I'm actually looking forward to next week how they will face Liverpool at their current state.

That is a pretty rhetoric thinking,we all know that at the current state Liverpool is going to crush them really big if Liverpool wants to.It all depends on Liverpool as this guy Ten Haag surely does not know what he is doing with the Manchester United team,if Liverpool wants to win the game with a tennis result like Brentford did tonight they sure have the full capability to do just that.If they don't want to crush they can simply win the game but at this state Manchester United most probably will be fighting to be safe from relegation zone,they clearly lack everything from what I have seen tonight.

I am personally disappointed in Manchester United today. I know that they are in bad form but losing to Brentford by Four goals with out them scoring is a big shame. I think this may even be the worst Manchester United and the new coach may even have a more embarrassing exit, after sir Alex Ferguson left it’s been a while and by now Manchester United should have found their rhythm but no they aren’t what they use to be, it is going to be another season where Manchester United won’t be in the top four definitely.

Brentford 4 - 0 Manchester United

What should I respond to this result? Laugh or Cry?
2 consecutive loses against mediocre teams in the first 2 matches of the new season, I'm not sure what their fans say about this?
2 matches without scoring a single goal (1 goal was just a bonus), and conceded by 6 goals.
It proofs that their problem since the past few season is still not resolved even with the new coach.
Will this lead to another protest from the fans then they will ask to sack Ten Haag as soon as possible?

Holy smokes, I didn't follow the Manchester United game but I somehow expected something bad reading your post. Now that I checked the result: oh my god...

I am sure Ronaldo won't endure that and he is going to protest and leave the club anytime the next two weeks.

Another interesting thing is that Rangnick predicted Manchester United will have an incredibly hard time in front of them and now look at this, losing a game against Brentford with 4 - 0 is just too much to swallow I guess. ten Haag must be surprised and shocked at the same time

Everything! Staff , players , board , fans ....everything is wrong with United.

At this point , they should go to championship for 2-3 years and rebuild there in quiet without stars or football players that think they are above football or above the team. I've said in my previous posts that ex coaches of united told the press that 10 players from 1st eleven must leave ....then the bench is useless and the entire team becomes useless and this is coming from an United fan which is even more sad.

I was speechless seeing Man United's defeat to Brentford, even though Ronaldo had started but not a single goal could be scored by Man United.
The Man United defense is very bad, Brentford can score 4 goals in the first half, this is really a very disappointing result for Man United.
Imagine two games in a row Man United were beaten not by strong teams, it's hard to imagine a team like Brighton and Brentford beating Man United.
If it's like this the confidence of the Man United players must have fallen, it will be difficult for Man United to get up. This is also a heavy pressure

I support United and even made a bet on them before the game. I had to leave, and seeing the score 0-2 (monitored on my mobile phone), I thought that after the break I would have time to make one more bet on United (odds were 7.5). And now I come and the score is already 0-4 and I can say that I saved money   In the next round, the game with Liverpool and the fact that the regular season was lost can be recognized as a completed, RIP.

I followed the first half then stopped watching this massacre. It is a pity, I can feel the agonising pain of ManU fans. A lot was done to build a good team to end up being humiliated by Brentford and Brighton and soon Liverpool...
I don't blame Ten Hag for what happened because the players weren't concentrating at all. Honestly you can find more seriousness in a street game than the one I watched there. And a lot of mistakes that shouldn't be done by professional players.
De Gea was clearly out today, he should have been replaced by the second goal honestly. Martinez position in the current tactics should be studied. Maguire shouldn't play from the beginning. I can't figure out why Ten Hag kept him in the game unless he wanted him to get a red card!
The defence line isn't coherent, midfield isn't supportive and you can't find someone scoring the rare attempts = chaos.
In Liverpool game, ManU should try to keep a draw. Southampton game if it ends with a defeat then the coach will most likely be sacked.

I think they didnt change much the defencive lineup and that is the main problem. I think i have never seen that  Machester United conceded 4 goals in first 30 mins and it could have been even worst. I think management needs to leave the club as fast as possible.

Today's's game is the worst for man u as they conceded  5 goals without scoring any goal in the entire 90 minutes and if care is not taken man u will not make any positive progress in this season as the club has failed to win any match since the beginning of this tournament.

This is why we can't take pre-season games so seriously.
This was truly a massacre for them and indeed their game today was even worse when compared to their first match.
They don't anticipate counter-attacks well and this really doesn't make sense for those who do have some expensive players in defence.

Manchester United fans make us laughing because they are really confidence with pre season match achievement, we know when first pre season match success defeated Liverpool and all of United fans claimed have different with Erik tan Hag, but now what happen with them? never take serious with pre season result, what ever win or loss is not important. Right now Manchester United become terrible with twice loss on Primer League, actually Manchester United have been conceded 6 goals on two Primer League match, losing from Brighton Albion 1-2 and tonight Brentford become bad dreaming for Manchester United with losing bigger score 4-0.

Crazy that in a Pep's style of play. Erling Haaland only managed 2 passes completed. Seems like something is wrong with the team chemistry or some players (Foden) being selfish and trying to go for goal himself instead of linking up. Will have to wait and see when Man City plays bigger teams to see if that turns into a problem or not.

Arsenal are very comfortable now by being 3-1 ahead against Leicester. Leicester did a good job by scoring a goal in the first minutes of the second half but Xhaka answered in only two minutes. I'm expecting Arsenal to have this match under control to win at the end. I really appreciate Gabriel Jesus' performance so far a lot. It is like he has waited for leaving Manchester City to show his skills more often.

This is a different season with new and hungry players with a totality different mindset. This Arsenal team is so much improved. I love their attacking style of play and cohesiveness. My main concern is that Arsenal has proven over the years to lack CONSISTENCY. They mostly start well in the season and then crumble when you least expect them to, especially at important stages of the competition. Hopefully they would be consistent this season. It's consistency in winning games that makes the likes of Liverpool and Man City to always remain top title contenders every season.

But basically as far as I remember about Arsenal in the last season or maybe after entering the second half of the season, Arsenal's performance has indeed improved. At least that's proven if I'm not mistaken with those who won against Tottenham and then managed to score a quick first-half goal against a stronger team, even when playing against Manchester City Arsenal were able to do that too. So, with the inclusion of Gabriel Jesus at least it adds to Arsenal's attack power for the better this season, as evidenced by the match so far Arsenal really promise to enter the title race.

Yeah you are right, Arsenal performance had improved, if it were to be before, Arsenal might have drawn this game they played today, after conceding, but they responded back twice after conceding twice I was amazed, Kudos to Arteta, there is really an improvement in this squad. Hopefully they maintain this kind of fighting spirit it will see them excel so much this season

The Arsenal vs Leicester City gr was one game I viewed to be a touch fixture for Arsenal but the Arsenal team were put to prove themselves to be much better from last season. They took the head start with two goals and responded with each time Leicester City made it to there goal. They seem to be one of the favourite teams in the EPL as it is with Manchester United being the worst thus far with 2 consecutive lose to a team we could undoubtedly have placed them ahead of. Am particularly excited about Gabriel Jesus, to have scored a brace and even gave 2 assist. Arsenal's transfer market is surely paying off good.

Manchester United have started their trash right from last season, the club continues the trash this season, even with Cristiano Ronaldo, Brentford won very easily with Manchester United having the ball possession but Brentford was able to penetrate and score with more shots on goal. Best not to just go for Manchester United for now, they have a lot to change about the club. Congrats to Brentford.

Jesus is getting enough time to play what he didn't get in the past season. I think it is a great deal for Arsenal and I believe that Arsenal will be able to participate in next UCL. Nothing to say about MANU because they are losing continuously and no improvement on their performance.

Gabriel Jesus is like a player who has played with arsenal for a long time because in his first season he immediately merged with the strategy pattern applied by Arteta. I'm sure if arsenal's performance can be maintained properly like this match or the previous match then arsenal will be able to finish in 4th place this season. but the rounds are still too long and a lot of surprises happened in this season.

I really saw a messed-up defense from United, and they couldn't do anything about it. Looks like Ten Hag has to work hard again with MU because when he was ajax, he really had a huge impact

It was a very frustrating and disappointing performance for the red devils today, as much as I love to see them lose I feel sorry for the club seeing how much they are declining speedily. You can see looks of regret and disappointment when you look at the face of Erik Ten Hag as the goal were going in, some serious reshuffling needs to be done in the squad, they have to let go of some dead woods in the team and replace them with better players who will be willing to fight for the badge and give in their best to win matches for the team, I think that is what they need to do now.

Arteta already understands how to maximize the potential of Gabriel Jesus, so far Gabriel Jesus is Arsenal's best purchase. I'm sure
Gabriel Jesus will score a lot of goals for Arsenal and help Arsenal this season into the top 4. So that next season Arsenal can play
in the Champions League. As you said Arsenal have a long way to go, Arsenal still have 36 games to play in the Premier League,
