Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024

Southampton leading against Westham away from home is not a first half result i would have predicted.... But ever since their Winnig run came to an end these guys mentality seems to have changed and dropped quite a good number of points on the road because they arent as aggressive as they were when the league started. But since one more half is left to go i suppose a draw should be the best result here.

Manchester City created huge pressure and 4 goals are not the end of this match. With this pressure in the second half, they can score more goals and destroy Leicester with result of a tennis match.

It's very poor performance from Leicester but Manchester City do their job very impressively. Ball possession, pressure and two early goals help them to break protest ability from Leicester City. Their opponent surrender too easily and too soon.

Leicester City have been terrible this year I am not surprised that they are losing again by a big margin. Manchester City have won the league this year no other team is on their level and will not compete with them. I predicted Manchester City to win the league but I am getting bored of seeing them win the league.

Arsenal are ending the first half with a solid two-goal lead (which was quite expected against Norwich, though) and seem to be consolidating in 4th place.

They have won 4-2 as of me writing this. Too bad 2 goals so fast. Liecetser city took advantage of the counterattack. Even the three defenders manchster city failed to block the second goal. It seems that Man City must be vigilant while it is still long enough even they have strong ball posesion.

My prediction in the match between West Ham and Southampton was a draw. But now Southampton are 2-1 up. However, West Ham's performance is not bad. Both teams are trying to win. Southampton are 1 goal ahead but I still think the match will be a draw. The West Ham players will score another goal to bring the match back to equal in a short time.

Wow, Leicester are showing an incredible game! Scoring three goals in 10 minutes is fantastic! Especially against such a strong opponent as Man City, and even away! I don't know what's going on, but it's an amazing match! The score was 5-3 as I was writing this post, but there's still 20 minutes to play!

When I said Manchester City vs Leicester, I guess Manchester will win the match 3-2. Many laughed then. Cheesy

Many have said that Leicesterster's players will not be able to score two goals against a strong defense like Manchester. But 70 minutes later, the match is now 5-3. The first half ended 4-0. Leicester failed to score in the first half. However, my guess was that City would win, but Leicester would score at least two goals. We have already seen 8 goals in the match. I hope I can see more goals.

The day after Xmas never disappoints. Tottenham winning 3-0 and a red card. Manchester City beating Leicester City 4-0 at half time are now hanging on for the win with Leicester putting a huge pressure on them. My prediction for Chelsea is a draw they have not been in good form recently and I think Aston Villa could get the win if they push Chelsea but I think I will go for a draw as a bet.

Yes It was awesome to watch goals back to back in not more than an hour in the first half. Now Leicester has scored 3 goals in the 2nd half and 2nd goal was really superb from Leicester. Nice passes and yes he made it to the goal. Bit pressure piled up again. Now there is hardly few minutes and I really loved the way Man City handled the last few minutes with just passed back to back to pass the time. Yes Man City now made their 5th goal and a lovely jump from Laporti and hit the goal on his forehead. Really needed goal. Waiting for the end. Lets see.

But Leicester were more attacking from the start of the second half. And they scored 3 goals in the second half with the help of Kelechi Iheanacho. Kelechi has 2 assists and 1 goal. Manchester is still ahead by 2 goals. They will win, but we were able to enjoy an exciting match.

Pep Guardiola is not taking any chances at the league at all. Its just first half and they are already beating Leicester City by 4 goale to nothing. You can imagine how many points difference in few weeks after being top on the table with 47 points and would be at least 3 or 6 points difference form Liverpool and Chelsea respectively, depending on the outcome of both them games. It already seems like Chelsea have lost there advances at winning the EPL this season. Liverpool might have a chance but, o doubt Chelsea could still pull anything that would work through to the top of the table.

I know Manchester city have this season's league already, we should just give it to them. But my excitement today is for Arsenal, with the way things are going, there is a measure of certainty that we will be in the UCL next season. Another rock solid performance from the gunners! Yeah City are on total control and Kelechi Iheanacho almost had City on the surprise and turn him into a super sub. No one would have thought that after 4-0 , Leicester will go towards comeback but City still had the game in control.

In another game , Arsenal took their game against Arsenal really well. They completely thrashed Norwich with 5-0 scoreline.

Yeah, I saw that and wws amazed at how much difference they made. It made me wonder what was really the problem at the first half, perhaps they needed the goals to wake them a** up. You can imagine, that's how they relaxed and had Liverpool push through to meet up a 3 goal difference in the Carabao Cup. Only if they could have held Manchester city to not adding more goals but sadly, a City game is always score and also have some goals returned.
Arsenal on the other hand was another game with some amazing performance from Arsenal. Norwich literally had no impact on the game. Manchester City 6-3 Leicester City while Arsenal 5-0 Norwich.

Don't be too fast handing Manchester City the league already.
They're doing great doesn't mean they'll win it.

Too careless when attacking made Manchester City have to concede 3 goals in Leicester City's fast counter-attack scheme today. I never thought Manchester City should concede 3 goals today to Leicester after Manchester City won the first half by 4 goals. Overall Manchester City really dominated this match in their usual style but I was struck by Leicester's 3 quick goals in the second half. This is the first time Manchester City have conceded 3 goals in a single match so far.

With today's win, Manchester City have made the points gap with Liverpool to 6. However, Liverpool have 1 match postponed which allows them to get 3 additional points.

At the end of the season, Don't expect West Ham to be sitted in the top six with this performance.
They' have lost there good form, lossing at home again.
It's the third time in total David Moyes is lossing against Southampton.
My man of the match should be for Ward prowse a penalty and two assist.

Chelsea are known to have losses of players due to covid, which has spread throughout the Premier League, but I think they can beat Aston Villa away! Romelu Lukaku has recovered and is now in reserve... I think Chelsea will play with more confidence with him! Bookmakers also give good odds for Chelsea to win at 1.8...
