Regardless of what happened between him and the club I don't think he is that selfish. The main problem with United is not the coach, or the players but the club in general. The owners and united legends have been using their quotes to designate the club, Sir Alex Ferguson still have saying in the club, not just him but others have been dropping quotes and also have a right to point out players that he feels like is suitable for the club. I strongly believe that Erik Ten Hag will push United to his best capability, but their signings this summer, I don't value the players. Chelsea - Tottenham game can hopefully be a competitive one. Tottenham might seem like they started the season by a better result. However things can change a lot when it comes to head-to-heads. And Chelsea have a quite big dominance against Tottenham there recently. Because of that I would prefer Chelsea to Tottenham in this game if I have to make a choice.

Undoubtedly, there are still many games ahead of this season, but to see the loss in the very first game, for a club of Manchester United level, it seems to me a bit of a disappointment.  Brighton & Hove Albion is a good team, I don't want to say that they are worse than Manchester United, but I would like to see MU win in this game, which unfortunately didn't materialize. On the other hand, this trouble can benefit MU and they will pull themselves together, which will allow them to show their best qualities in subsequent games. But that change is going to take time to happen. To change a squad so drastically is likely to take a lot of time and money. Manchester United bought a lot of overhyped players with too much money and now they are suffering because of that. It has also made the players feel under pressure due to the amount of money spent. And obviously, they could not either fail or do anything well with those players.

So as a coach it is obvious that the results are not going to come fast because it will take time to fix the whole squad again. In conclusion, it seems the coach will not make much of a difference after the first match, but let's give him some more time and see what happens.

Other than the reason that there hasn't been any club that want Ronaldo I think if Man Utd sell Ronaldo the only option for Ten Haag for center forward is Martial, I am not saying that Martial is not good, but Ten Haag will need options or a substitute. And in this final weeks of transfer window finding a good striker that available is quite hard I think. Man Utd should have hunt for striker earlier, and if they actually want to let Ronaldo go, they should've done it earlier.

No, they will let Christian Eriksen play as center forward just like the previous matches against Brighton, Eriksen was mainly a Central Midfielder position lol. If not then Greenwood is the last choice since there's no player are better than him, or we may see Maguire will play on center forward? Manchester United is full of surprise and troll lol.

A serious suggestion for Manchester United, they need a huge reshuffling since only 1-3 players I'd say the performance are stable.

They also had Martial, which I know sounds like something they wouldn't want to hear after such a long break and I do not know when he will be ready to come back neither, maybe he is out for the season who knows? It's fully unknown, but he is a striker and he could play there if he ever comes back. They also have Rashford, who I know doesn't play striker naturally, but he could do that, he was tested there a lot and he proved that he could do it, would be harder for him to adjust now but he could do it.

So, between these 4 options, pick one and go with that if you want to, Rashford, Greenwood, Eriksen and if he gets better then Martial, all would be passable levels at least.

The last time I checked, Ronaldo actually tried hard to leave Manchester United, but he was rejected by almost 8 teams in the Champions League. It feels like no one wants him on the team anymore, even though he brings a big name to the team and is still doing well considering his age. And talking about age, that is the only reason why teams do not want him. Even if they are able to get this player, they will not be able to work for a long time with this player.

So, basically Cristiano Ronaldo also does not have too many options and the most suitable option right now seems to be for him to stay at Manchester United which obviously he doesn’t wish to do. I just hope that his performance does not drop after all this drama.

Chelsea - Tottenham game can hopefully be a competitive one. Tottenham might seem like they started the season by a better result. However things can change a lot when it comes to head-to-heads. And Chelsea have a quite big dominance against Tottenham there recently. Because of that I would prefer Chelsea to Tottenham in this game if I have to make a choice.

Of course, I think it will be a competitive match in this match, I see both of them have quite a big chance in betting especially the bookie offers a more decent one for Tottenham at @3.15 how not Spurs domination now is much better than Chelsea I think they have a good squad in an appeal new season so I expect Spurs to win the game even if it's away.
