chelsea players must perform very carefully. Because if you compare the performance of the first three matches, the performance of Bournemouth is quite stable. They are unbeaten in three matches and in their last match Bournemouth won against Everton.

Chelsea's performance elsewhere has been erratic. A 6-2 win over Wolves, but we saw a poor performance from Chelsea in the next match. Chelsea team failed to win against Crystal Palace in home match. Glory! Glory! Man United will be in the mud if for any reason they don't win this game. They are already on the verge of having the worst of season with the tune they started the season on even when they have piled up of tougher games they are yet to see. If they can't comfortably win this game and thier next game against crystal palace, then they should be ready to give out more points to aston vila and Tottenham. The win probability and the odds all are all a pointer to the fact that it's possibly going to be a day for the red devils but with the floppy performance they put out against arsenal in Thier home ground, they really need to put themselves back into shape and use this game as a rival match that will bring back the United Spirit into the team. The result ETH and his boys needs is an 100% clear cut victory and nothing less than that. Southernton is currently one of the weakest team in the league that any club that's not even as tough as united should comfortably win against. This is absolutely crazy in my own opinion because this what I call a bondage contract, because they  will be tying him down on a lengthy contract while being paid less compared to other players of same quality in like 4 to 5 years time from now, and that is the same thing they have done with cole palmer, which I think is actually not fair for the game of football, I I think it's high time the football authorities start putting down measures to stop such thing happening in the future.

Another disadvantage of such a contract is that if the player in question flop and isn't able to replicate the form that makes them splash money on him, they will be in a very big loss, because chipping him out of the club wouldn't be that easy due to how lengthy the contract that are remaining is, so it's actually not ideal for me, I think that 5 years contract is very much ok, anything more than that is actually not healthy on the longer run, especially if the player is not delivering as expected.
