Arsenal has again done a fantastic job with 5 goals against Norwich City with 5:0.

Yeah it was great until you realize that it was 5 goals against the worst team in EPL right now. What were people expecting from Norwich though? probably nothing and it was not really impressive

fc chelsea are in danger of losing touch with the top of the table if they don't win against aston villa ... and while i was writing this the 1-0 for villa fell through an own goal of James in the 28th minute

In fact I actually hoped for a draw for this game, much better if Chelsea lose in this game but it doesnt seems like it right now because Chelsea has scored another goal ( at the time of writing this post ). The current EPL looks pretty boring right now with all the top 4 teams keep on winning so some twist would be great though ( actually its because I dont support any of the current top 4 teams LOL )

Boxing Day has been going on great! We have started with many high-scoring games to the day. Manchester City v Leicester was a really superb one. It ended by a 6-3 victory for Manchester City and I definitely wasn't expecting this many goals. Arsenal demolished Norwich away also by 5-0. These were the most attention getting games for me. And now, Chelsea are 2-1 ahead thanks to Lukaku's entering the game in the second half and scoring right away.

Great performance from arsenal,  it was a very good play with good defence that came out with good goals. This is a back to back win for arsenal. Arsenal should keep on going this way of winning . Congratulations to the great team.

Because Chelsea is currently beating Aston Villa, of course, they will get more points than Liverpool. If they are able to add 1 or 2 more goals. Arsenal have been fishing behind the net for a few years. They used to have years where they always competed in the Champions League, that time seems a long way off. The top in England has also become stronger in width. I wish Arsenal to be at the top, but I don't think it will be easy. Perhaps the objective should simply be European Football based on league performance.

Now after achieving top position Manchester City is doing business very aggressively, and they are ruining teams very badly today in first half against team like Leicester 4 - 0 was very impressive but in second half Leicester done very good job and give some very good performance which was still not good enough for having something from here but 6 - 3 is surely very poor result from them. Arsenal is also after losing against Everton now have 4 out of 4 wins and their performance level is also going very high they are at fourth spot but still have some very tough competition from Tottenham and Manchester United with both teams having 3 matches each in their hands and can cross them, but sadly West Ham is suddenly dropping very badly in last few weeks.

Yeah and also 3 goals in the current one, wasn't expecting Chelski to get so "many" goals but one's a penalty and one's Lukaku (also someone else I wasn't expecting to come on).

Happy night for anyone who took over 2.5s, I was considering an entire acca of 2.5 overs tonight, don't know why I second-guessed myself.

I was wrong about that Leicester would score only one goal the most. In the second half of the game, Leicester were nearly performing a miracle against Manchester City. The score was just 4-3 from 4-0 in only ten minutes. Maybe they still lost by conceding two more goals but I still appreciated their high effort in this half. Because in the first half, there was a pure domination of Manchester City.

Good play from Mahrez, he's a good player indeed. Though second half was kind of slow in the performance and I felt nervous somehow,  but Manchester city still did it  as usual.  Great performance from a great team which is u beatable , but I hope the team should make their defense good enough.

And Arsenal didn't make me surprised by simply ending Norwich with a 5-0 result. Even though it was an away game for Arsenal, it didn't matter. Because Arsenal were already having a great time in the league and Norwich were the worst. They dominated both halves of the game and got a fully deserved win. Saka was having a good day that he scored 2 goals. It is just wonderful to watch Arsenal playing like this now.

Lukaku did well! Almost immediately after being substituted, he managed to score the winning goal! Thanks to him Chelsea have beaten Aston Villa so far... Although in terms of chances I would call it an even game... I wouldn't be surprised if Aston Villa scored in the final minutes... In recent matches Chelsea have often conceded a goal late in the game...

Aston villa at some point  started playing for a draw. Lukaku's introduction into this second half has made Chelsea more promising in front of goal. He totally showed class the way he anticipated that ball that lead to the goal and also the run for the ball in that last four minutes of play that lead to the second penalty of the game. Lukaku should have taken that penalty, he deserved to get that goal. Lukaku is the man of the match without a doubt.

Yeah, it is really interesting to see this trio scoring today.    Especially Harry Kane and Lukaku didn't make a good start to this season of the EPL. They both had 2 goals before their games today. But thankfully, each one of them scored another goal today and improved their self-confidence hopefully. These are both top strikers and noone would like to see them struggling a lot.

We watched an incredible match between Manchester City and Leicester today. Like most people expected, Manchester City started dominating the match and taking control of it from the beginning of match already. They scored 2 very early goals first and it was 4-0 in the 25th minute already. The first half ended by this score and I considered it already an easy win for City. However, Leicester were nearly making an insane comeback in the second half. They managed to bring the score to 4-3 by a great effort. But City still weren't out of discipline and finished them off by an incredible 6-3 score.

The 6-3 score for Man City was extraordinary. The players achieved their best performance in a short period of time and were able to bounce back under pressure. Doing a lot of penetration into the opponent's goal made the Leicester players experience a lot of unexpected pressure. Throughout the game, Manchester City had a kick accuracy of around 94% compared to Leicester, which was only 86%. So IMO, what Leicester has done is pretty good even though they lost, they still matched a little in terms of passing accuracy.

It seems that almost all the favorite teams won in their respective matches today. Manchester City and Arsenal won by more goals than Tottenham and Chelsea. Only West Ham should have won but ended up losing vs Southampton 2-3.
 
Actually I never expected Leicester to lose by more than 3 goals to Manchester City today. Very poor defense is why they conceded 6 goals. I think if Schmeichel didn't make a great save then City totally destroyed Leicester by more than 7 goals today. Luckily Leicester can teach City to defend better with 3 goals back in a short time.

Speaking of the boxing day to be great, I think Arsenal always have good luck whenever they play on the boxing day and I could remember when they beat Chelsea 3-1 in last years boxing day game in the Premier League.
What amazed me is that A. Lacazette scored a penalty and Bukayo Saka was also among the goal scorer in last years boxing day game.

Today was a big win for all the top teams with bunch of goals, am really  glad to see them do well .. Nice one from Chelsea just that the players needs to be tough in their game , thanks to lukaku , he is great player who played a very important role in the match today..

What a superb day for Manchester City and Arsenal especially! Because they obtained really perfect victories today against Leicester and Norwich respectively. In fact, Manchester City finished their opponent in the first half already by bringing the score to 4-0. However, Leicester were in no intention to give up and the second half was just something very special. They scored three consecutive goals in ten minutes (55', 59', 65'). And suddenly, it was 4-3! But I really admire Manchester City's calmness that they still scored two more goals and won by 6-3.

And Arsenal had a great game against Norwich. In this away game for them, they had everything under control in the first and second half both. And they obliterated Norwich by 5-0. Now, Arsenal have a winning streak of four games in the Premier League.

It is not easy for Arsenal to reach the top and stand above Man City or Liverpool. For this year it won't be too big and needs some pretty solid player transfer windows again. Arsenal throughout the game they always try to give the best performance. This time they have shown it all. Just as a dark horse next to Chelsea.

Former Liverpool legend football player, now Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard, has coronavirus. The impact of the coronavirus is increasing in the UK. This virus, which is caught in football players, affects the whole life negatively. Premier League matches were postponed, Tottenham were eliminated from the conference league for not playing. I look forward to the days when life will be the same as before. Tonight, Aston Villa will play Chelsea missing from Gerrard.

Not only Liverpool versus Leeds United that was cancelled, two others have also been cancelled, vis Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace and Burnley vs Everton has been cancelled as well. I was very excited that I will watch Liverpool's match but now cancelled. Let us hope the Omicron cases will also reduce.

There are still 6 EPL matches today, I am looking forward to watch Manchester City's, Arsenal's and Chelsea's matches. But just that I do not have much confidence in Chelsea yet, hopefully the club might perform good today.

I am guessing that there will be more and more games keep getting cancelled in the shorter term as well. I do not expect spring to be this loaded, but this winter will be quite difficult if you ask me. I hope that everything goes well and everyone gets back to full health, I mean we had football during covid for the past whole year and nothing happened too drastically, everything was fine and nobody got seriously sick and no games were cancelled back to back like this.

Not like we got covid right now, it is not a brand new thing, it has been around for a while and we had a full year of football last season with covid and we didn't had any period like what we are going through right now. This new thing is very scary and it is really stopping all life once again. I hope we figure something out and we get better or if not then we should put a halt on the season for a month and come back later.

City was confident and Leicester used that in its favor but at the end City was determined to win and 6 goals to 3 was hard to swallow for Leicester's fans.
Today, the favorite teams won big except West Ham which continues with the negative results and they will lose another place in the ranking by tomorrow for ManU.
