Well ...their streak had to end at some point but it's unfortunate for them that in ended up with Brighton. Also , let's be honest and admit that Brighton deserved the W today and the fact that they scored 4 goals , makes the victory even sweeter. Chelsea should be aware of this defeat and be ready for next game because I'm still skeptical about this Chelsea season and how they will perform and deliver but so far so good I guess...

The Premier League this season is much more competitive and many clubs can compete for the title especially Newcastle as Newcastle are slowly climbing to the top of the table and are currently in the top four and have just beaten Aston Villa and also Tottenham in the last game in the Premier League.
I think Newcastle will be tough contenders for the title this season, and since being taken over by the Saudi Arabian consortium, Newcastle United have brought in a lot of potential players.

Yes, it is a significant improvement shown by Newcastle this season so that they are able to sit in the top 4 of the standings so far. Financial stability is one of the factors why they have improved this season in my opinion because they can freely bring in the players they want. It is not impossible that in the next transfer market they will make another breakthrough by bringing in quality players.

Chelsea have lost their momentum when they had to endure the embarrassment of being beaten by Brighton. This defeat has also ended Potter's perfect run with Chelsea. And now the Blues have been knocked out of the top four.

Graham Potter really learned a valuable lesson from his former team. In this match Brighton really appeared so aggressive that it was very difficult for Chelsea to match. The atmosphere at Amex Stadium also succeeded in making Potter nervous and making it difficult to find the right solution when his team was heavily battered by his former team.

What a second half performance from Tottenham today, was not easy after Bournemouth scored there second goal in the game, I thought Tottenham can't win this game anymore but they fought back and won them the game, the substitute that he ( Conte) did change the game, I also hope that this match shows Conte that Emerson royal is a rubbish player,and a liability, Rodrigo Bentaccur change the game when he entered as a second half substitute,I don't know why Conte has not addressed the set pieces issues,why would son taking corner kicks when perisic is there.the Korea should only take set pieces when perisic is not on the pitch.

Brighton 4 : 1  Chelsea

Today's most interesting match is between Brighton and Chelsea. Chelsea lost 4-1. Chelsea has been in very good form recently. So probably no one expected such a result in this match. The most important thing is that in this match two own goals were scored due to mistakes by Chelsea players. Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored an own goal in the 14th minute and Trevoh Chalobha made the same mistake in the 42nd minute, and give Brighton a 3-0 lead in the first half. Chelsea could not return to the truck in this match due to falling behind so much in the first half.
Chelsea lost the match only because of the poor performance of their defenders. Conceding 3 goals in the first half only dampened the confidence of the Chelsea players. As a result, they could not perform well in the second half.

The Brighton team started the season very well. They won several matches consecutively. But then they lost form badly. And Brighton lost points in the last 5 matches. But Brighton proved their mettle again today with a great performance against Chelsea. Brighton played very well against Chelsea today. Each of Brighton's attacks was well-planned. Their match strategy was excellent. That's why they won. I found the Chelsea players completely aimless in today's match.

Who else is seeing than Manchester city last season is actually more improved than this season, it's sad we saw that  Halaand is actually human and can actually go a game without a win, his absence today against Leicester city was a big blow and it has to take a genius play from Kevin to secure the win for Manchester city.

I still insist that pep's men has really dropped form and this would really affect them taking the seriousness from Arsenal. I think pep of implement more reason tactics to win game without the concentration of Halaand, every one has a bad game but it doesn't mean the whole team must be affected. Now let's see what Arsenal can do.

I don't know what kind of mystical day this is... Brighton destroyed Chelsea by scoring 4 goals... Newcastle are now fourth in the standings... Spurs almost lost to Bournemouth, but Spurs were the only ones who could recover at the end of the game and win the game... First half and Chelsea has already conceded 3 goals of which 2 of those goals are Own goals from Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah. Its been unbelievable and Brighton Hove Albion is making it look so easy. There performance have been something properly cooked up. They won Manchester United and evn in the game against Manchester City which they lost, they were able to win in bal possession against a team like Manchester City, known for bing in control of there matches.
I don't think there would be any chance of comeback for Chelsea in this encounter.

Terrible ball control in front of the goal post and defense by Chelsea and hence they conceded two own goals but you should not forget the incredible saves by the Brighton goalie Robert Sánchez and i have seen a few sure certain goals that were saved by him. 20 minutes left in this match and i am expecting  one more goal from Chelsea and hopefully they will be able to score against Sánchez.

We watched the match against Chelsea which was a big disappointment.  Brighton defeated them.  Chelsea conceded 4 goals and scored 2 own goals.  With this result, they moved a little further from the summit.  In the other important match, it was Manchester City that beat Leicester City with difficulty.  Kevin scored and made his team the leader for now.  If Arsenal can beat Nottingham tomorrow, he will take the lead again.

Really, lol...! It's funny you saying they helpd them score as though it was intentinal but they did. Like, Chelsea were just off through the whole game and played as though, they were the actual winning team. The early 2 goals to a large extent demoralised them. The only player on the Chelsea team that played as though he believed they could make something out of the match was Mateo Kovacic.

I mean, what was with K. Havertz?
He was just too slow during the whole game, he had 2 great chances and could have just roofed the ball or placed it in the far corner of the posts but instead, he just couldn't meet one and put the other one wide. Chelsea deserved to lose this game and they did.

There is nothing to complain and grumble about. Since Potter joined Chelsea even when he had no much time to prepare, he has been giving Chelsea win and his worse results have been draw. Today happens to be his first loss and you are complaining and pointing fingers at Potter. Potter is a good coach, the fact is established. No one wins everyday, if Liverpool can lose to Nottingham, it is not a big deal for Chelsea to lose to a team that beat Manchester United 4:0

Chelsea Graham Potter did not play well in today's game even when Chelsea was down 2-0 he was unable to identify the major problem in that game. I will say major contributor to Chelsea's lose to Brightonham, potter's former club is because the former club already know his tactics, his weak point and pattern of play, and I guess that's what they used against him to won the match.

Too this Cucrella feature of a thing in the defense line had lapses and isn't working out for him, he should stop featuring him in that wing. Chelsea loosing 4-1 against Brightonham is a huge margin lose for a team like Chelsea.

They are 8 points behind Manchester City and Arsenal haven't played their game yet.  If Arsenal win the match, they will be the leader and Chelsea will be 10 points behind them.  Let's be frank, it takes a miracle to close this score gap.  The goal for Chelsea now will be to finish in the top 4 of the league.  Congratulations to Brighton, they played an excellent game.

Every manager loss after every good run, it's natural, Brighton was the better team.
Newcastle are updating there performance they did not play like a small team today

That Cucurella idea and playing position is not working for Graham Potter, he should find a way to change his wing or change the player. Cucurella exposes Chelsea defence to dangers. He did it in their last match against Manchester United and discover the lapses and substituted him for Covasic around 36mins. Again today he was also weak which exposed Silva to too many pressure. Another thing I saw was playing Loftux over Chilwell.  I don't think that it is a great idea. If he can consider to start every match with Aubameyang, it will give him more chances of scoring goals.

Chelsea were exposed too much of time today and Brighton gave Chelsea too much of pressure. Thing is that Chelsea need strong defence but with Koulibaly and Fofana injured  Potter has to work out with remaining options which are not ideal as centre defence positions. They are gonna struggle a bit for now if they face good sides like Brentford or like Brighton today.

Newcastle 3:0 Aston Villa....

Even I have realized it from last season when Newcastle managed to get out of the relegation zone and could end the season in the middle of the table, it was not an easy comeback but Newcastle can do very well. Thus, this season is a continuation season for Newcastle to prove their rise as a rich team. I am really impressed with the way they have recovered and recovered fully, because even though they are a rich team but they recovered or came back with a squad that is arguably not a luxury squad. But now they can even compete in the top four, which can certainly pose a threat to any team.

Leicester will not be easy to give up, because even though Leicester defended more because Manchester City did not stop attacking but Leicester still had efforts to score goals. Anyway this is a big chance for Leicester at least to draw Manchester City or lose by only one goal difference is not bad either, because at this moment Haaland cannot be played because he is still injured.

Sorry to Leicester, they tried to defend but Manchester City later scored at the early minutes of the second half. With what I am seeing according to how this match is, Leicester is likely to lose this match, or probably if they are eager to score, this may open more ways to Man City to score more goals.

Leicester also gave good resistance to Man City, even though Leicester lost to Ball Possession, their shot and shot-on-goal statistics were almost the same. Man City's front line is also very less sharp without Haaland's presence.

Manchester City narrowly escape today match with just a goal difference and this is a very bad one for Manchester City because alt of goals were expected in the mathc since they up against a smaller club but it is so unfortunately the match ende with just 1 goal.

Manchester City may have been solid with Haaland, if he doesn't play Manchester City won't get as many goals, in the premier league it is difficult to predict even a small club can make a surprise as match Nottm Forest vs Liverpool.

Brighton did not let Chelsea out of their half in the first minutes, they scored the first goal in the fifth minute. It was obvious that the chelsea defense made two big mistakes. The second goal was scored from a chelsea corner kick, they lost the most from corner kicks this year. Chelsea tried hard for the second goal, but they couldn't score. Brighton won the game by scoring another goal in extra time. Chelsea should review the defensive line, very simple mistakes were present in this match.

Surprises can happen, yes, but I don't think such a result as happened between Nottingham and Liverpool would repeat itself very often. A lot of things went the right way for Nottingham on that day and a lot of things wrong for Liverpool.

Anyway, Manchester City got used to having Haaland on the team and scoring goals nonstop. De Bruynes free kick was extraordinary and he probably won't strike that way very often. Today the goal was invaluable and in the right moment. It was hard to strike back then as in most cases Manchester City understands to play these games the smart way till the very end. That's what they did, collect the three points and that's it. No masterpiece, but exactly what they needed without wasting too many resources.
