Manchester United lost to Brighton. They continue where they left off last year. If the fans cannot watch the Manchester United they want this year, they will no longer even go to the matches played. Manchester United must do what is necessary to return to the old days as soon as possible.  Another important development was on the Liverpool front. Last year's championship contender lost 2 points from the first match this year. I hope they don't look for this deficiency at the end of the league.

It was a pain to watch the Red Devils lose their first match to the underdogs Brighton. Although they had more of the possession of the ball on their side, they failed to utilize that and didn’t try hard enough to score goals. Brighton on the other hand was the better team in the match and this was proved by it’s 2:1 win over Manchester United. I don’t want to judge Manchester United performance this season with just its first game of the season. Hopefully it’s performance would increase and fans would see some fantastic gameplay shown during the pre season matches.

MU Performance is still the same as beginning in 2021, maybe because of a new coach and not solid yet between the squad. As I can see from the match statistic vs Brighton, MU is better at ball possession and passing but they are lost motivation between the midfielder and forward also. instead, Brighton has passion beyond playing at home Their attacks are more accurate and measurable.

Still not have different with Manchester United performance, actually with defender area still have bigger weakness with Harry Maguire still as regular player on central defender, I think Erik Tan Hag most braveness to replace Maguire with other player, still have option try to make defender position with Lisandro Martínez and Raphaël Varane, I think both players will give positive impact and make defensive area most safety than used Harry Maguire as central defender. Another position need to change in forward, but Manchester United don't have many option on central forward after not success yet got new forward.

The first week of the English Premier League is over. Tottenham Hotspur occupy the 1st position because they managed to score 4 (four) goals. The second position is AFC Bournemouth. Arsenal is ranked 3 (three) and Manchester City is ranked 4 (four).

Liverpool only got 1 point in the first week for drawing with Fulham. Meanwhile, Manchester United failed to get points at home because they lost to Brighton.

When compared to Manchester United performance (without Ronaldo) in pre-season against Liverpool, it did show a pretty good performance. Although actually, Liverpool did not do the maximum game strategy. Now, the problem is, during their first time with Brighton, they changed the direction of their poor performance, and an inconsistent and chaotic strategy became a big correction for a team that had gone astray.

Tottenham Hotspur aren't joking this season! I guess Man City and Liverpool will need to buckle up. With an impressive performance in the weekend opener of the season, I have every reason to believe that they'd ensure to maintain their spot at the top.

I've also observed that newly promoted clubs like Fulham and Bournemouth are actively participating in the league as presently, Bournemouth are sitted at the second position

I have a feeling that this season will be very different from the previous three seasons that only Liverpool and Manchester city compete for the title, that they leave the club in third position with lot of point gap, the way Tottenham have improved there squad and the kind of coach Conte is, I think he will fight for the title, and if you can remember he won the premier League in his first season at Chelsea's at that time there was pep, and when spurs brought him in to finish the season after they sack Espirito Nuno he was unbeating against city he won both legs against the premier League champions and he draw both legs against Jürgen klopp side, so we need watch out on this team.

Totthenham have improved their team no doubt,even Chelsea's coach is worry about him that his team will be very terrific this season.They have won their first match of the season and they will be hoping to continue their winning as the season continues.Arsenal have also done thesame,they improved their squad by adding about four players and are still open to doing about two more business before the transfer window slams shut,so they are also a threat to the premier league tittle.

Tottenham managed to win the opening match of the season. Tottenham's gameplay was good against Southampton. Every player in the team has been able to play well from their positions. Tottenham's strikers were able to attack a lot, while their defenders successfully countered Southampton's attacks. The next match is against the mighty Chelsea. If they beat Chelsea, Tottenham will be aiming to win the title this season.

Tottenham Hotspur gives me this feeling that the will compete till the end with Manchester city and Liverpool for the title, in there last match they were electrifying but still they left very good players offf the starting eleven, Bissouma, Perisic and Richarlison on the bench, so you the depth of this team...

Spurs did excellent business in this summer's transfer window, Conte identified the players he wanted in order to complement the team, and the board went for those players and signed them, i must confess there is quite a lot of prospect in that team, and their depth is admirable, they also have a great manager that has won the EPL before, all of that looks enough for them to compete for the title and prolly win it, but the problem is City and Liverpool, these two teams are well ahead of the rest, imo, it is going to be another two horse race, but i'd be glad if teams like Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal prove me wrong and compete with the top two teams, it looks unlikely to me, but for the league to be more entertaining, i hope it happens.

Yeah. I hope Manchester United performance increases and fast too. The fans have been far too patient and somewhat understanding for their poor performance in the last season and are looking at them to bounce back, improve its gameplay and earn back its former glory and titles. They’ve got some of the best players in the world and it’s a shame to see them not utilizing their performance to its peak. I miss the good old days of sir Alex Ferguson time at the club and the achievements and heights he helped the club achieve to make them who they are today.

Haaland's performance in this match was very good. The goal he scored in the league opener for City is still very much deserved I think. As for the achievement of his goals this season, it is clear that he still has to see if he can maintain his fitness because indeed he is sometimes very prone to injury and for goals in the League itself I think this will still be less than 30 for Haaland.

Haaland could be one of the best deals lately for Man City, he's still young but pressure doesn't affect it him negatively, he managed to score two goals in the first official match with man city and playing away, one from a penalty, nothing much to say about it and one where he slipped from the defense with his speed and a good finish, I think he's going to be the top goalscorer if the Premier league this season, unless of course he gets injured.

I think Erling Haaland will be the Premier league's top scorer by far if he doesn't get injured.  He's a very talented player and imagine if the great Manchester City midfield fed him with his passes.  He scored 2 goals in the first match.  Considering that there were no players who scored more than 20 goals last year, Haaland can easily play on the top in the remaining matches.

This is a first for Ten Hag, actually disappointing. But I don't think we need to insult him. Football is a mystery whatever the outcome can't be guessed just by statistics. Because the mental state, the physicality of the player, the motivation, and the ability to take advantage of the player are the main factors. The transfer market is still long, the transfer market is still about 1 month. I hope Ten Hag is able to take advantage of this situation for the improvement of Man United. It is clear from experience that Ten Hag is a quality coach, but it is his first time playing in the Premier League.

It's too early to jump on this. EPL isn't like other leagues where strikers go and boss anyhow. Starting the league with two goals doesn't mean he will find it easy getting the golden boot, there is sallah and kane. And also both son and sallah had more than 20 league goals last season.

On the other hand we also need to realize that last season Brighton was also one of the dark horses that not only Manchester United at that time, City, Liverpool and Chelsea were also struggling so this season they can also do the same thing I think.
They have the same abilities in almost every line and indeed chemistry and no one is used as one of the players who are privileged is one of the factors about their trust which is always good between cooperation.
In this case I agree if I say Ten Hag needs to have several options from his tactics so that when one of his tactics doesn't work at least he still has a backup plan.

From the latest info I got that Manchester United are ready to let Ronaldo go and let Ronaldo go if there is a team that wants to sign him but unfortunately, from the latest info I got also all the big teams don't want to sign Ronaldo and maybe there are only one or two it's Dortmund even if it's just a rumor and also Sporting. There is still time for Ronaldo to leave but no club really wants him and apart from that, after seeing his first match with Ronaldo and Varane on the bench I think Erik ten Hag made a big mistake in their first match.

Now maybe Ronaldo should bury the hope for him to move to another club. We know that Ronaldo's problems are many if he does move and now almost all of his fans have several patented players to become strikers.
Dortmund also now has Anthony Modeste now who can indeed be used as a patch while waiting for Haller to recover and I don't think they will be interested anymore especially with Ronlado current salary.

In some ways you are right, but if Brighton is just a dark horse, then Manchester United is an ambitious club with big goals. They worked hard to change the coaching staff and strengthen the team, so the result that we see is not what it should have been. I don’t know, this is the first game, you can say that MU was unlucky, because the teams look equal in statistics, the Manchester United attack worked worse, and Brighton’s defense is better. In my opinion, Erik ten Hag's plan to start United with two midfielders on the field at once—Scott McTominay and Fred—was ineffective. Tominay and Fred endured a difficult afternoon at Old Trafford as Brighton's midfield consistently outplayed them before they were replaced midway through the second half.

So true. in the first 10 games is not a reflection of the end of the season. This is normal if some big teams struggle to win, because of them need to adapt their strategy with new players. Generally in the last 20 games can determine who will win the league that season. Before reaching 20 matches, all results are still very possible to change.
